Chapter 156 Zhou Haoran and Xu Xiaoran's Wedding

Zhou Haoran waved his hand, muttering, "I'm fine, I'm not drunk. It's that guy Anan who drank too much."

Although his tone was somewhat unclear, a hint of pride still shone through his face.

Xu Xiaoran smiled helplessly and coaxed softly, "Well, of course you're not drunk, but some hangover soup will make you feel better. I'll go get a towel to wipe your face."

After saying that, Xu Xiaoran turned and walked to the kitchen, bringing out a bowl of steaming hot hangover soup.

She carefully fed Zhou Haoran the drink, then picked up a towel and gently wiped his face.

Zhou Haoran felt warm and content as he received Xu Xiaoran's attentive care.

He suddenly looked up, gazed sincerely at her, and said, "Wife, we're married. Are you happy?"

Xu Xiaoran smiled slightly, her eyes sparkling with tenderness and happiness, and softly replied, "I'm happy. I'm truly very happy to be able to marry you."

Upon hearing this, Zhou Haoran's face broke into a bright smile.

He gently stroked Xu Xiaoran's hair, his eyes filled with deep affection.

Xu Xiaoran smiled slightly, looking at Zhou Haoran with tenderness, her eyes revealing a sense of determination and satisfaction.

"I don't feel wronged. I think the timing is just right. We've all become more mature and clearer about what we want."

Before they knew it, the conversation had dwindled, but they didn't feel awkward or bored.

On the contrary, the quiet atmosphere made them feel incredibly comfortable and at ease.

Finally, they stopped talking and simply embraced each other quietly.
