Chapter 148 Eating Crayfish Again

Nan Zhi excitedly ran outside, picked up Song Hanyan, and spun him around.

This caused Zhou Chang to cough frequently.

Lin Jiaxiang's eyes widened as he pointed at Nanzhi, "She, she, she."

Nan Chunxian calmly pressed his hand down.

Lin Jiaxiang: "No, didn't you guys see it?"

Nan Chungu looked up: "Brother Lin, of course we saw it."

"Then why aren't you surprised?"

Nan Chungu turned around and glanced at him: "What's there to be surprised about? You won't be surprised anymore."

Lin Jiaxiang knew there was a story behind it, so he stepped forward and said, "Tell me about it."

Nan Chungu: "Why don't you ask my brother?"

Lin Jiaxiang pursed his lips. Nan Chunxian was only a teenager, but he was too mature for his age. Seeing him reminded Lin Jiaxiang of his own father.

He pulled Nan Chungu close with one arm and said, "Tell me carefully, and I'll share half of the peach shortbread I brought tomorrow with you."

Nan Chungu is still young, so he likes these little things, especially sweet ones.

Before long, he confessed everything.

"So amazing!" Lin Jiaxiang exclaimed in surprise and admiration.

“Of course,” Nan Chungu straightened his back, “So many wolves, and my sister strung them up like candied hawthorns and pulled them all back from the mountain all by herself. My sister is the most amazing.”

Lin Jiaxiang nodded in admiration.

Even adult men can't beat wolves, yet Nan Zhi managed to fight so many wolves head-on and emerge unscathed. She's a real man.

No, she's a shrew.

Hmm, that doesn't seem to be the right way to describe it.

So, Song Hanyan's weight really isn't a big deal.

It's at best an appetizer.

Being picked up didn't make Song Hanyan feel ashamed; in fact, she felt proud.

Whose wife is as strong and considerate as Zhizhi?

Answer: No!

Nanzhi immediately led her people to her rice paddy.

Beneath the lush rice paddies, crawled red creatures with pincers.

Nan Chungu was the first to recognize it. "Sister, the thing in the water is from the river. It's the crayfish you mentioned before."

Nanzhi nodded and went down to the field to pick one up.

Nan Chungu hurriedly said, "Sister, be careful his pliers don't pinch people."

He had been caught in this thing before when he secretly went into the river, but because he was afraid that his grandma would find out that he had secretly gone into the river, he pretended that he was fine even though he was injured.

It hurts a lot if this thing pinches you.

Nan Zhi: "When catching crayfish, remember to grab them by their backs, like I am, pinching both sides. That way you won't get pinched by their claws."

Nan Chungu suddenly realized that this was another way to do it.

"But how did you know, sister?"

My sister rarely comes to the riverbank, including the last time we caught crayfish together. Judging from how skilled she was, it didn't seem like it was her first time.

Nanzhi hesitated for a moment, then said, "Because my sister is smart."

Nan Chungu nodded; his sister was indeed smarter than them.

Fortunately, Nanchun Valley was small, so Nanzhi could easily deceive him.

Seeing Song Hanyan's lips curl slightly, Nanzhi immediately made a "shh" gesture.

"Big sister, big sister!" Lin Jiaxiang ran over.

Nanzhi straightened up: "Who's your older sister!"

Lin Jiaxiang glanced at Song Hanyan on the shore, "Brother-in-law, I'm recognizing Nanzhi as my sister, what do you think?"

Song Hanyan's tightly furrowed brows relaxed slightly as he looked at Nanzhi, who was happily catching flowers in the field and in Nanchun Valley.

"As long as Zhizhi agrees, I have no objection."

Lin Jiaxiang was unexpectedly fed another dose of PDA, and although he wanted to scold them, he didn't have the guts.

I simply took off my shoes and joined them in the catch.

The paddy field was deep; after taking off my shoes and socks, the water was just above my calves.

Lin Jiaxiang carefully moved forward until he reached Nanzhi's side.

He fawned over her and said, "Big sister, do you need a younger brother?"

Nanzhi turned around: "Do you think I look like I'm missing a younger brother?"

Nan Chungu caught a basket of crayfish and boasted, "Sister, I've caught a whole basket!"

As far as he knew, Nanzhi had three younger brothers. Besides the two in the family with the surname Nan, she seemed to have adopted another younger brother.

But it's alright, the Lin family won't give up on him. As long as he does a good job, he'll definitely be taken in as a subordinate.

Looking at the crayfish wriggling in the basket, Young Master Lin really couldn't bring himself to eat them.

Nan Chungu covered her mouth and laughed, "You can't even catch crayfish, what use are you to your sister?"

It has to be said that these words really struck a chord with Nan Zhi, who gave Nan Chungu an approving look.

Despite his discomfort, Lin Jiaxiang reached his hand into the water.

"Ah! Help! It bit me!"

Everyone looked up and saw Lin Jiaxiang with his arms crossed, a mantis shrimp perched on his fingertip.

Nan Chungu couldn't help but start laughing, "Hahahaha."

Nanzhi stepped forward and quickly took the crayfish off.

There were no wounds on the fingers, and no medication was needed.

"My sister just showed me how to catch it, but I still can't learn it. I'm so stupid."

The young master refused to believe in superstition and kept trying to catch it, getting bitten several times in a row.

My skin is thick and tough; my hands didn't get broken even after several attempts.

Nanzhi simply let him be.

Go ahead and clamp it; it's not like she's the one getting clamped.

The group quickly caught a lot of crayfish, and at that moment Nanqun came over after hearing the noise.

"Zhizhi, what's going on here?"

Nan Chungu picked up the basket and said, "Dad, look, we caught so many crayfish."

"Oh, so that's what it is."

Nanzhi asked in confusion, "Does Uncle know him?"

Nan Qun: "I caught some when I saw them in the river. I have to say, since we started raising these little creatures, there have been far fewer insects in the rice paddies."

It turns out it was my uncle's doing.

Nan Chungu: "Dad, this is edible. My sister makes it so delicious."

Nanzhi pulled Nanqun aside, "Uncle, raise more of them, these things can fetch a good price."
