Chapter 139 Liberation of Vietnam (35) Establishment of the Democratic Alliance Navy of North Vietnam

August 11, 1941.

The sky above Haiphong Harbor was clear and the weather was fine, with even the wind carrying a hint of warmth.

The port staff were busy but orderly carrying out their work. They were dressed in neat naval uniforms, wearing helmets and combat boots, holding firearms, and looking serious and focused.

A tall, handsome man stood with his hands behind his back on the deck of a Béarn-class aircraft carrier, gazing at the vast ocean ahead.

Behind them are D.790 carrier-based fighters, V-156F carrier-based dive bombers, and Bre.810 carrier-based torpedo bombers.

People from all walks of life in the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam, including the navy, political circles, and business circles, looked at the man with piercing eyes and solemn expressions, their gazes filled with admiration and awe.

"President."

Chen Sanyuan quickly walked to Lin Feng's side and whispered, "Everything is ready."

"Yes!" Lin Feng nodded, his gaze sweeping across the distant horizon, looking at the Richelieu-class battleships, Dunkerque-class battlecruisers, and Mogador-class destroyers, his eyes revealing a hint of excitement and anticipation, "Finally, we have a navy."

Lin Feng let out a soft breath, suppressing his excitement and exhilaration.

Lin Feng has always had a deep-seated yearning and love for the navy, because he has personally witnessed too many soldiers who shed their blood and were reborn from the ashes.

Lin Feng was even more disgusted by the Japanese devils' atrocities on the Chinese battlefield. He fantasized countless times about leading the navy to land on the Japanese mainland, stabbing the enemy's chest with his bayonet, destroying the enemy's proud iron shell with airplane shells, and finally killing all these bastards and restoring peace to the Chinese land.

Today, my dream has come true.

Lin Feng strode resolutely to the podium.

By this time, several hundred people had gathered below the podium.

President Le Van Huy of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam (DAV), Vice President Nguyen Chi Thanh of the DAV, Commander-in-Chief of the National Alliance Army Truong Tiu Vu of the DAV, Commander-in-Chief of the Army of the DAV Ly Chin Hoa, Commander-in-Chief of the Air Force of the DAV Chu The Hung, and Commander-in-Chief of the Navy of the DAV Duong Van Hai.

Also present were Chen Sanyuan, Executive Representative of the Democratic Alliance; Wang Yunfei, Director Representative of the Democratic Alliance; He Siming, Asset Management Representative of the Democratic Alliance; Zhang Jianping, News Representative of the Democratic Alliance; Wang Lichen, Defense Representative of the Democratic Alliance; and Xue Zhigang, Foreign Affairs Representative of the Democratic Alliance.

Every single one of them is an important figure in the Democratic Alliance of North Vietnam.

They wore Independence and Freedom Medals and Liberation Medals pinned to their chests, which gleamed in the sunlight.

In addition to these high-ranking leaders of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam, leaders of various industries of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam were also seated in the audience.

"salute--!!!"

At Yang Wenhai's command, everyone stood up to pay their respects, then leaned forward, bowed at a ninety-degree angle, clenched their right fists, and pressed them against their left chests.

Lin Feng calmly returned the greeting, then turned to face the crowd below the podium and said loudly, "Today, we gather here to celebrate a landmark moment—the establishment of the Navy of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam."

"This not only marks a new chapter in our national defense capabilities, but also symbolizes our unremitting pursuit of a future of freedom, independence and peace."

"On behalf of the China Democratic League, I would like to extend my warmest congratulations and sincerest respect to all naval officers and soldiers."

"Over the years, the people of northern Vietnam have endured countless hardships, but our spirit has never been extinguished. It is this spirit of perseverance and courage that has led us to where we are today."

"Our predecessors made enormous sacrifices and efforts for the independence of the country and the nation. Today, we are here not only to commemorate them, but also to carry on their unfinished cause and achieve lasting peace and prosperity."

"As an important force in safeguarding national sovereignty, the navy plays an irreplaceable and vital role in a country's development and security."

"Faced with the ever-changing international situation, we must have a strong coastal defense force to safeguard our territory and protect our people. This is not only the greatest comfort to our martyrs, but also the most powerful guarantee for all the people."

"Here, I would like to pay my highest respects to all the new recruits who are about to join the naval service of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam."

"You bear the important mission of protecting our country. I hope you will keep history in mind, live up to your mission, and continuously improve yourselves in future development, so as to dedicate your wisdom and courage to defending our motherland."

"I firmly believe that with everyone's unremitting efforts, a strong and modernized navy of the Democratic Alliance of Vietnam will stand tall among the nations of the world and contribute to the realization of national prosperity and rejuvenation."

"Finally, congratulations again on the founding of the Democratic Alliance Navy of North Vietnam! May we all unite as one and create a glorious future!"

Thank you everyone!

After saying this, Lin Feng saluted everyone.

"Slap slap..."

The applause was thunderous and lasted for a long time.

Although this was not Lin Feng's first speech, he was still moved by the atmosphere and his blood boiled uncontrollably.

With the army, navy, and air force all in place, the next step is to prepare for war and plot against the entire Southeast Asia!

Gather another million troops!

Sweep away the Japanese devils!!!
