"Dr. Wu, could you please tell me which ward he's in?" Ye Haochuan said with a smile.
"This..." Wu Yushan hesitated.
"What's wrong?"
"All I know is that Dr. Hua Tuo lives in room 201 on the second floor!" Wu Yushan said.
"It's alright, thank you, Dr. Wu!" Ye Haochuan said with a smile.
"What are you thanking me for? You're always bullying me! How dare you be any more arrogant!" Wu Yushan rolled her eyes at Ye Haochuan, then turned and walked towards the elevator. "I'm going up to visit my husband."
"Oh!" Ye Haochuan nodded. "I'll see you off!"
After saying that, he followed Wu Yushan into the elevator and pressed the floor number.
Upon seeing this, Wu Yushan's beautiful eyes widened, and a strange feeling arose in her heart.
Ye Haochuan's attitude towards her was just like that of a couple!
However, she knew that Ye Haochuan did not love her. The reason he was so close to her was purely for the purpose of treating her leg ailment!
Just as the elevator doors closed, Ye Haochuan's phone rang.
I checked the number displayed on my phone and it turned out to be a text message.
"I am Lin Sen. Tonight at 8 PM, in Dr. Hua Tuo's ward, room 203!" These few lines of text immediately stirred Ye Haochuan's heart. It seemed that Dr. Hua Tuo was coming to see him tonight!
Just as Ye Haochuan was about to reply, the elevator suddenly jolted and stopped on the third floor.
"What's wrong?" Wu Yushan asked.
"The elevator is malfunctioning, let's go fix it!" Ye Haochuan explained.
"Oh, okay!" Wu Yushan said.
After saying that, the two stepped out of the elevator and walked towards a road in front of the hospital.
The two walked to a secluded street corner, and Wu Yushan suddenly stopped.
"What's wrong?" Ye Haochuan asked, puzzled.
"Over there... there are several cars keeping watch!" Wu Yushan said, pointing ahead.
Ye Haochuan looked up and immediately noticed four or five luxury cars parked on the side of the road, and a group of young people dressed in black surrounding a Rolls-Royce, seemingly discussing something.
"What do we do?" Ye Haochuan asked.
"Are you afraid of them?" Wu Yushan asked back.
"No, I'm not afraid of them!" Ye Haochuan shook his head. "They're just after me, and I want to know what their purpose is!"
"In that case, you should come with me!" Wu Yushan said.
"Okay!" Ye Haochuan replied.
The two then walked together to the Rolls-Royce.
The car window rolled down, and a middle-aged man wearing sunglasses poked his head out, looking coldly at Wu Yushan.
"I am Ye Haochuan. We were sent by Physician Hua Tuo to find you. Please come with us!" Ye Haochuan said.
Upon hearing this, the man in sunglasses inside the car immediately changed his expression.
"Ye Haochuan? You're actually Ye Haochuan?" the man in sunglasses asked in surprise.
"Yes! I wonder what business Dr. Hua Tuo has with me?" Ye Haochuan asked curiously.
"Mr. Ye, we are here to arrest you on the orders of Physician Hua Tuo. Now, come with me!" said the man in sunglasses.
Upon hearing this, Wu Yushan immediately became agitated, "Hey, don't go too far! We don't even know you, what right do you have to arrest us?"
"Hehe, Miss Wu, don't worry, it's just taking you out to eat, it won't harm your lives!" the man in sunglasses chuckled.
"What if we get poisoned after eating your food? Or what if you sell us?" Wu Yushan asked.
"Then you're all dead!" the man in sunglasses sneered.
"You..." Wu Yushan was furious.
"Don't worry, as long as Ye Haochuan isn't your fiancé, he won't be implicated!"
Ye Haochuan smiled slightly and said, "Alright, since this gentleman in sunglasses is so kind, I'll go with you!"
"Hmph! You're smart to know what's good for you!" The man in sunglasses sneered, then drove away with Ye Haochuan and Wu Yushan in tow.
"Who are these people? Why are they arresting us?" Wu Yushan asked, frowning.
"I don't know!" Ye Haochuan shook his head.
"Don't know? That's impossible! Do we have some kind of enemy here?" Wu Yushan asked in surprise.
"I don't know!"
The car pulled up in front of a high-end office building, and Ye Haochuan and Wu Yushan were dragged out of the car by the man in sunglasses.
"This is room 203 on the second floor!" the man in sunglasses said coldly.
Ye Haochuan and Wu Yushan entered the room, where a tall woman immediately came to greet them.
"Physician Hua Tuo has arrived, please follow me!" the woman said politely.
"Yes!" Ye Haochuan nodded.
Soon, Ye Haochuan and Wu Yushan arrived at ward 203.
"Physician Hua Tuo!" Ye Haochuan greeted him.
"Mr. Ye, please have a seat!" Physician Hua Tuo nodded and smiled.
"This is my friend, her name is Wu Yushan!" Ye Haochuan introduced.
"So you're Mr. Ye's friend, nice to meet you!" Physician Hua Tuo smiled and extended his hand.
"Hello!" Wu Yushan reached out and shook hands with the physician Hua Tuo.
Ye Haochuan surveyed his surroundings.
The room was very simply furnished, with an air conditioner and an LCD monitor, and nothing else!
The room was simply decorated, but every item was worth a fortune. There must be something wrong here!
A thought suddenly flashed through Ye Haochuan's mind: Could this physician Hua Tuo be Lin Zhen?
His gaze involuntarily fell on Wu Yushan.
