Chapter 71: A tryst at the cinema
The moment Qin Xuan looked at her, Jiang Ning felt a chill rising from the soles of her feet.
"This sister looks so familiar, I feel like I've seen her somewhere."
Qin Xuan hugged Liu Li and said with a smile.
Liu Li couldn't help but frown, "You and Ningning know each other?"
Jiang Ning decided to strike first, she didn't want to have anything to do with Qin Xuan at all.

Qin Xuan sat next to Liu Li, and next to Liu Li was her roommate.
This movie is an ordinary love movie, boring. It is nothing more than how a man and a woman get to know each other and fall in love, then they quarrel because of some conflicts, and the final climax is inevitably the same thing again.
When the male and female protagonists on the screen kissed and started touching each other, Jiang Ning lowered his eyes to glance at his phone and saw that Qi Jinzhou had called.
She had to get up to answer the phone.
A problem arose, she had to pass by Qin Xuan.
Jiang Ning tensed her body and walked cautiously in front of Qin Xuan. The moment she walked past, her hand was grabbed.
Jiang Ning felt nauseous and shook Qin Xuan's hand away.

Jiang Ning went to the cinema vending machine, bought a bottle of water, and took a sip. "Mr. Qi, are you here yet?"

Suddenly she felt that asking Qi Jinzhou out today was the right choice. With Qi Jinzhou around, Qin Xuan should not dare to do anything rash.
Jiang Ning wanted to buy a bottle of water for Qi Jinzhou as well. After paying, the water fell out of the vending machine. When she bent down to pick it up, a hand reached out from behind and took the water she bought away.
A cold smile came from behind, "Sister Ningning, I didn't expect we would meet again."
It’s Qin Xuan.
A chill and fear made Jiang Ning's blood freeze.
"Get out of the way."
Jiang Ning didn't want to talk to Qin Xuan.
Qin Xuan was still as dissolute as ever. He stopped her and trapped her in front of him. "Old friends meeting, is this how you treat me?"
"Who is your old friend?"
Qin Xuan raised his eyebrows. "If your sister's marriage hadn't fallen through, we might have gotten married a long time ago. Ningning, I still like your type. I heard that your Jiang family company isn't doing well recently. If you apologize to me, I'm still willing to consider it..."
Before he could finish, Jiang Ning said coldly, "Dream on."
Qin Xuan wanted to reach out and touch Jiang Ning's face, but he did feel a little regretful. He had never tasted Jiang Ning's style before, and it was almost becoming a regret in his heart.
Liu Li's voice called out to him from behind, and Qin Xuan's movements came to an abrupt halt. He silently withdrew, "Lili, what's wrong? Do you want some water?"
He handed the bottle of water that Jiang Ning had just bought to Liu Li who was walking over.
The movements are very smooth.
Jiang Ning cursed inwardly, thinking that this thing couldn't even afford a bottle of water.
She had no choice but to buy Qi Jinzhou another bottle of water.
Liu Li just came out to use the bathroom. She originally wanted to wait for Qin Xuan to go back together, but she waited for a long time and he didn't show up. When she came out, she found Qin Xuan in the lobby, and he was alone with Jiang Ning.

Qin Xuan and Liu Li were talking, while Jiang Ning next to them remained silent and just bought water.

She checked the time and called Qi Jinzhou, "Mr. Qi, where are you?"

When Jiang Ning passed the alley leading to the bathroom, she was dragged in. She was so scared that she almost screamed.

Qi Jinzhou curled his lips and smiled, "Didn't you say you were afraid of being seen by others?"

Jiang Ning frowned, his face full of unhappiness. He was scared by him just now.
Qi Jinzhou ruffled her hair and pulled his coat closer to her. "Are you cold? It's quite windy today."
Jiang Ning shook her head. She didn't want to go in and watch the movie at all at this moment.

She had already agreed, but now she regretted it at the last minute. She didn't know what kind of story they would tell her.
"Mr. Qi, I'm sorry to bother you. I've already promised my roommates that I'll have dinner with them after the movie."
This means that Qi Jinzhou is going to be stood up.

Jiang Ning chose to wait outside for the movie to end. The two stood in an empty alley, and she clung tightly to Qi Jinzhou's arms.

Jiang Ning was reluctant to leave, so he stood on tiptoe and kissed Qi Jinzhou's chin.
Qi Jinzhou leaned over and gave her a soft and long kiss.

Qi Jinzhou was afraid that he would lose control in the next second and would not want to let her go.

She came out from the bathroom without looking in the mirror. Her lips looked moist and shiny at the moment. Her skin was originally fair, and now her lips were very red, as if she had put on lipstick.
Several roommates were looking for her after watching the movie. Jiang Ning hurried over. Qin Xuan and Liu Li were standing together. They seemed to be talking alone. When she came over, Qin Xuan glanced at her secretly.
A chill crept up Jiang Ning's back.
