Chapter 5 Wei Jinning Returns Home (Part 2)

Huo Shan hung up the call with Zhao Qiuying and then quickly dialed Huo Nanchu's number.

"Boss, I have great news for you! We've finally found your little sister! Remember to come home early tonight, and don't forget to bring your lovely sister a gift."

Huo Shan didn't care whether Huo Nanchu could accept this sudden news all at once, but instead directly announced this exciting result.

At that moment, Huo Nanchu was sitting in a car on his way to another city, absentmindedly flipping through the documents in his hands. Hearing his father's words, he frowned and asked, "Dad, are you sure you're not mistaken? Where exactly did you find my sister?"

Huo Nanchu seemed somewhat suspicious of this sudden news.

After all, he had breakfast at home with Huo Shan that morning, so how could he receive such an unexpected notification at noon?

He secretly wondered if this was yet another imposter trying to curry favor with the powerful and squeeze into the Huo family.

Huo Nanchu was 28 years old, eight years older than Wei Jinning.

Since he was old enough to understand, his family had been searching for his long-lost sister, but twenty years had passed and there was still no news of her.

During this period, many people claimed to be his sister, but in the end, they were all just disappointing farces.

After experiencing so many setbacks and disappointments, the whole family has almost given up searching for their younger sister in recent years.

"How could I lie about this! I'm in Chunshi right now. Your sister and I are on a plane, and we'll be home in three hours."

“This time there’s absolutely no mistake. We specifically went to do a paternity test, and the results show that they are indeed biological father and daughter. Your sister is practically a carbon copy of your mother.”

"You'd better go home early today. If your sister gets a bad impression of you and never talks to you again, don't blame me for not warning you beforehand." Huo Shan said, glancing at Wei Jinning on the plane.

"Dad, is everything you said true?" Huo Nanchu's tone clearly conveyed his excitement.

"Alright, I've said everything I needed to say. You can decide what to do next. I still need to call the second and third brothers to let them know. That's all for now, I'm hanging up." Huo Shan hung up the phone without hesitation, completely unconcerned about the other party's reaction.

This treatment is indeed completely different for his son and his wife.

"Uncle Liu, could you please turn around up ahead and drive back?" Huo Nanchu quickly gave the driver the instruction.

Huo Nanchu was extremely excited at the thought that her long-lost younger sister had finally been found.

He secretly resolved that he must make a good impression on his sister.

Oh right, first I need to pick out some nice gifts for my sister, and I need to buy a lot to show my sincerity!

Huo Shan made several calls to Huo Zimo and Huo Chengyu, but no one answered.

It turned out that Huo Zimo was filming in the wilderness where there was no signal at all; Huo Chengyu was in a similar situation, also filming in the wilderness.

"I can't get through to your two older brothers on the phone. When they come back, they'll make it up to you," Huo Shan said helplessly.

However, Wei Jinning was very understanding: "The brothers are all busy with work, which is understandable."

She knew all too well how difficult it was to be a working person, so how could she not be considerate of her brothers?

[Speaking of my second brother, he's currently filming a TV series.]

[This drama is of great significance to him and is expected to further advance his career.]

Thinking of this, Wei Jinning couldn't help but feel genuinely happy.

[However, because of this film, my second brother met someone, which led to a series of regrettable events...]

[As for the third brother, he is currently having his photos taken for a geography magazine competition.]

The scenery was absolutely stunning, it's just a pity...

Thinking of this, Wei Jinning couldn't help but sigh softly.

[Second brother's matter isn't urgent; the most pressing issue right now is how to get third brother back as soon as possible. Wei Jinning pondered this to herself, her heart filled with worry for her third brother.]

"How come this girl seems to know everything?" Huo Shan thought to himself, looking at his daughter's thoughtful expression. "I don't think I've ever told her exactly what the family members do..."

"Ningning! Let me introduce you to your family. Your mother has her own jewelry company, but now it's managed by your eldest brother. The Huo Group is also managed by your eldest brother."

"Your mother and I often go out for a stroll when we have nothing else to do."

"Your second brother is an actor, but he never does anything productive."

[Dad, I think you have a misunderstanding of what it means to be idle or not do proper work.]

Acting is a respectable profession. I used to be an actor myself.

“Dad is wrong. I didn’t say that your second brother is not doing his job properly as an actor. It’s just that your second brother doesn’t film properly every few days, so I said he is not doing his job properly.”

[It seems Dad is quite open-minded.]

[Dad, that's great!]

Thank goodness I heard my daughter's thoughts, otherwise I would have left a bad impression on her.

It's not that your dad is enlightened, it's that he's driven by a survival instinct.

Huo Shan steadied himself and continued, "And your third brother is a photographer."

"Finally, there's your sister, whom I was just talking to on the phone. She was adopted by your mother and me, and she's currently a junior in college."

[Let's be lenient with her for her sake! Let her be the older sister if she wants!]
