The group entered the mall and browsed around. Considering what was to come, neither Qiu Yuelin nor even Wei Xuan and Wang Qiwen were in the mood to shop.
Only Lin Xiao, Colin, and Lu Ning acted as if nothing had happened.
After walking around for a while, Lin Xiao saw a hot pot restaurant and suggested that everyone go eat hot pot.
This point was unanimously agreed upon by Qiu Yuelin and the other two.
Lin Xiao and Colin ate slowly, while the sky outside the window grew darker and darker.
When the sky outside had completely darkened, Lin Xiao wiped his mouth with a tissue, patted his stomach, and said with some satisfaction, "I'm full."

They glanced up briefly, then looked away and continued chatting amongst themselves.
At this point, Wei Xuan and the other two suddenly realized that this was probably the area where the Happy Paradise Gathering was taking place.
As for Lu Ning, he didn't think much about it; he just wanted to follow Lin Xiao.
Why bother thinking about it?
Although he is different now than when he first emerged from the fog, his brain can now think, and he no longer gives up thinking from time to time.
However, the habits he developed still prevented him from overthinking unnecessary things.
Lin Xiao and Colin pretended not to see Yan Feng and the others. Lin Xiao chuckled and said, "I heard this place is a lot of fun. Besides karaoke, there are bathhouses and saunas—a one-stop service! The company will cover today's expenses, so everyone can have a great time!"
Wang Qiwen's smile seemed somewhat forced, and upon closer inspection, one could see that his steps were a bit stiff.

Qiu Yuelin was just as nervous as Wang Qiwen.

After entering the gate, the group went to the front desk.
There were two beautiful female waitresses at the front desk.

Lu Ning's gaze swept over them, and in his vision, white mist surged within the bodies of the two women, their flesh twisting as if worms were wriggling inside them.
Lu Ning withdrew his gaze and looked elsewhere.
Inside the lobby and along the passageways leading to various areas, there were also some uniformed waiters.
These waiters, regardless of gender, are all good-looking and have very friendly smiles.
However, inside their bodies, flesh and blood were twisted and white mist flowed, as if they were all composed of twisted insects.
A male waiter in a passageway noticed Lu Ning making eye contact with him. He smiled slightly at Lu Ning, his smile gentle.
However, in Lu Ning's view, his face appeared as blurry as a wax figure.
Lu Ning calmly nodded slightly to the male waiter and looked away.
Colin, who was standing nearby, glanced at Lu Ning and patted him on the shoulder.
Lin Xiao leaned against the service counter and said with a smile, "We'd like a deluxe private room."
"No problem, please wait a moment." The receptionist smiled warmly and started working on the computer.
A moment later, she took out a card from the side and waved to a male waiter next to her.
A male waiter approached, and the receptionist smiled and said, "Take them to private room number 108."
The male waiter nodded, bowed slightly to Lu Ning and his group, and said very politely, "Please follow me."
Lin Xiao waved to Lu Ning and the others: "Let's go."
The group followed the waiter into a corridor and headed towards the private room.
Lu Ning's eyes scanned the surroundings along the way.
The corridor is lined with KTV rooms on both sides, and business seems to be pretty good, with people singing in most of the rooms.
Lu Ning did not see any white mist in the private room.
However, all the waiters he saw were shrouded in white mist, and their flesh and blood were twisted.
Room 108 seemed to be in a very deep area; after walking for a while, the waiter stopped us.
He opened the door to one of the private rooms and smiled, "We're here."
When Lu Ning went inside, he found that the private room was very large, almost too big for someone as small as Lu Ning.
However, Lin Xiao seemed to think there was no problem, and he smiled and said, "Thank you for your trouble."
The waiter smiled and said, "Please wait a moment. The deluxe private room also comes with a fruit platter and tea, which will be served shortly."
Not long after he finished speaking, another waiter came in carrying several large fruit platters and a pot of tea.
After the two waiters finished setting the table, they bowed and left.
As the door to the private room closed, the noise outside seemed to be shut out.
Lu Ning and his group seemed to have entered a secluded area.
Lin Xiao got up, went to the door, and glanced outside through the glass window.
Just then, a face suddenly appeared.
It was the same male waiter from before.
His smile was gentle as he pushed open the door and entered, saying, "Excuse me, sir, is there anything I can help you with?"
