Lin Yurou shook her head frantically: "I'm not going, that female ghost is too scary!"
Qin Ze smiled faintly: "If you don't go, I'll kill you right now."
Lin Yurou was terrified. She had thought she had found a lifeline, but instead, she had just escaped one danger only to fall into another. Her eyes were filled with fear, and she could only nod reluctantly in agreement.
Lin Yurou helplessly led Qin Ze forward. The closer she got to the equipment room, the more violently her body trembled. Finally, they arrived at the door. Through the glass window, the scene came into view. Sure enough, there was a woman in red standing in front of a bed, on which lay a corpse. The woman's hair was disheveled, and she looked as if she was tearing at the corpse.
Lin Yurou's face turned pale, and she gripped Qin Ze's arm tightly with both hands, her eyes filled with fear. Qin Ze, on the other hand, calmly observed the situation, revealing little emotion.
Lin Yurou's gaze was fixed on the red-clad female ghost. Her voice trembled with fear: "Let's go quickly, that female ghost is too scary!" After saying that, she carefully tried to sneak away, but Qin Ze grabbed her collar and roughly pulled her back.
Under Lin Yurou's horrified gaze, Qin Ze kicked open the iron door without hesitation, then grabbed Lin Yurou tightly and led her into that terrifying room. At that moment, Lin Yurou's heart sank into endless despair. She knew that she was finished, completely beyond saving.
Qin Ze's entry into the room caught the attention of the woman in red. The woman slowly turned around, and a chilling scene came into view.
Her appearance was extremely disgusting, filthy and twisted: her skin was as pale as paper, covered with sores and signs of decay, and her red clothes were soaked in blood and no longer recognizable.
The female ghost's face was twisted and deformed, one eye was almost bulging out, revealing a broken eye socket with the eyeball hanging on her face, her nose was twisted to one side, and her mouth was abnormally large, revealing a set of sharp teeth that seemed capable of crushing bones.
The entire body emitted a nauseating, rotting stench; blood and decaying flesh mixed together, forming a foul odor that was unbearable to behold.
The red-clad female ghost's arms were twisted abnormally, like mutated claws, with sharp nails like knives, dripping with blood and liquid.
Her legs were bent into an unnatural shape, as if she had lost her human nature and was instead the shell of some kind of terrifying creature.
The female ghost let out a terrifying roar, as if a demon from hell had descended. Her twisted figure lunged at Qin Ze with bared fangs and claws, but as she rapidly approached, a cold light flashed in Qin Ze's eyes.
Lin Yurou fainted from fright and collapsed to the ground, while Qin Ze faced the female ghost without fear. He sneered and kicked the ghost mercilessly. Instantly, the ghost was sent flying by the force, crashing into the wall with a shrill scream before sliding to the ground and never getting up again.
Qin Ze showed no mercy. He took out the Heavenly Question Sword from his spatial ring and gripped it tightly in his hand. With a flash of light, the white blade sliced through like lightning, instantly splitting the female ghost's body in two. A foul-smelling black mist rose from her remains, and the female ghost's existence was completely ended.
The room fell into a deathly silence once more, with only the faint breathing of Lin Yurou as she fainted indicating a glimmer of life.
Qin Ze's gaze swept across the equipment room, the environment of which felt eerie and sinister.
The equipment room was not spacious and was filled with various old-fashioned medical equipment, which looked quite old. In the center of the room was a large operating table, surrounded by various medical tools and equipment, some of which were old and rusty.
On the operating table, there was still half of the female ghost's uneaten corpse.
The room was dimly lit, with only an old chandelier hanging from the ceiling, emitting an eerie yellow glow. This dim lighting made everything seem even more terrifying.
The workbench was piled with various medicine bottles and test tubes, which looked like they hadn't been used for a long time. Some of the labels on the bottles had faded and were illegible.
On a tool rack in the corner hung some scalpels and clamps, weathered and rusty. These tools looked particularly eerie in the dim light.
The walls of the room were covered in damp spots, as if the place hadn't been maintained for a long time.
Qin Ze followed the direction of the eyes in the painting one by one, finally noticing the safe. The safe wasn't large, and it looked quite old, with a thick layer of dust covering the metal, indicating that it hadn't been opened in a long time.
He didn't waste time guessing the password; instead, he swung the Heavenly Question Sword without hesitation, splitting the safe in two. When the metal safe broke in two, there was only one thing inside: an old letter.
Qin Ze carefully took out the letter, then opened it and began to read it.
If you are reading this letter now, then I am no longer alive. I was the director of this hospital, and I have always devoted myself to protecting it, day and night, rain or shine.
However, fate played a cruel joke. The hospital was possessed by a strange force, and the current director was no longer me. He was evil, the embodiment of sin, corrupting the place and filling it with death and terror.
If you want to leave this place, you must kill the current hospital director. Only then can the hospital return to normal, and only then can you escape this gloomy place.
