Luo Shimiao: "Meat sauce human brain, funeral procession, underworld fried crab, mummy, your rib."
They are all names that exude a strong sense of yin energy.
“A funeral? That sounds pretty good.” Luo Jianxing rested his chin on his hand, his long, curled eyelashes fluttering. “Choosing them one by one is too much trouble. Miaomiao, pick the names of the dishes that look good to you and have Man’er write them down.”
“Alright, I’ll take all the dishes my beloved just mentioned. Let me see what else is available.” Luo Shimiao held the flashlight and flipped through the menu page by page.
"Okay." Li Man held the brush and wrote the names of the dishes on the white paper.
"Incense Ash Beef, Underworld Yin-Yang Rice, Sealed Bone Jar Meat." Luo Shimiao flipped to the last category of drinks: "For beverages, I'd like Meng Po Soup, Rejuvenation Dew, Blood Bag, and Brain Fluid."
"Let's order this much for now, we can order more if it's not enough." Luo Shimiao turned off the flashlight and closed the Yin-Yang Book.
Li Man wielded her brush, wrote down the last dish name, put down the brush, picked up a piece of white paper, blew on it, and handed it to the waiter.
Waiter: "Sir, I'll have the kitchen prepare the ingredients right away."
Not long after the underworld official left, the dim lights suddenly went out, plunging the scene into darkness.
Even the eerie music stopped, and the only sound in the room was breathing.
After about ten seconds, everyone couldn't contain their curiosity and started whispering among themselves.
Is there a power outage?
"It's probably not. It might be some kind of prank. Don't let your guard down."
"How terrifying! If you knew that, you wouldn't have come. I'm terrified even just to have a meal here."
"Just think that they are fake and you won't be afraid."
"What if there's a real one mixed in?"
"Damn, I wasn't scared at first, but after you said that, I suddenly got goosebumps all over."
Upon hearing their conversation, Luo Jianxing moved closer to Li Man, instantly reducing the distance between them from 50 centimeters to zero.
On the double sofa opposite them, Luo Shimiao leaned against Gu Nian's chest.
A few more minutes passed, and just as everyone was relaxing...
With a snap.
"What fell down?" Li Man asked, frowning.
Luo Shimiao said dismissively, "It's probably something like bloody hands and feet."
A weight settled on her shoulder, and Luo Shimiao continued, "It fell on me, but it doesn't seem to be a hand..."
The next second, the lights came on, and at the same time, screams erupted from the crowd.
"Aaaaaaahhhhhh..."
Luo Shimiao turned her head and looked down at her shoulder. Her calm face slowly cracked, and she opened her mouth: "Ah! I'll f*** your mother!"
She swatted the snake off her shoulder, jumped onto Gu Nian, sat sideways on his lap, buried her head in the man's suit jacket, and trembled.
The tabletop, the ground, and above my head were all covered in snakes.
Gu Nian wrapped his arms around her waist and reassured her, "It's fake."
“Fake things are scary, let alone something this realistic.” Luo Shimiao hugged the man’s waist tightly, not daring to let go for a moment.
Luo Jianxing's eyes gleamed with envy; he too longed to sit in Man'er's lap like that.
"I'm going to die, I'm going to be crushed to death," Little Green's dying voice rang out.
Startled, Xiao Lü moved from Luo Shimiao's shoulder to her shirt pocket.
Hearing its faint sound, Luo Shimiao quickly took it out of his pocket, opened his eyes only a crack, and placed it on the table.
Then he crawled back into his coat.
"Hoo hoo~" Little Green lay on the table, breathing in the fresh air with its mouth open.
After recovering, he tried to get up, but saw a "snake" flicking its tongue. His breath caught in his throat, his eyes rolled back, and he collapsed onto the table.
"Little Green!" Luo Jianxing stood up, reached out and picked it up, placing it in his palm: "Is it dead?"
"What happened to Xiao Lü? Did she really get crushed to death?" Luo Shimiao asked, lying on the man's chest.
Gu Nian glanced at it and said indifferently, "No, it was frightened unconscious by the snake."
"Hehe~" Luo Shimiao laughed unkindly.
Seeing its belly rise and fall, Li Man said, "If a fake snake can scare someone to death, what would happen if it were a real one?"
"Fake?" His tightly closed eyes suddenly opened.
Little Green sat up and looked at the snakes on the table.
Upon discovering that the snake that had startled it hadn't even moved its eyes, it realized it was a fake, and instantly, anger filled its entire chest.
He jumped down from Luo Jianxing's palm and ran over to the snake, pecking and scratching at it.
"................"
It turned out to be a fake faint.
Everyone quickly realized that the snake was fake and was no longer afraid.
The snakes, which had been motionless, began to rise. Both the snakes on the table and above the head had a transparent line running through their bodies, but the dim light made them difficult to spot.
Little Green was still clinging to the snake, engrossed in biting it, unaware that it was also rising.
"Idiot, let go!" Luo Shimiao had just stuck his head out when he saw Little Green hanging in mid-air, and the silly bird was unaware of its situation.
"Huh?" Little Green stopped what she was doing and looked down: "Holy crap!"
If you're not careful, its claws will loosen, and its body will fall.
Everyone quickly stood up and reached out to catch it.
But in the end, it actually grabbed the snake's tail, its small body swaying in mid-air.
Luo Shimiao rolled her eyes: "We'll catch you down there, what are you afraid of?"
Little Green: "I'm scared, it's too high!"
"Are you kidding me? Are you a bird, afraid of heights?"
Little Green hesitated for a moment, then finally released its paw, howling, "Ah... I'm going to die!"
