Gu Baiwei smiled at her, opened the car door, and sat down next to her.
Ye Chuyue noticed the still-bleeding wound on her face, and after a moment of silence, said to her, "Wait for me here."
After saying that, he got out of the car and quickly walked into the pharmacy next door.
A moment later she returned carrying a paper bag from the pharmacy, casually tossed the bag to her, and sat back down in her seat.
Just then, Song Anze returned with coffee. He glanced at the two of them for a moment and asked with a smile, "You two have made up?"
Gu Baiwei nodded, but Ye Chuyue snorted coldly: "I didn't say I accepted you. It's just that you were injured while saving me, so it's only right that I buy you medicine. Don't flatter yourself."
"Alright, alright, I was just being presumptuous. Can we go back and take care of your brother and sister-in-law now?"
Ye Chuyue glanced at her, but didn't refuse, which was taken as tacit agreement.
