Gu Baiwei felt a chill run down her spine under his dark, lifeless gaze, but she forced herself to remain calm and said, "No, how could that be? I just saw a mosquito on your head and wanted to swat it for you."

Her voice was as gentle as ever, but it sent a chill down Gu Baiwei's spine.
