As she thought about it, Yao Yao's mood soared.
That feeling was like gaining the whole world, an immense joy.
When she moved her hand just now, she touched a nerve with Gao Jiakai.
Feeling something prying at him, Gao Jiakai frowned, then opened his sleepy, tired eyes.
He went to bed very late last night and wasn't feeling well. Now his eyelids feel like they're weighing ten pounds; they feel heavy, tired, and sore.
He rubbed his temples, opened his eyes, and looked closely, only to see a little girl smiling sweetly.
The little girl woke up, but why was she smiling so happily?
Feeling her right hand become much lighter, Yao Yao turned her head to look at him, her eyes filled with the warmth of spring.
"What...are you laughing at?" Gao Jiakai asked, somewhat taken aback.
Yao Yao's face turned bright red, and she asked with a sweet smile, "Did you bring me back last night?"
Gao Jiakai nodded, completely bewildered: "Hmm!"
"Why...why did you send me back?" Yao Yao asked shyly.
The issue was already quite obvious. To avoid any unnecessary misunderstandings, Gao Jiakai explained seriously, "It's normal to bring you back when I see you're drunk."
Yao Yao pressed further, "Then how did you know I was drunk?"
She still believed that Gao Jiakai was interested in her, which was why he took such good care of her.
Kao Chia-kai: "Brother Lin knew where you were singing karaoke, so I found out."
Yao Yao asked in confusion, "Lin Congzhi? But I didn't see him."
She didn't see Lin Congzhi all night, until she got drunk. How could Lin Congzhi know where they were?
Gao Jiakai patiently explained, "Brother Lin has been hiding outside, wanting to surprise Sister-in-law during the grand finale, but little did he know..."

"What do you mean?"
Yao Yao: "Because only this person could make Yi Yi so sad, and singing those sad love songs proves it even more."
Gao Jiakai shared the same sentiment: "This is consistent with our guess. My sister-in-law probably knows about the bad things Jiang Ze has been doing behind my back."
Yao Yao: "I've always been curious, what exactly is Jiang Ze doing?"
Since his sister-in-law already knows, it shouldn't be a big deal to announce it now. Gao Jiakai didn't hide anything and said, "He was involved in illegal pyramid schemes, but that's not the worst thing. The worst thing is that he was secretly having an affair behind his sister-in-law's back."

Yao Yao felt much more at ease.
