Chapter 284 The Creatures Regain Consciousness

After Lu Ning disintegrated the tentacles that the creature on the chair had stabbed out, a large number of tentacles on his body stabbed at Lu Ning again.

However, as soon as these tentacles got close, they were disintegrated by Lu Ning using his flesh and blood power.

Behind Lu Ning, An Lan and the others saw the creature on the chair, and their expressions immediately became serious.

“Not human,” Osiris murmured.

This should confirm An Lan's previous conjecture that this is probably a spacecraft from an alien civilization.

This mutated creature likely arrived in an aircraft.

Aishalin was surrounded by swirling icy mist, and a chilling aura spread through her.

Frost appeared on the creature that was about to shoot out more tentacles, preventing it from doing so.

Aishalin did not use too much power; although the creature was frozen, it did not die.

Lu Ning stepped forward, stood in front of the chair, and looked into the lifeless eyes of the creature.

The next moment, Lu Ning thought for a moment and placed his hand on the writhing flesh of the creature.

An Lan, Jerry, and the others were taken aback by Lu Ning's actions.

They knew that Lu Ning's behavior usually involved absorbing mental pollution.

An Lan asked with some surprise and doubt, "Lu Ning, can his mental pollution be absorbed?"

According to Lu Ning, the calamity beasts and the diseased individuals are unable to absorb mental pollution.

Clearly, if this person can absorb mental pollution, then they are probably neither a calamity beast nor a diseased individual.

Lu Ning nodded: "Yeah, I think it should be okay."

Upon hearing Lu Ning's words, An Lan and the others all looked at the creature on the chair.

The next moment, Lu Ning pulled, and a cloud of white mist was pulled out.

Within the white mist, there was a distorted, phantom-like figure.

The phantom was a giant sphere with a metallic sheen on its surface, constantly dissolving and reforming.

During this process, fragments of various mechanical structures such as gears, pipes, and circuit boards inside the sphere can be vaguely seen.

Lu Ning sensed divinity within it.

Clearly, this is the same source of pollution that Lu Ning absorbed before, originating from an evil god.

An Lan and the others also saw the illusory figure.

After seeing the phantom, Jerry and the other ninth-tier awakened individuals immediately felt their eyes sting, as if they were seeing a blinding light.

The three saints, including Yann, looked solemnly and warily at the phantom within the source of pollution.

"Is this an evil god?"

Lu Ning absorbed the white mist into his own body and replied, "Yes, this is the source of the evil god's contamination. This being must have been contaminated by some evil god before."

After the white mist entered Lu Ning's body, it immediately became entangled with the source of pollution from the Spider Mother and the Hand of the Underworld.

An Lan recalled the phantom she had seen before and said thoughtfully, "I have never seen this evil god before. There is no information about this evil god in the information I know."

Yaen also shook his head: "I don't have any information on this evil god either."

Osiris and Aishalin also said no.

There weren't even three saints among them, let alone the others.

Lu Ning paid no attention to it, but instead looked at the creature on the chair.

Perhaps it was because Lu Ning absorbed the mental pollution within him.

The creature's previously dull eyes seemed to gradually begin to flicker.

An Lan and the others seemed to have noticed this as well.

Their expressions changed slightly.

Aishalin dispelled the chill from his head and neck.

The creature's face, covered in proliferating flesh and tissue, seemed somewhat distorted, and a pained sound followed.

Then, his eyes gradually cleared, and he seemed to regain consciousness.

When he saw Lu Ning and the others, his eyes widened in surprise at first, then revealed an expression of excitement and anticipation.

He seemed to want to make a move.

But when he realized he couldn't move, he looked down.

Upon seeing its current appearance, the creature was stunned, and a look of horror appeared in its eyes.

"& (&)¥!"

The creature opened its mouth and made a strange sound.

Perhaps due to a problem with its vocal cords, the creature's voice was extremely hoarse, as if it might lose all movement at any moment.

Lu Ning and the others frowned upon hearing what the creature said.

They don't understand.

This is not their language, and although the creature seems to want to communicate, they cannot understand it.

An Lan stepped forward, gesturing with her hands while speaking through her mouth: "What are you saying? We don't understand. Please speak in a language we can understand, or show us with your actions."

The creature stared intently at An Lan, a look of confusion appearing in its eyes.

Then, as if remembering something, he looked around, seemingly searching for something.

However, when he saw the flesh and blood and the broken mechanical wreckage in the room, despair gradually appeared in the creature's eyes.

He struggled as if trying to move, still talking, his voice sounding somewhat anxious.

An Lan thought for a moment and then said, "Aisalin, let him go."

Aishalin nodded slightly, dispelling the chill emanating from the creature.

Noticing that the ice on its body had disappeared, the creature glanced at Aishalin, then looked down at its own body.

Gradually, the flesh and blood on this creature began to wriggle, forming several tentacles.

He held the tentacles in front of his eyes, then revealed an expression of anger and pain.

He suppressed a low growl, and his tentacles slammed violently into the ground, producing a deafening roar.

Lu Ning and the others fell silent as they watched the creature vent its anger.

Su Qi couldn't help but whisper, "If I woke up and found myself like this, I'd probably go crazy."

Everyone nodded.
