Chapter 21 I Don't Like You Anymore

Yao Yao sent a string of thumbs-up emojis, expressing her utmost admiration.

Upon seeing this message, Jiang Yimei rolled her eyes and then replied irritably, "Yaoyao, don't talk nonsense. It's not what you think."

"So what exactly is it?"

"I'll tell you slowly when we get back."

"Are you sure we don't need to call the police?"

"If you haven't returned by 10 o'clock, please call the police for me."

"good!"

After giving her instructions, Jiang Yimei breathed a sigh of relief and immediately resumed her work.

She finished getting both things out before eight o'clock and then went to Lin Congzhi's office.

"Tap tap!"

"Tap tap!"

After knocking twice, a magnetic voice came from inside the room: "Come in!"

Jiang Yimei pushed open the door and entered, and what came into view was that familiar, handsome, and serious working appearance.

Previously, she was completely captivated by his earnest and charming work ethic, often watching him from his desk, secretly observing him from outside the classroom, or pretending to peek as if she were just passing by.

She used to be so foolish, spending all her time circling around this ancient iceberg. Now, she would never do that again.

She placed the letter of self-criticism and the week's business report on Lin Congzhi's desk, then said to him, "Please..."

But before she could even speak, the icy man in front of her retorted without any kindness, "I don't like making noise when I'm working!"

Jiang Yimei knew the intelligent Lin Congzhi and guessed what she was going to talk about.

Even if Lin Congzhi tries to avoid it, she still has to make things clear: "Even if you're angry today, I still have to make it clear to you that I don't like you anymore. Please show some respect in the future and don't bother me anymore."

"Did I harass you?" Lin Congzhi asked dismissively, as if he had heard the biggest joke in the world.

Jiang Yimei showed no respect to the proud Lin Congzhi and revealed the truth: "Don't think I don't know that you were the one who sent Wanglaoji and Ningxin Anshen Tea. Your little tricks can't fool me now that I've grown up."

Lin Congzhi then casually remarked, "It seems women really can't be relied on."

Jiang Yimei knew who Lin Congzhi was talking about. Xiaotong was her good friend, and she wouldn't let Xiaotong get hurt: "Don't blame others for your mistakes. If you're a man, have the courage to take responsibility."

Even when refuted to the point of being utterly humiliated, Lin Congzhi remained unmoved: "You haven't eaten all afternoon, yet you still have this much energy, not bad."

"You don't need to make sarcastic remarks here."

Jiang Yimei crossed her arms, transforming into a fearless young warrior.

"snort!"

Lin Congzhi chuckled and said nothing more.

Seeing this, Jiang Yimei, not wanting to stay a second longer, blurted out her words in one breath: "I'm warning you, Lin Congzhi, if you dare to harass me again, I will report this to the general manager. If you get fired, don't blame me for being ruthless."

Lin Congzhi chuckled as always, ignoring him completely.

Jiang Yimei really didn't want to see this arrogant guy who ignored everyone else's words, so she turned around and left.

"Tap tap tap!"

After taking a few steps, a cold, extremely dissatisfied voice pounced from behind like a prehistoric tiger: "Did I say you could leave?"

Jiang Yimei stopped in her tracks and asked in a firm tone, "What else do you want to do?"

"I haven't read your self-criticism and work report yet, you're not allowed to leave," Lin Congzhi replied in a commanding tone.
