Chapter 16 Gang Leader

There were unfinished takeout containers on the coffee table in the living room.

When Colin and his group entered, the sheriffs on the sofa stood up and looked at them with curiosity.

The young man by the window glanced at it once and then looked away, continuing to keep watch.

After a brief exchange of pleasantries and self-introductions, Bowen asked the group to take their seats.

Colin adjusted his glasses, a polite smile on his face: "Senior Sheriff Bergen, could you and my team explain the details of this mission?"

"no problem!"

Bowen nodded, his expression turning serious: "This time, the target is Gao Tianlin, the top leader of a major gang in the base city—the Peach Heart Gang. The Peach Heart Gang's underground businesses involve drug trafficking, human trafficking, organ trafficking, loan sharking, and many other areas."

"Because Gao Tianlin is a cautious person, the Peach Heart Gang's businesses have been developing in secret for quite some time, causing a great negative impact in the base city. It took us a lot of time and effort, and even a lot of sacrifices, to find the evidence, discover the residence of the leader Gao Tianlin, and roughly confirm his whereabouts."

Bowen took a sip of water to moisten his throat and continued, "According to our investigation, Gao Tianlin is very concerned about his own safety. He usually takes six or more subordinates with him when he goes out. We can confirm that these subordinates are armed, and they may not only have basic handguns, but also more advanced firearms."

His residence was under even tighter security. To avoid alerting him, we dared not investigate further and were unsure of the specifics. However, our initial estimate was that he had at least fifteen subordinates, and they might be armed with sniper rifles.

"Sniper rifle? Are you kidding me? How are we supposed to do this kind of mission?" Wang Qiwen's expression changed.

Wang Qiwen's abrupt interruption drew the attention of Bowen and the others.

Colin smiled apologetically: "I'm sorry, this is the first time my team has done a mission, so they're still a bit inexperienced."

Wang Qiwen realized his abruptness and shut his mouth.

Bowen smiled and said, "I understand, I understand."

Colin smiled and said, "What I need to confirm is that there are no awakened or mutated individuals among them, right?"

"We can confirm that, there really isn't one."

Colin nodded. "Then tell me your plans."
