Upon hearing this celestial music, Zhou Xingdou's body stiffened instantly. In just a moment, Gan Mengli, Gan Tianmeng, and Luo Xiangjun were taken back into the Creation God Palace by him.
His eyes also lost all their languidness at that moment, and he suddenly stood up straight, quickly looking towards the source of the sound.
It was an ethereal and aloof figure, so beautiful that all beings were captivated, and even the sun and moon paled in comparison, as if a celestial maiden had descended upon the world.
The visitor was none other than his master, Tian Jiu'er.
Tian Jiu'er was still wearing that black immortal robe, barefoot as she descended to the mortal realm. With each step, golden ripples spread across the ground like water as she slowly walked towards Zhou Xingdou.
Zhou Xingdou hurried forward, like a waiter greeting guests in a teahouse, and trotted to Tian Jiu'er's side:
"Jiu'er, if there's anything you need, you can just let me come see you directly. Why did you have to come to see me in person?"
As he spoke, Zhou Xingdou reached out to support Tian Jiu'er's delicate hand.
Tian Jiu'er remained unhurried and composed, her beautiful eyes glancing at Zhou Xingdou:
"Now they don't even call him Master anymore?"
However, she did not avoid Zhou Xingdou's hand, allowing him to help her up by the arm and sit down in front of the throne.
Zhou Xingdou chuckled, secretly signaling Zhu Youzhu and Zhu Youyun to stop and leave. Then, he squatted down beside Tian Jiu'er and said with a slightly fawning tone:
"Call me, call me, call me, Master's wife, Master's first wife."
Thump!
The familiar sound of knocking on the head rang out, and Zhou Xingdou gasped in pain, quickly stopping himself. He could only think to himself that his master was far too difficult to deal with!
Tian Jiu'er's lips curled into a helpless smile, her bright, ethereal eyes glancing at Zhou Xingdou as she slowly spoke:
"I don't know who they learned it from, but seeing that I'm not behaving properly these days, they think I should behave myself?"
But this time, Stephen Chow was fearless and defiant, raising his head to confront the situation head-on:
"Does being a 'proper' person mean never expressing your love? Doesn't that mean you'll miss out?"
This time, Tian Jiu'er was indeed speechless. It wasn't that she couldn't argue with Zhou Xingdou, but rather that she didn't want to debate with him, lest her disciple throw another tantrum and make her legs covered in snot.
He could only turn his head away.
"I'm too lazy to listen to your nonsense. Hurry up and serve your teacher some tea."
"Alright, alright, I'll serve you some tea."
Zhou Xingdou readily agreed, and picked up a teacup from the side, but instead of handing it directly to Tian Jiu'er, he put it to his lips and drank it down in one gulp, then puffed out his cheeks and leaned closer to Tian Jiu'er.
Hmph-Hmph-
Zhou Xingdou hummed and nuzzled his lips toward his fairy master's mouth. Tian Jiu'er almost laughed out of exasperation at the sight of Zhou Xingdou.
If it were anyone else, let alone a man, even a woman or a child, they would surely die today.
But instead of slapping away that sullen face, Tian Jiu'er looked at Zhou Xingdou with a half-smile and said:
"So you really want to become my teacher yourself?"
Zhou Xingdou's eyes lit up, and he hurriedly nodded frantically, almost spilling the tea in his mouth.
"Okay, but only this once."
Tian Jiu'er closed her eyes with a half-smile, seemingly waiting for Zhou Xingdou to serve her tea.
Overjoyed, Zhou Xingdou quickly pressed his pouting lips to Tian Jiu'er's red lips, his breathing becoming rapid and excited.
But just as Zhou Xingdou's lips were only a millimeter away from Tian Jiu'er's, and Zhou Xingdou's eyes flashed with a fierce light, a soft jade hand blocked his forehead, pulling his kiss away by half an inch.
"You really dare to kiss me! You're incredibly audacious and disrespectful to your master and ancestors."
Tian Jiu'er looked at Zhou Xingdou calmly, biting her red lips lightly, with a hint of playfulness in her expression.
Zhou Xingdou cursed Tian Jiu'er inwardly for being despicable and shameless, actually giving him a challenge to stop his inch.
But he wasn't going to be outdone. Their faces were already close, and although Tian Jiu'er had covered her forehead to prevent him from getting any closer, he could still lift his chin and pout.
Before Tian Jiu'er could finish speaking, Zhou Xingdou forcefully raised his chin and kissed her, instantly sealing her red lips tightly.
Ugh!
Tian Jiu'er glared angrily with her bright, fairy-like eyes, and with a forceful push of her jade hand, she sent Zhou Xingdou flying. However, the easy touch on her lips and the soft "pop" sound still filled her with immense shame.
They've gone too far!
She, a dignified Great Luo, was actually ambushed by a disciple of a mere Quasi-Emperor, which undoubtedly filled her with shame and anger.
But before she could cause trouble for Zhou Xingdou, he had already flipped in mid-air and landed back beside Tian Jiu'er, asking with a smug look on his face:
"How is it? Is the tea I served you sweet?"
But the next second, Stephen Chow's smile vanished.
Because a tremendous sword light was reflected in his pupils, obscuring his vision, and then everything went black.
call!
Zhou Xingdou suddenly opened his eyes, his breathing rapid, and sat up from the throne with a "whoosh!" He hurriedly touched his body.
Thankfully, it's still there.
This made Stephen Chow breathe a sigh of relief, but he could still feel a slight pain in the back of his neck.
Before Zhou Xingdou could even rub his aching neck, Tian Jiu'er's voice rang in his ears:
Is it still sweet?
Stephen Chow immediately shivered:
"It's not sweet anymore, it's not sweet anymore."
But as he spoke, Stephen Chow began to sound a little aggrieved:
"Just tell me nicely, why did you hit me? I'm most afraid of pain."
But what she received in return was Tian Jiu'er's cold reprimand:
"Then why did you risk your life to chase after that Shenzhou? If your father hadn't had a backup plan, I wouldn't have been able to save you in time!"
Zhou Xingdou was slightly taken aback, and the pain in the back of his neck seemed to lessen a bit. He now understood that Tian Jiu'er had come to see him because she cared about him and was blaming him for putting himself in danger.
"I know I was wrong... I won't do it again next time."
