Chapter 55 Succubus? Are we going this far?
At this point, anxiety will not help.
Ning Shuyin looked at the signal symbol representing "Extraterrestrial Starfield" on the personal terminal and sighed.
Since we're here, let's seize the opportunity and go to the Chaos Trading Star to buy all the Black Box Operator Terminals.
The spaceship soon arrived at a magnificent central docking port.
This place is like a transportation hub, with countless spaceships of different sizes and shapes coming and going, like a swarm of bees around a hive.
"We've arrived. This is the Tartarus Nebula."
Caesar came to her side.
He changed out of his casual leather jacket and into a three-piece suit, with a dark gold trench coat draped over it.
His brilliant blond hair was tied at the ends with a black silk bow. He exuded a regal air.
Ning Shuyin wore a high-quality pearl-colored dress—made by the mechanical tailor of the Caesar spaceship.
His ship was a fully functional independent kingdom, ready to satisfy his every whim.
Caesar opened the holographic star map in front of Ning Shuyin.
"I'm going to the Chaos Trading Star to handle some tedious transactions; it will probably take several standard hours."
Then, like a tour guide, he pointed out several glittering planets on the star map.
"This golden asteroid is a shopping planet, with 100,000 luxury stores, offering all the latest styles, enough to keep you browsing."
"The silver one is the bathing star, with a paradise bath, a seven-colored hot spring, and dog massage, which is suitable for rest and relaxation."
"The blue one is called the Lucky Star. It has thousands of casinos on it. There's no betting odds they wouldn't dare to offer, only things you can't imagine."
"If you have exams coming up, you can go to Exam Star. There are many temples there, and they're said to be very effective. Oh, and there's also this arena on Entertainment Star. If you're lucky, you might even see death row inmates fighting. Which one do you want to go to?"
In his words, there was no difference between "shopping" and "death row inmates fighting," as if he were introducing an ordinary tourist attraction.
He noticed Ning Shuyin's slightly stiff expression, then seemed to realize something and smiled easily.
"It was my oversight. Girls probably don't like gladiatorial arenas. Let me take you to the shopping mall. Whatever you like, your entourage will pay for it."
Ning Shuyin looked at the bright lights and bustling activity, but she was not tempted at all.
Her gaze was fixed on a corner of the star map.
On that dangerous planet marked with a red exclamation mark.
"I also want to go to the Chaos Trading Star."
She looked up and met Caesar's azure eyes.
Caesar's smile vanished.
“Miss Ning, the Trading Star isn’t a playground. The only rule there is power and leverage. A young girl like you would be devoured whole. Are you sure… you want to go?”
His words implied that he didn't want her to go with him.
Normally, Ning Shuyin might have let it go.
But her proposal to date Caesar was actually a ploy to reach the trading star.
This time, she was determined to insist: "I'm sure."
Caesar's expression became somewhat inscrutable.
"Once we get there, I won't have time to worry about your safety."
"I will try to be careful."
Caesar looked at her, and in her clear eyes there was no foolishness of the ignorant, but rather the knowingness of those who knowingly ventured into danger.
This... exceeds his "data assessment" of her; perhaps he can try again.
Caesar suddenly burst into hearty laughter.
"Interesting! You're very interesting!"
He reached out his hand to Ning Shuyin again.
"Since you insist, then I'll take you there."
"However, before we get down to business, come with me somewhere first. I'll show you the rules of Trading Star."
After saying that, Caesar pulled her along and boarded the shuttle bound for the Chaos Trading Star.
From a distance, this "dark paradise of wealth and ambition" looks extremely futuristic.
It is not a round planet, but a miniature celestial body composed of countless alloy platforms and gravitational chains.
A dazzling energy bridge connects different functional areas.
Thinking of Caesar's words and his expectant look, Ning Shuyin had a vague feeling that something was wrong.
The shuttle finally came to a stop.
Step out of the cabin.
She stood before a magnificent building that resembled a temple.
The sign at the palace entrance reads in the common interstellar language: [Cupid's Labyrinth].
The font is pink, and it's decorated with lots of little hearts.
That style, that aura... it's simply indescribable.
Ning Shuyin realized that she had underestimated the "King of Space Pirates'" ways of doing things.
“Let’s go,” Caesar gave her a meaningful smile. “This place is much more exciting than you can imagine.”
At the palace gates, men and women of all kinds came and went, their postures intimate.
Caesar walked ahead without looking back.
Ning Shuyin had no choice but to bite the bullet and follow them through the door painted with roses.
Behind the door lies another world.
Loud music and mesmerizing lights.
The holographic projection of the dancers was graceful and alluring.
They would appear at every corner of the corridor.
Guests walk through it, light and shadow brushing past their shoulders and piercing their chests; the dreamlike dance moves are so close yet so fleeting.
In the central hall, a rare race with horns and dragon tails swayed their bodies to the rhythm of the dance music.
Their eyes were docile.
A guest can casually point and select a dancer, who will then be frozen in place and strike the pose requested by the guest.
Either taming or teasing.
Or perhaps it is a suppleness and wildness that transcends the limits of humanity.
Then, a line of eye-catching prices will be displayed above the dancer's head.
“Here, anything can be traded. If you have anything you like, just tell me…” Caesar’s voice was drowned out by the drumbeats.
He was clearly the king of this chaotic land.
Wherever it passed, crowds were separated by an invisible force.
Guests and staff alike respectfully made way for him.
The manager, sporting a pair of sable ears, jogged up to him and led him to the VIP box with the best view.
The heavy insulating magnetic field descended, filtering out external noise and leaving only music.
Caesar leaned back comfortably on the sofa cushions.
"Now, let me give you some appetizers."
He gave Ning Shuyin a mysterious smile: "Tell me, what type do you like?"
"What does that mean?" Ning Shuyin's ominous premonition grew stronger.
Before she could answer, Caesar directly ordered the manager on the personal terminal: "I want to entertain the children. Bring one of each of your most popular types."
A moment later, the partition between the private rooms was opened.
Ning Shuyin was dumbfounded.
Twenty men, each with a distinct style and top-notch looks, filed in one after another.
Some of them had dog ears, fluffy tails that swished behind them, and clear, innocent eyes.
Some of them have pointed elf ears and a cool, noble air about them.
Some even have devil horns on their heads and a wicked smile on their lips. Their long, thin tails are wrapped around their legs, with the tips shaped like hearts.
When the twenty boys entered the room, their eyes immediately lowered when they met Caesar's gaze.
It is an instinctive fear.
Until Caesar lazily waved his hand and said, "What are you standing there for? Go up there, all of you."
Upon receiving the instruction, the invisible pressure dissipated, and the boys gathered around Ning Shuyin with a clear purpose, speaking in various tones:
"Master, please give me your orders."
Ning Shuyin: "..."
Her brain went blank.
