The beast was still puzzled. "Then why not just let them stay by their master's side forever?"
Nanzhi shook her head, unwilling to explain anything.
The child is too young to understand the dangers of the world; I understand.
The man and the beast continued forward.
"Master, I can't see up anymore," the treasure beast complained.
The dense vegetation and the low-growing nature of the mythical beasts made them easily obstructed from view.
Nanzhi looked down and felt that the vegetation under her feet was somewhat familiar.
Paris polyphylla.
"This is... Chonglou!"
An alarm bell rang in Nanzhi's heart.
"Master, what's wrong?" the treasure beast asked, puzzled.
Nanzhi grabbed the treasure beast by the neck and ran to the side.
“There must be venomous snakes around the area of Paris polyphylla, especially in such a large area.”
Several brightly colored venomous snakes silently crawled past the spot where they had just been.
"Big, big, big worm!" The treasure beast pointed with its claws.
With its dark eyes and a forked tongue, it blocked their way, standing over two meters long.
As it moves, it's easy to see that the snake's mouth is black.
Nanzhi picked up the treasure beast and took a step back. Her first impression of this snake was that it was not to be trifled with.
"Cherry, quickly help me find out what kind of snake this is!"
After Cherry conducted a thorough examination, she said, "I've found it, Master, it's a black mamba."
The name "Black Mamba" sounded familiar to Nan Zhi.
Thinking of something, Nanzhi picked up the treasure beast and ran away.
“Isn’t this thing in Africa? How did it get here!” Nanzhi shouted as she ran.
The precious beast in her arms was so dizzy from being shaken by Nanzhi that it became quite disoriented.
"Master, it's just a snake. Why are we running?"
Nan Zhi: "A little bit of poison can kill a cow, you go ahead and take it!"
She threw the treasure beast to the ground and continued running.
The beast probably didn't expect to be abandoned by its master, so it quickly swung its four paws and ran forward.
