Chapter 202 Bodhi Tree shuhaige.net

Qin Ze stood atop Mount Song, gazing up at the towering Bodhi tree that seemed to reach into the clouds. This enormous tree was over a thousand meters tall, its massive trunk stretching out like a giant pillar reaching towards the sky, its branches and leaves abundant and lush.

The tree was laden with enormous Bodhi fruits, each larger than a small house, shimmering with an alluring golden light. These fruits were considered treasures by practitioners, containing profound spiritual power.

Qin Ze was about to approach a Bodhi fruit, but just as he took a step forward, the Bodhi fruit suddenly burst open, revealing a monk dressed in a robe. The monk's eyes were glaring like a fierce Vajra, and his expression was menacing.

Without hesitation, the monk launched an attack on Qin Ze, his figure instantly transforming into a bolt of lightning as he swiftly pounced towards Qin Ze. However, just as he approached Qin Ze, Qin Ze casually waved his hand, as if brushing away dust, shattering the monk's body into pieces.

The monk's body turned into a cloud of blood mist and dissipated into the air.

The aura emanating from the Bodhi tree grew increasingly sharp, causing Qin Ze's heart to tighten slightly. He hadn't expected these plants to mutate into such a bizarre existence. Perhaps his actions had caught the Bodhi tree's attention, for one by one, the Bodhi fruits burst open.

The monks who sprang from the Bodhi fruit all had fierce eyes and were filled with rage as they rushed towards Qin Ze. Qin Ze frowned and slapped one of them away with a palm strike, but there were simply too many monks, as if they were endless.

A resolute glint flashed in Qin Ze's eyes. With a surge of power, his figure moved like lightning, weaving through the enemy ranks. His palms shimmered with dazzling light, and with each swing, a monk was reduced to ashes.

Suddenly, Qin Ze's gaze sharpened; he sensed the peculiar aura emanating from the monks. Without hesitation, he raised his hand, and a strange energy instantly spread out. The next moment, almost simultaneously, all the monks self-destructed, igniting a burst of intense sparks.

Smoke and dust filled the cave, but after a moment, everything returned to calm. Qin Ze stood there, his brows slightly furrowed. This strange place was far more unusual than he had imagined.

A hint of curiosity flickered in Qin Ze's eyes; he naturally wanted to explore this enormous Bodhi tree. He lightly leaped onto the back of the golden crane, then urged it to ascend into the air.

As Qin Ze slowly ascended to the summit of the Bodhi tree, his gaze pierced through the dense foliage and branches, revealing an incredible sight. At the very top of the Bodhi tree stood a magnificent temple, the entire Bodhi tree seemingly serving as its foundation, supporting it.

Qin Ze gracefully leaped down from the golden crane's back and stepped onto the temple's stone steps. He stood quietly in front of the temple gate, looking up at the four ancient and mysterious characters carved on the gate: "Little Thunderclap Temple".

A cold smile crept across his lips, making everything all the more amusing.

Qin Ze stood in front of the Little Thunderclap Temple, about to knock on the door, when suddenly a group of martial monks dressed in robes appeared in front of the door, holding heavy wooden clubs. Their eyes were sharp and their bodies exuded a chilling aura.

The monks stood in formation. The leader of the monks walked up to Qin Ze, his gaze as cold as ice, his voice harsh and indifferent: "Who goes there? Why have you trespassed into Xiaoleiyin Temple?" His tone was full of vigilance and threat.

Qin Ze smiled slightly, a faint smile in his eyes. He calmly replied, "I'm not suspicious in any way; I was simply drawn to this temple." His voice was gentle and even, without a trace of malice.

Despite Qin Ze's explanation, the monks remained vigilant. The leader of the monks frowned slightly and said firmly, "This place is not open to the public. You should leave."

"That's right, this is a sacred Buddhist site, get out of here!"

As the monks warned him, a cold smile flashed across Qin Ze's brow. He wasn't angry; instead, he appeared calm and composed. He gently raised his palm, a seemingly peaceful gesture, yet it contained unimaginable power.

Before the monks could react, a powerful force struck, instantly knocking them all to the ground. They had no time to resist and were already being sent flying against their will.

The monks fell to the ground, their cries of agony mingling with the sounds of breaking wood.

This scene left the other monks dumbfounded; they couldn't believe what they were seeing. Qin Ze's strength far exceeded their expectations.

When the monks sensed the oppressive aura emanating from Qin Ze, their hearts sank, realizing that the newcomer meant trouble. They quickly exchanged emergency signals, and a rapid alarm immediately sounded throughout the temple.

The temple gates opened, and another group of martial monks quickly emerged. Each of these individuals possessed extraordinary skills, with most being innate-level martial artists, and even a few being grandmaster-level experts. However, in Qin Ze's eyes, this group seemed utterly insignificant.

A grandmaster monk stepped onto the front lines, his brow furrowed, his aura sharp and imposing. He stared at his fallen comrade, his eyes blazing with fury. He roared at Qin Ze, "How dare you injure a disciple of my temple! You're courting death!" His voice boomed like thunder.

At his command, the surrounding monks quickly surrounded Qin Ze, rubbing their hands together, ready to take him down in one fell swoop. However, at this moment, the sneer on Qin Ze's face became even more pronounced, his eyes filled with disdain and mockery.

Before Qin Ze could answer, the monks attacked him one after another. They were agile, their moves were skillful, and the pressure of their innate strength was overwhelming.

However, just as they approached Qin Ze, he lightly stomped his foot as if stepping on a thin sheet of ice, easily sending the monks flying. A series of screams echoed through the air; they seemed to be controlled by an invisible hand, utterly powerless to resist.
