Chapter 639 I Like Bees

She instinctively grabbed Gao Jiakai's hand, pulled him into the house, and closed the door.

All the actions were completed in a short time. By the time Gao Jiakai realized what was happening, he had already been pulled into Yao Yao's boudoir.

Standing in the girl's house, his cheeks instantly turned as red as cherries, and he stood there feeling uneasy.

After dodging the pink things around him, he lowered his head, feeling both confused and annoyed: "Why did you pull me in here?"

Gao Jiakai, this shy guy, is really embarrassed.

There's nothing in her room, so what's there to be embarrassed about?

Perhaps this is how a guinea pig in matters of the heart reacts to a room with someone of the opposite sex. Yao Yao didn't want to laugh at him, so she replied, "There was a bee behind you just now."

"Is there?"

Gao Jiakai thought that Yaoyao had deliberately brought him in, and if there was a reason for it, then he was overthinking it.

Yao Yao pointed to the door: "Listen, there are still sounds outside."

Gao Jiakai leaned closer to the door, listened for a moment, and discovered that there really was the sound of bees.

In other words, Yao Yao brought him in in order to save him.

He got angry at the wrong person.

Yao Yao was trying to help him out of kindness, and he should thank her; it's the most basic courtesy: "Thank you!"

Yao Yao replied shyly, "You're welcome."

The atmosphere was rather awkward, especially since the two of them were so close together.

Gao Jiakai quickly changed the subject, asking, "Do you have any books here?"

Yao Yao asked, puzzled, "What do you need this for?"

Gao Jiakai said without any room for doubt, "Of course we'll kill this bee."

Normally, Yao Yao wouldn't have thought there was anything wrong with this approach, but now that the white mouse had been caught in a cage, how could she easily let it go? So she feigned kindness: "Oh? You're so cruel?"

Gao Jiakai was stunned and couldn't understand: "What's so cruel about that? If it wants to bite me, can't I hit it?"

Yao Yao pouted and replied, "That's what they say, but didn't your teacher teach you to cherish flowers, trees, and everything in this world?"

Gao Jiakai: "Then you might as well not eat at all."

Knowing she felt a little guilty saying this, Yao Yao lowered her head, softened her voice, and pleaded coquettishly, "Could you... promise me... not to hit it?"

Gao Jiakai frowned: "Why?"

Yao Yao replied, "Because... I like bees."

Gao Jiakai was astonished: "No way, you like this kind of thing?"

Yao Yao insisted on explaining, "Bees help pollinate flowers; they are an important part of nature, and I like these constructive insects."

Gao Jiakai: "..."

I'm increasingly convinced that Yao Yao did this with a purpose.

Actually, you don't have to kill the bee, as long as it goes out.

"Okay, I promise you."

Yao Yao looked up at Gao Jiakai with a face full of surprise and asked, "Really?"

Gao Jiakai met her gaze from her large, watery eyes and nodded firmly: "Yes!"

"That's wonderful! I knew you were the best and most loving man in the world!"

Yao Yao cheered with excitement and almost rushed over to hug Gao Jiakai.

After Yao Yao finished having her fun, Gao Jiakai changed the subject: "If there's nothing else, I'll head out now."

Yao Yao's smile vanished abruptly, and she said gravely, "There are bees outside."

Kao Chia-kai: "As long as I ignore it, it will pay attention to me."

Yao Yao threatened, "Bees are very fierce."
