Chapter 6 Public Trial

What is the world?

It is the first bonfire lit in the wild plains, the most primitive power; it is the iron cavalry that expands the territory on the battlefield and the frontier, the belief in the king's tyranny; it is the vast river that nourishes the towns and villages on both sides of the river, the civilization carved by time.

When great virtue is practiced, the world becomes common to all.

For thousands of practitioners, if they can climb to the top of the sea and look into the distance, they can be said to be looking down on the world!

The world is vast and is divided into five continents: East, West, South, North, and Center. There are many sects and various Taoist methods.

And ever since a man became a saint two hundred years ago, only Cangya Mountain in Xilu has been the undisputed number one in the world.

From then on, there was a saying that "one mountain, three sects, two Buddhist temples, and twelve palaces of the devil."

Everyone knows that as long as the Sword Master is alive, this situation will remain as solid as a rock.

One person is enough to influence the world's situation.

The mountains stretch for hundreds of miles, with vast clouds and kites flying and cranes crying. The six peaks of Cangya have different shapes and spirits. Some are strange and majestic, some are magnificent and beautiful, and some are quiet and remote.

The spiritual practitioners are headed by Xi Ganfeng, while the martial practitioners are headed by Xi Huafeng.

There is a big event in Cangya Mountain today.

Because of this event, the Qinghe Hall on the main peak, Xigan Peak, was no longer empty as usual. From the outside of the hall to the square, it was packed with people, shoulder to shoulder, looking forward to it.

Many disciples got up early before dawn just to get a front seat.

The disciples wearing Cangya's Taoist robes had different expressions. Some of them whispered to each other, but they kept their voices down and didn't dare to make any noise.

There were only a handful of people in the temple.

The vast hall had almost no edge, and was paved with five-foot-square jade bricks, like a whole smooth mirror. The hall had a high and wide roof, and twenty huge white jade beams and pillars that could be hugged by three people were arranged on both sides of the hall, with relief patterns of scattered water and clouds carved on them.

At the end of the hall there are six sandalwood armchairs.

In the middle, in the west, sat an old man with white hair and beard, his face solemn and imposing without anger. Behind him stood a pretty girl in pink.

In the middle east was a young man with a cold face and a heroic woman standing behind him.

These are the people from Xigan Peak and Xihua Peak.

On both sides, there were two seats for the other four peak masters, followed by several disciples they brought with them.

There were still dozens of people standing in the hall, and a young man in brocade clothes was in a stalemate with ten disciples wearing Cangya Taoist robes.

"How can we convict someone before the matter has been thoroughly investigated?"

"Why do we need to check? Isn't our personal experience enough to prove it?!"

The young man in brocade clothes waved his folding fan and said, "Oh, according to what you said, the headmaster, my eldest brother, all the peak masters, and all the brothers and sisters have come here for nothing. After all the hard work of mobilizing so many troops, the public trial is just a sham."

He was fighting ten with one, yet he remained calm and composed. After just a few exchanges, he had left the dozen disciples speechless and at a loss for words.

The first old man sitting upright couldn't help but frown.

For some unknown reason, there was a sudden cry in front of the hall, and all the whispers stopped abruptly.

Among the disciples who were surrounding them in a dense crowd, they spontaneously made way for them.

The people arguing in the hall seemed to have noticed something and turned around to look.

The young man in black robe and white hair walked closer step by step. He crossed the tall and wide palace door with a cold expression and a look that showed neither joy nor sadness.

Everyone gasped.

The hall was silent for a moment.

Yin Biyue was surrounded by people and resisted the urge to roar.

What are you looking at! What happened to the hair color Xiangfei? !

Shamatte Xiuzhen boys also need respect! Do you understand? !

"Junior brother, your hair..."

When he entered the hall, he met Liu Qishuang's worried eyes and could only explain, "I'm fine." After thinking for a while, he added, "Don't worry, Senior Sister."

...But why does this look make me even more worried!

Suddenly an old voice was heard, "Yin Biyue, the fourth disciple of Xihua Peak of Cangya Mountain!"

Like the ringing of a bell in an empty mountain, the echo continues.

His mind suddenly focused, and when he raised his eyes abruptly, he saw the old man in the first seat on the west side, his eyes were as fast as lightning and shooting straight at him!

A master in the Mahayana realm, even if his pressure is not restrained at all, still carries the power to shock people.

The memory of the original body flashed through his mind, the leader Zheng Yangzi.

He saluted straight, "Disciple is here!"

"On the seventh day of last month, thirty-two disciples testified and appealed that you set up the killing array 'Mars Guarding the Heart' in the Purple Mansion Secret Realm, intending to kill your fellow disciples. Do you have anything to say?"

Yin Biyue glanced at everyone in the hall.

Although it is a public trial, those with little influence naturally have no seat.

Except for his nominal master, the six peak masters were all there, with their respective trusted disciples.

The expression may be indifferent or disdainful.

A young man sat in his master's seat, his eyes were cold and he could not tell whether he was happy or angry. The words "Senior Brother Jun Yu" flashed through his mind. And Liu Qishuang, who was standing behind the young man, had a look of worry on her face.

Closer to him were ten disciples wearing Cangya Taoist robes, staring at him angrily. They were probably ten representatives of the thirty-two people who were in danger in the secret realm.

As for the elegant young man in brocade clothes, he was still calm and composed. The original body's memory had not yet reflected his identity.

Yin Biyue was panicked for a moment. Where was Luo Mingchuan? Where did Luo Mingchuan go?

Zheng Yangzi frowned.

