"Well, it's like this, as you know, our family's situation isn't great. Over the years, the Lin Group hasn't made much progress, and my father is getting old. I've been looking for a wife to help manage the company, but over the years, I've looked at a lot of girls, and none of them come from ordinary families. "Uncle Lin, you're too kind. But it's not really my place to make that decision!" Wang Qiang said with an awkward smile.
"Sigh, then you go back first and wait for my news. I'll call you when I have news!" Lin's father said.
"Okay, I'll head back now!"
Wang Qiang got up and took his leave.
Lin's father watched Wang Qiang leave before turning around and going upstairs to find Lin Yuxin and Ye Haochuan.
Ye Haochuan was taking a nap in bed when Lin's father gently pushed open the door and saw Lin Yuxin and Wang Qiang playing cards.
Lin Yuxin was having a great time when she heard a noise and immediately turned her head to look. When she saw her father clearly, her pretty face turned bright red.
"Dad, what brings you here!"
Lin Yuxin called out shyly.
"Xiaoqiang said he wanted to date you, so I came to check it out. Xiaoqiang is a good guy, you should cherish him!"
Lin's father chuckled.
"I......"
Lin Yuxin hesitated, unsure how to answer her father, her heart filled with unease.
"Uncle Lin, is Xiaoxin still at home? I want to talk to Xiaoxin!" Ye Haochuan suddenly opened his eyes and said to Lin's father.
Oh, I'm here!
Mr. Lin responded, then said to Lin Yuxin, "Xiaoxin is in her room. You two chat. I'll go to the kitchen and cook for you!"
"Okay!" Lin Yuxin nodded.
Then, Ye Haochuan got out of bed, walked out of the room, and went downstairs.
At this moment, Xiaoxin also walked out of the room wearing slippers.
"Brother-in-law, what would you like to eat?" Xiao Xin asked sweetly, a hint of joy flashing in her eyes when she saw Ye Haochuan.
"Whatever, I'm fine with anything!"
Ye Haochuan said calmly that he didn't know what to eat either.
"Okay, I'll get it for you!"
Xiao Xin ran into the kitchen as she spoke, and soon returned with four dishes and a soup, saying, "Brother-in-law, come and try it! How does it taste?"
"kindness!"
Ye Haochuan nodded, picked up his chopsticks, took a piece of meat, and put it in his mouth.
It was crispy, tender, and smooth, with an incredibly delicious flavor that made him rave about it. He said the taste was on par with that of a high-end hotel or restaurant.
"Wow, how come your cooking is so delicious?" Ye Haochuan couldn't help but praise.
"Really? Brother-in-law, you're not lying to me, are you?" Xiaoxin looked completely incredulous.
"Why would I lie to you? Would I lie to you?" Ye Haochuan laughed.
Upon hearing this, Xiao Xin finally believed Ye Haochuan's words and said, "That's good! Brother-in-law, please enjoy your meal!"
With that, Xiao Xin turned and went into the room, leaving Ye Haochuan with a playful back view.
Ye Haochuan was slightly taken aback. He realized that this little girl seemed to treat him very differently!
"What exactly does this girl like about me?"
"Did he fall for me just because I'm handsome?"
Ye Haochuan touched his handsome face and pondered to himself.
He quickly put Xiaoxin out of his mind and buried himself in his work.
Ye Haochuan didn't finish getting everything done until dinner time.
He had just finished washing up and was about to leave the room when his phone rang. It was Xiaoxin calling.
Ye Haochuan pressed the answer button: "Hello, Xiaoxin!"
"Brother-in-law, will you go shopping with me tonight?"
Xiao Xin asked in a sweet, coquettish voice.
"Going shopping? What do you want to buy?" Ye Haochuan asked.
"I want to buy a dress!"
Xiao Xin said.
"Okay, I'll come find you after get off work!" Ye Haochuan readily agreed.
"Hehe, then it's settled!"
Xiao Xin hung up the phone with a smile.
Just as Ye Haochuan was about to change his clothes, he suddenly remembered that Xiaoxin had mentioned it was evening. He was immediately startled, hurriedly ran back to his bedroom, grabbed his bag, rushed out of his room, and headed straight for Lin Yuxin's room.
Lin Yuxin was puzzled when Ye Haochuan rushed into her room, but she didn't ask any questions. She said, "Brother-in-law, aren't you afraid my dad will see you rushing into my room like that?"
"Haha, it's okay, your dad's already gone out!"
Ye Haochuan laughed and then went into the bathroom to take a shower.
"Brother-in-law, you're a really strange person!"
Lin Yuxin pursed her lips, but deep in her heart, a warm current inexplicably rose, a feeling she had never experienced before.

Half an hour later, Ye Haochuan changed into casual clothes and walked out of the room.
"Brother-in-law, you're so handsome!"
Upon seeing Ye Haochuan's attire, Lin Yuxin immediately became infatuated.
"Ahem, let's go, let's set off!" Ye Haochuan said awkwardly.
The two had just stepped out of the room when they ran into Lin's father.
Seeing Ye Haochuan's attire, Lin's father was taken aback for a moment, then his expression brightened, and he burst into laughter: "Hehe, young man, I never expected you to have such good taste! This outfit looks like it was tailor-made for you, it suits you perfectly!"
"Thanks!"
Ye Haochuan gave a slight bow.
Mr. Lin smiled and said, "Let's go shopping!"
"Thank you, Uncle Lin!" Ye Haochuan said.
