It was already 8 p.m. when we got back to Laizhou City.
Lin Feng had a dark expression the whole way, clearly very dissatisfied with the pilots' performance.
He walked into the office, sat down in the boss's chair, and took out his cigarette case to have a smoke.
But after searching for a long time, he couldn't find a cigarette.
Damn it!
Lin Feng sighed in frustration and threw the cigarette pack onto the table.
Just then, the door suddenly opened, and Nguyen Thi Mai walked in holding a document.
Upon seeing Lin Feng, she first respectfully greeted him as "Commander-in-Chief," then handed him the documents in her hand. "Commander-in-Chief, we have intercepted intelligence from the Japanese army. Reinforcements from the Japanese Imperial Headquarters landed at Fangchenggang at 7 p.m. tonight."
"Yo ho."
Lin Feng glanced at it, a sinister smile creeping onto his lips. "They've finally arrived."
"Any news about Hans's army?"
"have."
Nguyen Thi Mai nodded slightly. "The 121st Infantry Division landed at the central port of Da Nang this afternoon and is rapidly assembling. It is estimated that they will arrive in Hanoi in the north in two or three days to join forces with the troops from Japan and France."
"Very good. Now go and notify the Army Ministry, the Air Force Ministry, as well as the communications and logistics departments, to come to the General Headquarters for an operational meeting tomorrow," Lin Feng instructed in a deep voice.
"Won't the navy call for help?"
"Navy?" Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "What's the point of calling them that? They don't even have any ships, what's the point of calling them that?"
"I was going to call them, but who told them to keep protesting outside with banners every day???"
"No!!!"
Nguyen Thi Mai was taken aback.
Lin Feng waved his hand: "Go ahead."
"yes!"
Nguyen Thi Mai left the office.
………………………………
At 9:20 a.m. the following morning.
Trucks lined up in front of the headquarters building, and staff from various departments poured into the headquarters to prepare for an important operational meeting.
"Old Zhang?" Zhu Shixiong rushed to greet Zhang Xiaowu upon seeing him.
"Brother Zhu, long time no see! You've gotten even more handsome, haha!" Zhang Xiaowu grinned.
"Ugh, your mouth is still so greasy, I'm about to throw up." Zhu Shixiong rolled his eyes.
"Stop talking nonsense." Zhang Xiaowu chuckled and patted Zhu Shixiong on the shoulder. "Let's go in quickly. If the Commander-in-Chief gets impatient, I'm afraid we'll be in big trouble."
Zhu Shixiong laughed and said, "Don't worry, your commander-in-chief has a very good temper."
The two walked toward the conference room, chatting and laughing.
Then, more than a dozen trucks arrived and parked in front of the headquarters.
10 o'clock sharp.
The meeting officially began.
Lin Feng stood up and his gaze swept across the faces of the heads of various departments below.

Chen Sanyuan, Director of the Communications Department of the National League for Democracy Army; Wang Yunfei, Director of the Logistics Department of the National League for Democracy Army; and Nguyen Thi Mai, Director of the Intelligence Department of the National League for Democracy Army.
Total: 28 people.
"Comrade Nguyen Thi Mai, please read the intelligence you received yesterday to each of the comrades present."
"Yes, Commander-in-Chief!" Nguyen Thi Mai responded, opened the prepared document, and read aloud: "According to the latest intelligence, the reinforcements from the Japanese Imperial Army headquarters landed at Fangchenggang at 7 p.m. last night."
"The landing forces include the 44th Division, the 55th Division, the 72nd Division, the 34th Brigade, the 49th Brigade, the 53rd Brigade, the 4th Armored Division, and the 37th Air Wing, in addition to the existing 5th Division."
"The total Japanese force in Vietnam was nearly 110,000 men, carrying a large number of anti-tank weapons, more than 500 tanks of various types, and more than 200 warplanes of various types. Even the commander was changed to Lieutenant General Yamashita Tomoyuki."
Upon hearing this data, all the commanders present changed color.
Lin Feng remained calm and composed.
He seemed to have anticipated this situation.
Nguyen Thi Mai continued, "In addition, Hans' 121st Infantry Division of more than 18,000 men also landed in Da Nang. General Cardol, the Governor-General of the French Army, and General Antoine, the Commander of the Army in Vietnam, secretly dispatched the Hanoi Tokyo Division, the Saigon Annam Division, and the Phnom Penh Cambodian Division."
"The total strength of Hans and the French has 20 bombers, 60 reconnaissance planes, and 30 fighter planes."
"That is to say, we are facing a force of about 170,000 troops."
After saying this, Nguyen Thi Mai closed the document and returned to her seat.
"Hiss~"
A collective gasp filled the conference room.
"Is this a showdown with us?" Wang Yunfei exclaimed in a low voice.
"Old Wang, how can this be called a decisive battle?"
Zhang Xiaowu glanced at Wang Yunfei and scoffed, "It's just a vanguard. If we were to really fight them, it would be at least a million strong. These 170,000 troops are only fit to be called a vanguard; they're not even enough to fill a tooth gap."
