Chapter 10 Relieving Stress and Focusing the Mind

This person must have been in the cafeteria at noon today and witnessed the whole thing.

But in the staff cafeteria, there are so many people from the same office that it's hard to guess.

The words left on that little note caught Yao Yao's attention.

These two sentences, seemingly out of concern, actually carry a hint of smugness.

The only person she could think of who fit this persona was Lin Congzhi, the newly appointed official.

Then she asked in surprise, "Could this Wanglaoji herbal tea have been a gift from Lin Congzhi?"

“At first I also thought it was from him, but the handwriting was definitely not his,” Jiang Yimei replied with absolute certainty.

"Who could it be? Could it be that someone has a crush on you again?" Yao Yao asked with a playful smile, leaning closer.

Her best friend has been secretly admired by someone in the same company more than once, twice; so such a possibility exists.

Jiang Yimei felt like her thoughts had been caught. She shyly picked up the milk tea next to her, turned her head away arrogantly at a 45-degree angle, and said, "I don't know about this."

Yao Yao took in that non-aggressive, smug smile, and then, as if afraid the world wasn't chaotic enough, praised, "Our Yi Yi is just so outstanding. Wherever she goes, bees flock to her."

"Alright, alright, let's not talk about this anymore, let's talk about something else."

"Um!"

That evening, after taking a shower and applying a face mask, Jiang Yimei lay in bed, staring quietly at the ceiling, lost in thought.

What happened today was so "shocking" that it almost scared her to death.

The man who had once disappeared without her consent has barged back into her life, catching her off guard and leaving her bewildered.

Whether it's a blessing or a curse, she doesn't know; she only prays that this person won't bother her or affect her life.

"Hoping for a better tomorrow."

After reciting the mantra, I drifted off to sleep peacefully...

The next day, she arrived at the company early.

While it may not be more than 90% of the employees, it is certainly more than 70%.

There were only a few scattered people in the office, all of whom were notorious workaholics, so it wasn't surprising that they arrived earlier than her.

After letting out a sigh of self-reproach, she composed herself and headed to her cubicle.

When she arrived at her cubicle and was about to sit down, another unbelievable scene unfolded.

There was something that wasn't hers on her computer desk; unlike yesterday, today it was a cup of tea.

The cup is a disposable paper cup with nothing special on it.

This tea is not made from ordinary tea leaves, but rather from carefully brewed medicinal herbs.

Looking down into the cup, you can see some different kinds of medicinal herbs.

Jiang Yimei became increasingly curious about who this person was, given how much effort and thought went into it.

Moving the cup aside, she found a small, folded white note.

Opening the note, there was another line of black text that read: "Relieve stress and calm your mind."

Besides these eight characters, the prescription and brewing method for this tea are also included, showing meticulous attention to detail.

Holding the small note that had been carefully crafted, Jiang Yimei scanned her surroundings with a curious gaze.

The male colleagues who arrive at the office early either have girlfriends or wives. Although there are a few single men, based on her understanding of them, these men don't seem interested in her.

She checked them one by one, but couldn't find a single suspicious person, which made her feel frustrated.
