Chapter 516 The Grand Finale

Thank you so much, my dear readers, for sticking with me this far! I'm truly grateful! The following is just a little rambling from the author as the story concludes.

This is my second novel. My first book was a family time-traveling farming story. You can check it out if you're interested.

It has been a year and a half since I was diagnosed with a herniated disc last year. I never thought I would fight this disease for so long. In fact, I felt that I was almost recovered in the second half of 2023. I wanted to find a job. Writing novels doesn't earn much money and it's not a long-term solution. But my dad was in a car accident in September, which disrupted my plans. The month I spent taking care of him and the more than half a month of autumn harvest successfully caused my herniated disc to relapse!

My long-time readers should know that I took a month off from updating. The reason for the break was that I was taking care of my father in the hospital. Later, I went home to harvest corn and rice. Due to health and family reasons, I was considering giving up. However, seeing everyone's comments and urging for updates kept me going. Although there were few positive reviews and urgings for updates, your words were my motivation to continue.

I've also seen a lot of your complaints. Once things have settled down with my father, I'll reread the novel and make some changes based on your feedback, including but not limited to those about my poor punctuation.

I hope everyone is satisfied with my changes.

I will continue to work hard and improve myself to bring you better works! If you like my work, please follow the author! My next book is already in the works and may be released later because I have to go back to the village to fight the lawsuit against the person who hit my dad. I need to get a disability assessment and find a lawyer. I've never done this before. I heard that even if the traffic police find the other party fully responsible, people like my dad might not get their money back. I plan to fight that family to the end!

Why is it that he can hit someone and not have to pay the price, while my dad has to suffer and be left with a disability? They not only don't care at all, but they also go to our village to spread rumors that my dad is trying to extort money by staging an accident!

People are so wicked. I'm ready to fight them. No matter if they threaten me, lay a hand on me, think that my daughter is easy to bully, or think that my dad is honest and easy to talk to, I will not let them succeed!

Sometimes I really wish I had a spirit cannon to blast all these bullies to death, but alas, I'm just an ordinary person...

But let's look on the bright side. Although my dad's walking is affected, it's good that he's still alive! As long as he's alive, that's more important than anything else!

Actually, I thought of many endings for this novel. I've seen some people think it's wrong for the female lead to abandon the male lead and leave, feeling that she has no feelings for him. But I want to say that Lin Ru is a very opinionated person. Even though she has come to understand the seven emotions and six desires in this world and experienced true feelings that she doesn't have outside, her life goal is still to ascend to immortality. In her struggle with the Heavenly Dao, she can vaguely sense that she was brought to this world not just to fulfill the original female lead's last wish. So her departure is also a gamble. The reason I wrote it this way is because I hope that everyone will not be easily swayed by emotions in their daily lives. As long as you stick to yourself, keep moving towards your goals, and continuously improve yourself, more and better people will naturally come to be with you, instead of changing yourself for the sake of so-called love.

Finally, I would like to thank all my readers who have accompanied me this far! Thank you for your encouragement! I still have many shortcomings! I will try my best to improve! Thank you for this novel that brought us together, and I hope my book can bring you joy.

I wish my reader Baozi all the best in 2024 and beyond! May you enjoy good health and longevity! May all your wishes come true! May everyone be a protagonist like Lin Ru in their own world! May you achieve success in your career! May your family be harmonious! May you find your own Wu Ling! And live happily ever after!

Good morning! Good afternoon! Good evening!
