Faced with Lu Ning's excitement, the Saint Qinglan was momentarily at a loss for words.
In the end, the Sage Qinglan quietly changed the subject and opened another metal box.
Inside is a piece of obsidian the size of a pigeon egg, with strange, nebula-like substances swirling on its surface, emitting wisps of starlight.
As the obsidian appeared, Lu Ning felt a powerful divine force emanating from it.
This power is even greater than the white jade arrow that Saint Qinglan used when facing the Hand of the Underworld.
Saint Qinglan looked at the obsidian with some apprehension.
He said slowly, "This thing comes from a meteorite that fell from the sky. It caused quite a stir back then, but the story didn't spread. That meteorite even led to the sacrifice of a demigod. This is a fragment that fell from that meteorite."
Looking at the obsidian, Lu Ning asked in surprise, "Just a fragment has such powerful divine energy? What is that meteorite?"
Saint Qinglan's lips twitched, and she rolled her eyes, saying, "This is one of the Federation's most core secrets. How could I possibly know? I'm afraid only those few human guardians know the specifics, right?"
"However... there seems to be an evil force in the sky right now. Perhaps this thing is related to some evil god?"
Hearing what the Sage Qinglan said, Lu Ning nodded slightly in silence and did not ask any further questions.
Then, the Sage Qinglan explained, "This thing contains spatial power. As long as you touch this obsidian, you will suffer spatial tearing damage every second, and the location of the tear is uncertain. Even a Sage cannot withstand such power, so it is extremely dangerous."
"However, the power of this obsidian is also very strong. You can designate an area and create a black hole effect. A demigod has tested it and found that such a large piece of obsidian can devour and pulverize nearly 10,000 tons of matter. The spatial rifts left after the black hole annihilates can also cause damage."
Lu Ning listened, his eyes shining.
It's incredibly powerful that it can create black holes.
He smiled at the Sage Qinglan and said, "Thank you, Lord Qinglan. Both items are very good."
Although the side effects are severe, even saints cannot withstand them, for Lu Ning, the worst that could happen is death.
He likes anything as long as it's powerful.
Saint Qinglan couldn't help but sigh, "To be honest, besides you, only those demigod-level guardians can use such soul artifacts and dangerous items. Even at our level, unless we're facing certain death, we probably wouldn't want to use these things."
Lu Ning nodded slightly.
Then, the Sage Qinglan thought of something else.
He patted his forehead and laughed, "Didn't An Lan promise to get you a spatial bracelet? He asked me to bring it with me this time."
As he spoke, Saint Qinglan took out a silver-black bracelet from his pocket and handed it to Lu Ning.
"Take it. The material of this thing is very sturdy. Even the attack of the sun's fire last time couldn't destroy it. You don't need to worry about it being destroyed. Use your mental power to sense the bracelet and you'll know how to use it."
Lu Ning took the bracelet and put it on her wrist.
His mental energy then expanded and reached the bracelet.
Immediately, Lu Ning noticed that there was a space inside the bracelet that was about the size of a football field, filled with a large number of soul crystals, almost filling half of the space.
Lu Ning looked at Qinglan Saint with some surprise: "How come there are soul crystals inside?"
Saint Qinglan coughed and said, "I'm not like An Lan, so I don't have anything like this to give you. You didn't get any Soul Crystals as a reward for your contributions this time either. I've been thinking about it, and I have more Soul Crystals than I can use, so I'll give you some."
Lu Ning paused for a moment, then nodded and said, "Thank you, Lord Qinglan."
Saint Qinglan waved his hand: "Why are you being so polite? If it weren't for you, the problem last time would have been much bigger."
He stood up and said, "Alright, I have to go. There's a lot of diseased machinery in one area, I need to go take a look. Good luck to you."
As he spoke, he patted Lu Ning on the shoulder and said seriously, "With your strength, once you reach the Saint level, the pressure on those guardians will probably be much less."
As he spoke, he sighed and said with some emotion, "They are under too much pressure."
Lu Ning nodded silently.
Saint Qinglan took two steps, then remembered something and turned back to say, "There's something else. A very important person is passing through these two days and said he intends to meet you."
Lu Ning was taken aback and looked at Saint Qinglan.
Qinglan Saint is a Saint, and even Saints consider him a great figure. Wouldn't that make him a demigod?
He asked, somewhat puzzled, "Is it a demigod? When will they arrive?"
Saint Qinglan smiled but did not answer: "I'm not sure when that important person will arrive, but it will be in the next few days. Just keep an eye out for him."
Lu Ning nodded slightly: "Okay."
"I'm leaving, no need to see me off."
Saint Qinglan waved his hand and turned to leave.
Not long after the Azure Mist Saint left, Colin and the others came in.
At this moment, Lu Ning had already stored the Crown of Pain and the Nebula Obsidian into his spatial bracelet, so Colin and the others no longer felt the pressure of mental pollution.
Before Colin could speak, Lu Ning said, "Captain, Lord Qinglan just said that a demigod will be coming here in the next few days. You may need to make some preparations."
Colin et al: Σ(っ°Д°;)っ
Colin's expression stiffened, and his lips twitched slightly: "...I might need to stay at headquarters for a few days, or maybe Lu Ning..."
Before Colin could finish speaking, he noticed the strange looks from Li Mu and Ke Qing and the others beside him.
