Chapter 3 Endless Purgatory

"I heard from Hongnu that he didn't run for long. We can still catch up with him now!"

"I think he must have run outside! Arrange more people to search for him, so he doesn't get away!"

"I have to check the way up the mountain to see if it's the way up!"

"There are two more trails, arrange for someone to check them out!"

The quiet village suddenly became lively.

It seemed as if the entire village had stood up to help with the search.

Sui Yuzhu's body began to tremble even more.

This village is so small that if you shout at one end of the village, you can hear it at the other end.

Every household knows each other, and strangers entering the village are easily recognized.

Moreover, interpersonal relationships are also very simple, helping relatives instead of others.

They have not received any education and do not know that human trafficking is illegal. They do not care whether you were abducted or not, they only know to help their own people.

For a moment, Sui Yuzhu wondered if she could really run away.

She was an unfamiliar place, and anyone from the village who saw her might arrest her.

Afterwards, she quickly cheered up and decided to give it a try, no matter if she could run out or not!

You definitely can’t get out without trying!

However, at this moment she was still hiding here and not moving.

Most people would think that she had run away and would not have thought that she was still hiding in the village.

Everyone in the village went out to look for her, but it was not as safe outside as here.

She would come out again at night when they had rested.

Her breathing had gradually calmed down and she continued to curl up in the corner.

There are no street lights in the village, so no one will notice this place.

Even if someone noticed it, they wouldn't be able to tell there was someone hiding there without strong light.

It was not until the second half of the night that the searching crowd gradually returned.

"Damn it! This little bastard was running so fast, but how come he disappeared in the blink of an eye?"

A drooping voice rang out, "I spent so much money on this woman, and she's gone just like that? I don't care. You guys lost her, so you have to compensate me with another one!"

Aunt Lan smiled and said, "Of course! Let's keep looking for her. It won't be long now. She definitely can't get far!"

The voice gradually faded away, and Sui Yuzhu dared to move her stiff body.

She now hoped that if they couldn't find it, they would stop looking.

However, this place is still a little unsafe now. You can't see it at night, but during the day, it will be clear whether there are any Tibetans hiding there.

On the way here, she had noticed that there was a dilapidated empty house next to her, which was filled with straw. If she hid in it during the day, no one would find her.

Thinking of this, she slowly moved towards the dilapidated house.

It was extremely difficult for her to move just a few dozen meters.

After looking around and seeing no one in sight, she quickly ran into the dilapidated house.

She hid behind the haystack and covered herself tightly with the scattered straw. Only then did she dare to breathe heavily.

She wanted to hide here for a day, waiting for the storm to die down and everyone to think she had really run away and give up looking for her. Then it would be easier for her to escape.

My heart was pounding, showing no sign of stopping.

Her breathing was very loud and she could only try her best to control her breathing.

Time slowly turned to daytime, and a muscle in her brain remained tense. Even though she was extremely sleepy, she did not dare to close her eyes.

From time to time, there would be some noise outside, and it felt a bit like chaos.

The waiting time was extremely agonizing. She couldn't see outside and had no idea what time it was outside.

She only knew that she was covered in sweat, but she didn't dare to move.

She hadn't eaten since she woke up, so she didn't feel hungry at all. She just felt that her lips were terribly dry.

All the moisture in my body was lost with sweat, and I didn't even feel the urge to urinate the whole day.

When it got dark outside again, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.

When it gets dark, she immediately runs forward along the path and always finds the main road!

Feeling that she saw hope, her nerves were not so tense anymore. The smell of food coming from outside finally made her feel a little hungry.

However, she still did not move.

The sound of children playing could be heard outside, and there were faint footsteps coming towards this side.

My heart suddenly became nervous again.

The footsteps were getting closer and closer, and stopped beside her.

She didn't dare move and just hoped they would leave quickly.

"What are you doing hiding here?" a childish voice sounded.

Sui Yuzhu turned her head stiffly to look.

Then she saw a dirty little boy, about five or six years old, pushing the straw off her face and looking at her curiously.

Looking into his pure eyes, Sui Yuzhu forced a smile: "I'm playing hide-and-seek with Mom and Dad. Don't tell them I'm hiding here, okay?"

If you listen carefully, you can hear that her voice is trembling slightly.

The little boy tilted his head, then nodded slightly.

"Can you help me cover the grass?" Sui Yuzhu said softly.

The little boy nodded again and covered her with straw.

He didn't stay here for long, he got up and left.

Looking at the boy's back as he left through the gap in the grass, a strong intuition told her to leave here quickly!

I took a look outside and saw that it was getting dark, so it was time to leave.

Without any hesitation, she quickly stood up and chose to leave.
