Chapter 169 The Torn Bathrobe
Where did this ice sculpture come from?
Caesar's smile remained unchanged, but his gaze towards Cross was full of scrutiny.
His gaze lingered for a moment on Klose's neck, which was not covered by the high-necked robe.
There was a bruise that hadn't completely faded.
Caesar's preferred weapon was a whip, so he immediately recognized what had caused the mark.
Technique, force, angle, the height of the whip user...
His tone became playful: "This new servant seems to have learned some necessary lessons."
A chilling killing intent flashed in Kross's golden eyes.
Ripples spread across space around Caesar.
The tension between the two powerful figures was palpable.
Seeing the tense atmosphere, Ning Shuyin quickly pulled Kross away and then pulled Caesar back, like separating two cats that were about to fight.
"Don't fight here."
Caesar, however, smirked. He deliberately shook his bathrobe, revealing more skin.
Then, the space rippled. He teleported to the other side of Ning Shuyin, standing side by side with Kross.
“Little guy,” Caesar looked down. He felt that Ning Shuyin had pulled Klose away first, clearly preferring physical contact with him. This made him a little resentful.
“I’d also like to play a master-servant game with you, is that alright?” Caesar asked.
These words clearly touched a nerve with Klose.
He gritted his teeth and forced out four words: "This is not a game."
His hands, which were placed at his sides, were clenched into fists, and his whole body exuded an even stronger chill.
"Both of you shut up." Ning Shuyin pushed the two aside and walked out of the corridor. "I'm going to lure this castle to Lilith G1 for a trade. If you want to come, follow me."
She left all the ambiguity and tension behind. All she cared about now was making money! Making money quickly!
Caesar and Cross exchanged a glance, both seeing hostility in each other's eyes.
But at this moment, catching up with the person who is getting further and further away is obviously more important.
"Little one, why are you walking so fast? Wait for me." Caesar's voice came from behind, and then he teleported to her side.
Klose remained silent, his figure appearing behind her like a ghost, keeping a half-meter distance from her, following closely.
She walked very fast.
Two figures accompanied her, like two guardian angels she couldn't shake off.
Upon arriving at the transfer platform, new problems arose.
The landing ship HMS Opera can only seat two people.
Caesar was already checking the takeoff data in the control cockpit.
His silk bathrobe was wide open, the hem of which was piled haphazardly on the seat, looking quite out of place against the shimmering star charts around him.
But Caesar looked languid and relaxed, as if he wanted to hold a salon in the cabin.
The golden beast ears twitched playfully: "Little guy, come on up. As for this ice sculpture... let him fly back on his own? Or, we can let him hang outside the spacecraft and experience the wonders of space."
Before Ning Shuyin could even rub her forehead, Kross had already walked to the control panel of the landing ship.
"Master, this landing ship has a structural optimization function. I will now activate the three-person mode for modification."
Caesar's smile vanished quickly.
Before he could react, a series of mechanical sounds began to emanate from his surroundings.
The driver's seat suddenly moved back, and the control panels on both sides folded inward with a click, making way for an aisle.
Before Caesar could even settle in, the overhead storage compartment suddenly opened downwards, and a folding seat panel landed almost touching his nose, locking onto his spacious seat with a thud.
"Hey, I'm still inside the cabin. Why didn't you tell me you were coming?"
Caesar dodged the flipped-over small table, and the floor beneath his feet started working again, with pedals popping out from the side, nearly tripping him.
“You can teleport out,” Kroos said ruthlessly.
"Hmph, trying to trick me out? Don't even think about it." Caesar kept dodging, displaying his agility in the confined space to avoid being caught by the reassembled mechanical structures.
But no matter what, he didn't want to leave the command center. He was afraid that if he went out, Cross would take Ning Shuyin and drive off in the landing ship.
With a ripping sound.
It was the sound of fabric tearing.
His loose bathrobe was particularly cumbersome during the dodge.
A metal buckle suddenly popped out and mercilessly hooked onto the hem of his bathrobe. In the blink of an eye, the bathrobe was torn open from the side of his thigh all the way to his waist.
An awkward expression flashed across Caesar's face.
Ning Shuyin's gaze inadvertently swept over that patch of honey-colored skin. The firm lines of her legs flashed before her eyes, and her cheeks flushed slightly. She awkwardly looked away.
Finally, with a click, the last mechanism plate was in place.
"Master, the cockpit has been reassembled." Kross reported earnestly, bowing his head.
A two-seater landing ship has been transformed into a compact three-seater private jet.
Ning Shuyin was led by Kross to the most spacious seat in the middle.
"Master, the seat heating and massage functions have been activated for you," Kross said respectfully.
The seats on either side of her narrowed out. On one side, Caesar, who was covering the hem of his bathrobe and swishing his tail, was squeezed in, while on the other side, Kross sat expressionless like a door god.
The landing craft took off, and the gravity stabilizer firmly pressed her into her seat. The small spaceship finally transformed into a tiny white light and headed towards the Opera House.
Ning Shuyin closed her eyes and leaned back in her chair.
Her salvage mission hadn't even begun, but the chaos that was about to unfold was already foreseeable.

Within a perfect dodecahedron, there are countless bands of light composed of 0s and 1s.
An aged male voice rang out in the air, devoid of tone: "Observer Alpha, what is the purpose of your request to convene the Divine Court Council?"
The dodecahedron slowly rotates, revealing one of its faces.
A woman in a white robe stood silently, like a ghost.
"Arbitrator, I've observed that the core of the user codenamed Kross has been overwritten. Kross's loss of control means that our plan has taken a major wrong turn."
One facet of the dodecahedron reflects a scene from the K100 ruins—the moment when black chains erupted from Ning Shuyin's body, forcibly binding Kross.
Each rune on the chain was analyzed in slow motion.
"A deviation?" The old man's calm voice finally showed a slight fluctuation. "No, this is precisely the most perfect step in the plan."
"Our race created Kross, never for that laughable imperial power." The old man's voice was contemptuous when he mentioned the word "imperial power."
"He is the perfect detector, to touch, analyze, and even penetrate the boundaries of this story box; that is his destiny."
The woman in white robes looked surprised: "You mean... the purpose of Prince Kross's existence from the very beginning was to get in touch with that variable? To get in touch with that person?"
