Chapter 113 The Man Who Made the Move

Brute force cannot solve problems; wisdom is key.

With evidence in hand, the female saleswoman wasn't afraid of Yao Yao's pretentious attitude at all.

In addition, fighting in front of the store would damage the store's reputation, so she wouldn't act rashly.

She just wanted to reclaim the rights that the store was entitled to, so she took the floral chiffon dress that Jiang Yimei had just changed out of and came to Yao Yao, saying reasonably, "The chain on the dress is broken, you need to pay for it right away! Or you can replace the dress."

Jiang Yimei's brow furrowed in disbelief: "It's broken? That's impossible! It was perfectly fine when I changed it just now."

"If you don't believe me, see for yourself!"

The saleswoman shoved the chiffon dress into Jiang Yimei's hands, forcing her to look at it.

Jiang Yimei didn't waste any words and personally inspected the area.

She tried pulling on the chain behind her back, but found that she really couldn't pull it up.

What should we do now?

Seeing Yi Yi looking flustered and anxious, Yao Yao immediately snatched the dress and shoved it into the saleswoman's hands, saying matter-of-factly, "The chain is broken, who knows if it's part of your scheme?"

The saleswoman felt innocent and even more disgusted by Yao Yao's unfounded speculation: "In the past few days, only she has tried on this dress. If she didn't break it, who did? Besides, even if I were incredibly capable, could I break the chain in just a few seconds and then frame her?"

"Some people who commit crimes frequently don't even want to last ten seconds, let alone ten seconds."

Yao Yao sneered, unmoved.

"you!"

The saleswoman was once again so angry that her face turned ashen, and she felt an urge to hit someone.

Yao Yao, always eager to stir up trouble, continued her sarcastic remarks: "What do you mean, 'what do you mean, 'I'? Isn't that right?'"

The saleswoman couldn't swallow this insult, so she immediately raised her hand and slapped him hard.

Yao Yao kept a close eye on the female salesperson's movements. When she saw the salesperson raise her hand to slap her, she immediately raised her hand to grab the salesperson's hand.

Jiang Yimei, standing behind her, was filled with fear, worried that something might happen to Yaoyao, and also tried to stop her.

Just as the two were trying to resolve the crisis, a large hand suddenly appeared from behind Yao Yao, faster than both Yao Yao and Jiang Yimei.

Staring at the enormous hand that suddenly appeared out of nowhere, Jiang Yimei and Yaoyao were dumbfounded, not knowing whose it was, let alone who would be so righteous as to save them.

Following the arm of that large hand, they suddenly spotted a man who seemed both unfamiliar and familiar.

Jiang Yimei felt no sense of unfamiliarity with this man; the one who felt unfamiliar was Yao Yao, because apart from seeing Lin Congzhi in high school, she had never seen this man again.

Seven years is enough time to shape a person. It's understandable that Yao Yao felt somewhat unfamiliar with him; not to mention her, even Jiang Yimei almost didn't recognize Lin Congzhi when they first met.

The man who made the move was so handsome that Yao Yao lingered, drooling.

If she could win over this handsome and high-quality man, she would have no regrets in this life.

The man who made the move ignored the two women's astonishment and stared coldly at the saleswoman he had caught on the spot: "Since when can waiters hit customers at will? Is this a case of a big store bullying its customers?"

Staring at the tall, aloof man in a suit, the saleswoman was momentarily infatuated and couldn't utter a single word.

The domineering attitude and anger from before have all vanished, leaving only admiration.