The boy said indifferently, "No."

This is an admission of guilt.

This sentence made many people breathe a sigh of relief as if the situation had been decided, and some even snorted.

"What is your motive for doing this? Do you have any hardship? Are you deceived or obeying someone else's orders? Such a serious crime should result in your cultivation being abolished, and you should not be allowed to enter Cangya again in this life. Do you understand?"

Yin Biyue was anxious. Zheng Yangzi's questioning attitude was obviously just for show. His explanation was not credible and there was not enough evidence.

That memory was too vague, and he could only make up a lot of loopholes if he made up an excuse, so he just kept his character and said no. Now it was too late to play the role of bearing humiliation, so the next best thing was to cry and repent...

The young man in brocade clothes closed his folding fan and took a few steps forward to block him.

Yin Biyue looked at the man again.

In the solemn and dignified Cang Ya, it was really strange. He was wearing a long robe with clusters of autumn moon crabapple flowers, a brocade green jade belt around his waist, and a purple gold pearl crown on his head.

It is clearly a slightly flashy outfit, but when he wears it, it does not look vulgar, but rather looks naturally noble.

When the memory flashed through his mind, Yin Biyue's mouth almost twitched.

Apart from resentment towards the protagonist, the original body has no extra feelings towards anyone else.

The only names I remembered were "Senior Brother Jun Yu" and "Second Senior Sister Liu Qishuang", but when it came to this person...

There is actually a definition!!

"Chatty, Fifth Junior Brother, Duan Chongxuan."

When did Xihua Peak have such a unique attribute!

However, I didn't expect that my original body had never spoken a word to this person, but now he was willing to help him.

Duan Chongxuan was about to say something, but unexpectedly someone spoke faster than him.

"Wait a minute!"

Everyone looked back.

A handsome young man in a plain Taoist robe, with long hair loose and a resolute look, walked in with a sword in hand.

There was an uproar inside and outside the hall.

"This... Senior Brother Luo!"

"Why are you carrying a sword...are you going to punish that Yin guy personally?"

"I don't think she looks like this."

Zheng Yangzi frowned fiercely. The pink-dressed girl behind him exclaimed.

Yin Biyue watched Luo Mingchuan walk into the hall and passed by him without even glancing at him.

Good job! I'm counting on you to assist!

Luo Mingchuan walked until he was ten steps away from Zheng Yangzi, and knelt heavily, with a muffled sound on the blue bricks.

He spoke loudly, "Disciple has something to say!"

Everyone was shocked by this sudden change.

Zheng Yangzi's eyebrows suddenly jumped.

With his cultivation level, he could see into the secrets of the heavens and even had a keen premonition of what was going to happen. He didn't know what Luo Mingchuan was going to say, but his intuition told him that this was definitely out of control.

A very bad premonition.

Without hesitation, he shouted, "Shut up! You have no right to speak!"

Luo Mingchuan kowtowed hard and was about to speak.

Zhengyang Ziqing shouted, "Stop talking!"

As soon as the words fell, the kneeling prince suddenly lost his voice.

Yin Biyue lowered his head silently.

The protagonist, you are trying too hard. Don't react so violently. If you just stand up and say a few soft words to plead for mercy, the master who treats you as his own son will certainly give you face...

The air outside the hall was like boiling water, and countless disciples rushed to look inside.

"Hey! Why is Senior Brother Luo kneeling down?"

"No, no, no, you're blocking me..."

The disciples of the Law Enforcement Hall who were guarding the palace gate tried to stop the people in a panic.

Countless pairs of eyes in the hall fell on the head master Zheng Yangzi and Luo Mingchuan.

Many people were secretly shocked. What was the intention of the leader's action? Luo Mingchuan clearly had something to say. Could there be another hidden story behind this?

Looking at the young man who was the head of Xihua Peak, he still had a blank expression on his face, and it was hard to tell whether he was happy or angry.

Zheng Yangzi took a deep breath and waved his hand, "The review results will be announced tomorrow, and I will give you an explanation. All the peak masters and Xihua Peak disciples can stay, and the rest can disperse."

This attitude clearly shows that they want to talk behind closed doors.

The disciples standing behind the peak masters tactfully withdrew one after another.

The few people who had just argued with Duan Chongxuan looked at Luo Mingchuan who was kneeling in the hall. One of them walked out and said, "We believe in Senior Brother Luo!" and then left.

Duan Chongxuan stood back behind Jun Yu. The law enforcement disciples dispersed the spectators outside the hall. The tall and wide hall door slammed shut with a muffled sound, isolating the two worlds inside and outside the hall.

The noise outside the palace gradually faded away. All kinds of speculation and discussion finally died down.

Yin Biyue looked at them one by one.

What remains now is probably the core of power and strength of the entire Cangya.

But the protagonist is really popular. Those disciples don’t say they believe in the master, or believe in Xi Huafeng, they only say they believe in Luo Mingchuan. Tsk tsk.

His cheap fellow disciples were really amazing. None of them went out. Even the little Taoist boy didn’t move at all… Oh, that seemed to be the sword-holding boy of his senior brother Jun Yu?

Zheng Yangzi lifted the gag order and asked in a deep voice, "What do you want to say?"

Luo Mingchuan knelt in the hall and looked back.

The jade bricks reflected the tall figure of the young man, with thin lips slightly pursed, white hair and cold eyes.

My troubled mood has inexplicably calmed down these days.

No matter what the outcome, he knew he would not regret it.

Everyone in the hall heard the resounding words,

"Disciple is willing to take the punishment for Junior Brother Yin!"
