—[You can practically smell the dead rat through the screen!]
—Anyone who can eat canned herring is probably not human!
"You can do the last one." Luo Shimiao nudged Gu Nian's arm.
With well-defined knuckles, pinch the lid handle and lift it up, then set the lid aside.
"This is..." Luo Shimiao suddenly looked at Director He and pointed to the green liquid, saying, "This is cucumber juice?"
Director He shook his head.
"Vegetable juice?"
Director He shook his head again.
"Kiwi juice?"
Director He smiled and said, "It's bitter melon juice."
Luo Shimiao froze instantly. Bitter! Melon! Juice!
Squinting at Director He, whose eyes were almost closed from laughing, I clenched my teeth tightly. That old scoundrel is definitely doing this on purpose!
Director He was inwardly laughing. Originally, the last dish was supposed to be cold rabbit head, but after accidentally seeing a video of Luo Shimiao climbing onto the roof to avoid taking his medicine, he immediately changed the cold rabbit head to bitter melon juice.
"It's good for young people to eat more bitter foods. Bitter melon juice can clear heat and relieve summer heat, so it's the best time to drink it."
"Luo Shimiao, you're not afraid to drink it, are you?"
Knowing that Director He was using reverse psychology to provoke her, she smirked, turned around, and made a phone call to someone. After speaking for a few seconds, she hung up.
Director He looked at her suspiciously, wondering what she was up to now.
About a minute or two later, Luo Jianxing, dressed in his peacock outfit and wearing carp shoes he brought from Kyoto, walked over with his eyes half-closed, looking like he had just woken up, and was holding a transparent spice bottle in his hand.
"You're sleeping soundly, can't you go up and get it yourself?" Luo Jianxing said with dissatisfaction.
Luo Shimiao smiled obsequiously: "Third brother, you're the best! By the way, add it to my bitter melon juice, and add a lot."
Luo Jianxing unscrewed the bottle cap, poured the contents in without even looking, and turned to Gu Nian: "A-Nian, do you want to add some?"
"Need not."
"Oh." Luo Jianxing screwed the cap on, turned around and left.
Luo Shimiao stirred the sugar with chopsticks until it was almost completely dissolved, then picked up the cup and looked at Director He, saying, "Director, you didn't say we can't add sugar."
Director He felt a pang of regret; he had made a mistake!
"Let's have a drink." Luo Shimiao handed another glass of bitter melon juice on the table to Gu Nian.
The sound of cups clinking together.
Because enough sugar had been added, Luo Shimiao tilted his head back and took a big gulp with great nonchalance.
The next second, Luo Shimiao's eyes widened, and *poof*...
The tender grass on the ground received another artificial rain.
Luo Shimiao clenched her fists and gritted her teeth, saying, "Luo Jianxing, I told you to add sugar, who the hell told you to add salt?!"
"Hahahahahaha..." Director He laughed so hard he rolled on the ground.
