Zhao Dayong tried to pull the person away, but his enraged youngest son shoved him into a corner. Guo Shi remained inside; she couldn't possibly go out now, and anyone who bumped into her would be the one to suffer.
The two children stayed quietly inside; they were terrified by the commotion outside.
"Sanzhuzi, stop! Do you want to kill your older brother?"
Zhao Dayong instinctively tried to stop his third son, but his eldest son was so badly beaten that he could barely stand, and he was afraid.
"You bastard, I'll beat you to death, I'll beat you to death!"
Li had just changed into clean clothes and came out when she saw this scene. She was both shocked and frightened. "What happened to you two wicked people again?"
Zhao Dayong roared, "Hurry up and pull them away! Erzhuzi, what are you doing?"
"Dad, this is what the eldest brother owes the younger brother. A beating is too lenient. Let him vent his anger."
Erzhuzi truly felt his older brother deserved a beating; he was incredibly wicked. Looking at him, there wasn't a shred of remorse. Everyone deserved to be schemed against by him, deserved to be tormented by him.
He still wants to harm him? I'll beat him to a pulp!
After being pulled apart, Dazhuzi curled up on the ground. Li Shi was heartbroken. She patted Dazhuzi several times, crying and wailing, "Why did you hit your older brother as soon as you got home? Why can't you be quiet as soon as you get home? What are you doing? What do you want?"
This kid is always out running wild, rarely comes home, and when he does, he causes trouble.
What a tragedy.
"Stop! Don't you know your brother isn't well? Why are you hitting him? Stop right now!"
Erzhuzi watched a good show from the sidelines.
Zhao Dayong glared at him angrily and cursed, "Are you satisfied now? Are you happy to see the house in such chaos? Is this what you wanted? How could I have given birth to such a heartless wretch like you?"
Erzhuzi sneered, "Dad, if we're talking about heartlessness, anyone in the family is worse than me, including you and Mom. I'm not trying to flatter myself, but I'm probably the only one in our family with a heart."
Zhao Dayong was speechless after being rebuked, staring at Erzhuzi as if he wanted to punch a hole in him.
After the fight, everyone gathered in the main room.
Li knew nothing about what was happening, but worried that everyone would get cold, so she asked her daughter to light two stoves in the main room.
"Tell me what exactly happened. Erzhuzi, can you please stop causing trouble as soon as you get home? Your daughter ruined my cotton-padded coat with firecrackers before, and now you're doing this again. What do we owe you? Can't you just stay quiet for once?"
Erzhuzi sneered. Whenever there was the slightest problem at home, all sorts of blame would be pinned on him.
His parents were indeed good parents; they loved him dearly.
"Mom, you should ask around first. Don't start scolding me without knowing anything."
Is there anyone in this family more obedient than him? Everyone else can be hit and scolded, but he's the only one who deserves praise.
He used to be silly and knew nothing, but now he's not the same silly guy he used to be; he's got a mouth now.
Li was furious at being scolded, but she felt heartbroken when she saw the injuries on her eldest and youngest sons, and even her old man had bruises on his face.
"We have to go to a banquet tomorrow, why did you all have to fight at this crucial moment? How am I supposed to go out and face people tomorrow? Are you all trying to drive me crazy?"
“Mother, my brother is a monster. Ask him what he did that was so despicable. Beating him is too lenient.”
"No matter what he did, he's still your brother. Brothers don't hold grudges overnight. You guys have to stick together."
"Pah!" Sanzhuzi retorted, his neck stiff with disdain.
"If you're not a real man, you're like a rat on a wall, always doing things in secret. If you're so capable, why don't you do it openly and honestly? Huh?"
Mother, you probably don't know, do you? Why did I become like this? Why didn't I study properly at the academy and instead hung out with troublemakers? It's all his fault. He took me out to play, and seeing that I was young and didn't understand, he told me that studying was boring and tiring, and that I should just play and leave everything else to him.
And the result? You saw it yourself, this is the result of handing it over to him.
I had thought about studying hard before, but as soon as I sat down, he urged me to go out and play, saying that I was too young to work so hard, and that he wouldn't tell us if I played.
I thought he was so good to me, but it turns out he was just playing me, deliberately trying to corrupt me and prevent me from focusing on my studies.
You know those guys in the village, right? They're my gang of brothers. He's the one who brought me here to hang out. Thanks to my good brother, I've become a good-for-nothing now.
You all say I'm not studying well, now you know why, right? It's not that I don't want to study well, it's that my older brother won't let me, Mom!
Isn't that guy despicable? He started out fighting for a spot in school, but when he couldn't get it, he resorted to underhanded tactics.
"Look at him, so gloomy, he's obviously no good. Only you guys are protecting him. Just you wait and see, this kind of person will never amount to anything. No wonder he can't have children; his ass is too wicked, even God can't stand it."
Upon hearing that he couldn't have children, Dazhuzi flew into a rage. This was his sensitive area, a sensitive area that no one else could touch.
"You bastard, I'll beat you to death!"
Big Pillar was hit where it hurt the most, and howled as it lunged at Three Pillars again.
Sanzhuzi was young and hot-blooded, and he was not afraid of him at all.
The two immediately started fighting again, this time even more fiercely than before, as if they were fighting for their lives.
However, Da Zhuzi was still at a disadvantage and couldn't beat his underlings at all.
Sanzhuzi is no longer the same Sanzhuzi he used to be. He's grown into a young man now, and he can completely overwhelm Dazhuzi in every way.
Erzhuzi continued watching the show with his arms crossed, not expecting there to be another one, which turned out to be quite exciting.
"You brat, stop right now!"
After hearing her youngest son's words, Li completely lost the ability to think. She remained like a puppet for a long time until Dazhu's wails brought her back to her senses.
"Come and break up this fight!"
She went over to break up the fight, but the two men swept her arm, causing her to almost fall and stumble several steps.
"Oh my God!"
Big Pillar got punched in the face by Three Pillars.
Zhao Dayong trembled all over. Looking at his two sons rolling on the ground, he felt a tightness in his chest, unable to go up or down, and his vision blurred.
"Stop! All of you, stop!" he roared hoarsely.
