Jiang Yimei chased Yao Yao all the way outside the store before finally catching up with her as she stormed off.
She grabbed Yao Yao's hand, not letting Yao Yao leave.
Filled with rage, Yao Yao didn't care about anything else and forcefully shook off her hand: "Let go, I don't want to have anything to do with you anymore. Do whatever you want, be fooled if you want."
"Yaoyao, can you not be so extreme?" Jiang Yimei grabbed Yaoyao's hand again and persuaded her, "I admit that I was wrong just now and I frightened you, but even if you are dissatisfied with Jiang Ze, you should not say such hurtful things in front of him. This is the most basic etiquette between people. Only by respecting each other can we live in harmony."
"What did I do wrong? Did I say something wrong? Can't I just speak my mind? Why do I have to pretend like that?" Yao Yao said excitedly, "Let me tell you, if he treats you well, I don't mind calling him brother or even brother-in-law. But if he hurts you, even if he's my friend, I'll still find it disgusting."

Yao Yao retorted without hesitation: "A person who truly loves you will not scold you, not care about you, or disregard your current financial situation, no matter how poor, how irritable, or how busy they are."
Jiang Yimei disagreed: "That's true, but there's no such thing as fairytale love in the world. Reality has its cruelties, and we should learn to accept it, learn to be tolerant, and learn to be understanding."
"Alright, since you want to play the role of Huang Gai, I won't stop you. Let's leave it at that."
After sighing, Yao Yao set off to leave.
Staring at her sad and disappointed back, Jiang Yimei frowned and asked, "So are you angry or not?"
Yao Yao stopped in her tracks, turning her back to Jiang Yimei: "As long as you don't regret it, I won't be angry; but if you do regret it, I'll be furious."
Jiang Yimei's tense face finally broke into a smile: "Don't worry, I chose this path myself, and I won't regret it."
"I hope so!"
After saying that, Yao Yao left alone.
Yao Yao is an adult, and Jiang Yimei believes she can take good care of herself, so she doesn't chase after her and arranges everything.
It's rare for Jiang Ze to come to see her, so she wants to cherish this night and spend it well with him.
After paying the bill, Jiang Ze left the hot pot restaurant.
Jiang Yimei was about to go back when she saw Jiang Ze come out, carrying her bag. She couldn't help but ask, "Have you paid the bill?"
