A soft knock came at the door, and Huo Jinning stood up from her chair and went to open it.
"Ah Qi, is there something you need?" She opened the door and saw Fu Qinian standing there, and asked in surprise.
"I noticed you haven't eaten much today. Is the food not to your liking?" Fu Qinian looked up and asked Huo Jinning with concern.
"Oh, no! I just ate too much at noon and I'm not very hungry yet, so I ate less." Huo Jinning waved her hand awkwardly, trying to explain to him.
However, Fu Qinian keenly noticed Huo Jinning's low spirits and couldn't help but ask, "You seem a little unhappy."

As she spoke, she tried to force a smile, but the smile looked so forced that it was even more unsightly than crying.

"Doesn't Bai Ze have a girlfriend?" Huo Jinning frowned, a hint of doubt flashing in her eyes. "And do the two of them like each other?"
Fu Qinian knew that Huo Jinning didn't know much about Fu Nianchao and Bai Ze, so he explained in detail about Bai Ze's breakup with his girlfriend and the things between him and Fu Nianchao.
After listening to Fu Qinian's explanation, Huo Jinning's expression gradually softened.
She breathed a sigh of relief, her tone no longer as tense as before, "Oh, I see..."
