At the 2nd Army's garrison in Haiyang, members of both observation groups had arrived on the reviewing stand.

Each of them carried binoculars and moved back and forth on the viewing platform in front of their respective camps, looking very busy.

As one of the elite forces in northern Vietnam, the 2nd Army possesses top-tier equipment and weaponry, making it one of the best in the world today.

They were equipped entirely with D-grade weapons, with a small number of F-grade weapons. You might call them a ragtag army, but it's more accurate to call them a modified elite regular army.

"Model soldiers, take your positions!!!"

"Whoosh whoo ...

A row of soldiers dressed in North Vietnamese military uniforms stood up in perfect unison, holding G43 semi-automatic rifles.

"Clap clap clap clap..."

"Bang!"

As loud applause erupted from the reviewing stand, the soldiers quickly raised their rifles in salute.

"Not bad, not bad!"

On the reviewing stand, representatives from the Allied and Axis powers exclaimed, "These soldiers are truly heroic!"

"Yes, I think so too!"

Several other representatives nodded in agreement.

These soldiers are all very young, around eighteen or nineteen years old, but they have grown into the warriors they are today through trials of blood and fire.

Moreover, each of them possessed a strong physique, a resolute and courageous demeanor, and a pair of sharp, piercing eyes.

At this moment, they all stood straight, heads held high, looking straight ahead.

At this moment, a Mercedes-Benz G4 SUV carrying Marshal Zhang Xiaowu, Commander-in-Chief of the National League for Democracy in North Vietnam, slowly drove up from a distance and finally came to a stop in front of the reviewing stand.

On the viewing platform, everyone's attention was instantly drawn to it.

He was probably around twenty-seven or twenty-eight years old. Not only did he have a distinguished military record, but he also held a high position, making him a legendary figure in the Vietnamese army.

Zhang Xiaowu has a sharply defined face, thick, dark eyebrows, and tightly pursed lips. He exudes an aura of authority and coldness, making him difficult to approach.

He then gave a standard military salute to Lin Feng on the reviewing stand and said in a slightly hoarse voice, "Reporting to the Chairman! The 2nd Army of the National League for Democracy in North Vietnam has completed its assembly and is awaiting instructions!"

Lin Feng returned the salute and then said with a smile, "Thank you for your hard work! Let the parade begin."

"Yes!" Zhang Xiaowu answered simply and decisively.

With a loud whistle, the soldiers of the 2nd Army, already lined up, stood ramrod straight, eyes fixed ahead, their gazes bright and full of fighting spirit and confidence.

Their steps were steady, and their movements were fluid and natural, as if they had practiced a million times, without the slightest hint of unfamiliarity.

The first formation was a mechanized regiment of the 3rd Division of the 2nd Army.

"Thump thump thump thump thump thump thump..."

General Ma Wende, the army commander, and Lieutenant General Huang Quang Hui, the political commissar, personally led the team. Behind them were the flags of the National League for Democracy (NLD) and the flags of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam (DAV), making it a truly impressive display.

Armed with MP40 submachine guns, M24 long-handled grenades strapped to their waists, and wearing steel helmets, they exuded a menacing aura as they walked.

"Salute—!" Ma Wende shouted.

In an instant, more than 300 soldiers of the National League for Democracy in North Vietnam raised their right arms and saluted the reviewing stand.

Standing on the viewing platform, Lin Feng watched their synchronized movements and their menacing gazes, and was immediately filled with awe.

He then returned a standard military salute.

Chen Sanyuan stood between the two observation groups, explaining the parade to them: "Most of the weapons equipped by our troops are domestically developed D-type equipment, along with some F-type equipment. Whether in terms of performance or practicality, our army is absolutely invincible in Asia..."

Upon hearing this, Victor Hope and Archibald Wavell of the Allied observer group gloated.

You Hans have finally met your match. Look at the Vietnamese; they stripped your country bare of its weapons.

Mas Schulz's face darkened.

These North Vietnamese soldiers were all equipped with an MP40 submachine gun, which is something even their frontline troops couldn't manage!

Next came the rocket launcher formation and the information formation, carrying Pzf60 rocket launchers and D2 backpack radios...

Further on was the artillery formation, with D-type and F-type artillery, ranging from small to large calibers; it had everything it should have, and even some that it didn't.

When the tank formation appeared, the representatives of both observation groups were dumbfounded.

D-class weapons: Panzer I, Panzer II, Panzer III, Panzer IV, and even Panther medium tanks, Tiger heavy tanks, and Tiger II heavy tanks!

F-Weapons: Renault R-35 light tank, Soma S-35 medium tank, Renault Char D2 medium tank, Char B1 heavy tank, FCM 2C heavy tank!

They instantly recalled their conversation from the previous night. Lin Feng was right; he did indeed have the ability to provide them with the weapons and equipment they needed.

Whether it's D-type or F-type.

But one thing they all understood was that relying solely on the army was definitely not enough.

"Thump thump thump thump thump thump thump..."

As the deafening sound of footsteps echoed, squads of North Vietnamese soldiers marched with resounding steps along the edge of the parade ground.

The army parade ended at 11:00 AM.

On the viewing platform, everyone chatted enthusiastically.

“General Archibald, I think Chairman Lin’s conditions are fine. I can add some D-type equipment to it to make it easier for us to study Hans,” Victor Hope said with a smile.
