Lu Ning paused for a moment, then said, "It's not certain yet. I'll go take a look."

Colin and Wei Xuan returned to the third floor first, while Lu Ning and Yu Ran went to the reception room.
Farin was sitting in the reception room, holding her phone in both hands, looking anxious.
Hearing footsteps, she quickly turned around.
Upon seeing Lu Ning, Farin's eyes lit up, and she stood up to ask, "Sir, have you found my lover?"
Lu Ning looked at her and asked, "You said your lover is a shapeshifter? What can he transform into?"
Farin was taken aback, and said somewhat awkwardly, "Turn...turn into a mouse."
She smiled somewhat embarrassedly, then quickly asked, "Sir, have you found him?"
Lu Ning nodded: "If I'm not mistaken, he should have been eaten."
The air in the reception room suddenly became quiet.
Yu Ran, standing to the side, looked at Lu Ning with a shocked expression, somewhat bewildered.
Farin's eyes widened, her expression blank: "...What did you say?"
“Last night we caught a criminal who said he had eaten a rat…” Lu Ning explained calmly.
Before he could finish speaking, Farin swayed and fell backward.
Lu Ning stepped forward, grabbed the woman's shoulder, and found that she had already fainted.
Lu Ning looked at Yu Ran with some helplessness: "Yu Ran, let her rest here for a while."
Yu Ran nodded silently, then looked at Lu Ning and said, "Lu Ning, are you telling the truth? Her lover was really eaten?"
Lu Ning looked at Yu Ran with a puzzled expression: "Why would I lie to her?"
He paused for a moment, then said, "Of course, it might not be. I'll call the captain and ask him. He should be interrogating that cultist. I'll ask him this question while I'm at it."
