The Seventh District Police Department is not far from the Mist Branch.
A few minutes later, the two cars stopped in front of the police station.
When Lu Ning and his two companions arrived at the gate, they found Wang Qiwen already waiting.
Seeing the three approach, Wang Qiwen went to greet them, complaining somewhat, "Why are you so slow?"
"This is slow? We came straight here. You're too fast! How did you get here so quickly?" Lin Xiao asked in surprise.

The four entered the police station. Because it was late at night, there were very few people inside. There was a receptionist on duty in the lobby.
Upon seeing the four people enter, the young girl quickly stood up: "Are you officers from the Mist Bureau?"

"Please follow me, Deputy Director Bowen is already waiting for you."

Lin Xiao and the other three followed them upstairs to a reception room on the second floor.
The reception room was not large, with a large table in the center. Four people were sitting at the table, three of whom were old acquaintances: Bowen, Lin Fei, and Peng Qianqian.
The other one was a woman sitting opposite the three of them.
The woman had long, black hair cascading over her shoulders, an oval face, and delicate, arched eyebrows; she was exceptionally beautiful.
However, she was pale, her hands were clenched, she was restless, and her eyes were full of fear.
Lu Ning stared straight at the woman, while Wang Qiwen, standing beside him, said speechlessly, "Lu Ning, this girl is pretty, but do you have to stare at her like that?"
Lin Xiao and Colin looked at Lu Ning with some strange expressions.
Lin Xiao grinned mischievously and winked at Lu Ning.
Even Bowen and his two companions, along with the woman herself, looked over.
Lu Ning snapped out of his daze and calmly said, "Wang Qiwen, we've met her before."
Upon hearing this, Wang Qiwen was taken aback and asked with some doubt, "Have you seen it before?"
"Yes, she was one of the two women we encountered on the way when we went to deal with Gao Tianlin last time."
Wang Qiwen looked at it carefully and his eyes widened: "It really is! I had forgotten about it."
Lin Fei smiled and said, "We didn't recognize you at first either. It was this lady who said she had seen us before."
Peng Qianqian nodded: "Lu Ning has a really good memory."
Upon seeing Lu Ning and his group of four, the woman quickly stood up, her voice hoarse and trembling as she said, "Yes, it's me. My friend and I went there on business last time..."
Lin Xiao asked, "What is it?"
The woman paused, a slightly embarrassed blush rising on her pale face: "...I've already spoken to Commander Bowen and the others. It doesn't seem to concern us now, does it? If you, sir, want to know, you should ask Commander Bowen."
Bowen nodded to Lin Xiao and smiled, "She did say that."

"Can you smell anything from inside?" Colin asked, adjusting his glasses.

The woman blushed slightly and then said, "I just felt a little hot, and I thought it might be because I drank too much, so I went for a walk outside. When I came back, I saw that the inside had become terrifying, so I... I escaped when no one was paying attention to me."
The woman's wide eyes were filled with fear.
Colin began, "When did you go to the birthday party? And when did you escape?"
The woman recalled, "The birthday party started at 8 p.m. I didn't check the time when I escaped, but I went straight to the police station after I escaped."
Bowen said, "This lady arrived at the police station at 3:22 a.m. If she had run all the way from Jinlan Garden to the police station, it would have taken an average woman about 20 minutes. She must have escaped around 3 a.m.
Colin glanced at the time: "It's already 3:40 a.m. Let's go deal with the situation over there first."
Lin Xiao nodded and said, "Madam, could you please wait here at the Public Security Bureau? We might ask you for more information after we've dealt with the situation there."
The woman nodded quickly: "Okay, okay! To be honest, I don't dare to go home right now."
Bowen said, "Team Leader Lin, I'll have Lin Fei and Qianqian take some people to assist you."
Lin Xiao thought for a moment, then nodded and said, "Okay, but you can't get close to that villa. The situation inside is not good. The mental radiation may be very high. If you get close, you may be in danger of losing mental control."
Bowen nodded repeatedly: "They will be careful."
