Su Ziai saw Lin Tian's father sitting on the sofa and quickly greeted him.

Lin Tian's father glanced at Su Zi'ai, nodded, and gestured for Su Zi'ai to sit down.
Su Ziai sat on the other side of Lin Tian, her eyes lowered, not daring to look at him for long.

"Dad, how could you possibly have heard of her? How do you know my sister-in-law?"
Lin Tian pursed his lips and said.
"Hmph, why can't I get to know her? Lin Tian, do you remember what you promised me?"
Lin Tian's father questioned him in a cold voice.
Lin Tian pouted, "What did I promise you?"
"Promise me that if you marry this woman, you're not allowed to have any further contact with her."
"Dad, I didn't agree to this! Are you sure you're not mistaken?"
Lin Tian quickly retorted.
How could he possibly agree to his father's request? How could he possibly like Su Ziai?
"Then tell me, what exactly is your relationship with Su Zi'ai?"
Lin Tian's father said angrily.
"We have no relationship. I was just helping her, nothing more."
Lin Tian quickly explained.
"The help I'm talking about is more than just simple assistance."
Lin Tian's father looked at Lin Tian with a serious expression.
Su Ziai also looked at Lin Tian, a hint of doubt in her eyes. What was her relationship with Lin Tian? Why was he helping her?
"Brother, what do you mean?! What happened between me and sister-in-law?! We have absolutely no relationship!"
Lin Tian looked at his father with an innocent expression and said.
"Hmph, stop pretending! I'm warning you, don't get too close to this woman. You two are from two different worlds and aren't suited to be together."
Lin Tian's father glared at Lin Tian and said earnestly.
"Dad, get this straight, this is a relationship between my sister-in-law and me, it's not something you can interfere with."
Lin Tian said stubbornly.
"Lin Tian, shut up. Su Zi'ai, you have to listen to me on this matter."
Lin Tian's father looked at Su Zi'ai with a resolute attitude, leaving no room for negotiation.

Lin Tian's father stood up and slapped Lin Tian with his palm.
"Bang."
Su Ziai stretched out her palm and blocked Lin Tian's palm, then kicked Lin Tian in the stomach.
Lin Tian was caught off guard and was kicked to the ground.
Lin Tian's father did not want to hurt Lin Tian, so he did not go too far.
But Lin Tian's father didn't care about any of that.
"Lin Tian!"
Li Xinru looked at Lin Tian with a panicked expression.
"Xiao Ai, are you alright?"
Li Xinru ran forward and helped Su Ziai up.

Su Ziai shook her head.

Lin Tian got up from the ground, pointed at Su Ziai, and said.
