Xiao Hong smiled and said, "Don't worry! Jiaqi has a lot of work, but she also has free time! She's a responsible and good girl, I trust my intuition!"
"Alright!" Zhang Mingxuan said helplessly.
Xiao Hong walked into the kitchen and called out, "Jiaqi, come out!"
Jiaqi, wearing an apron, walked over and asked, "What is it?"
Xiao Hong handed the eggs to Jiaqi, saying, "These are for you to cook rice!"
Jiaqi smiled and took the egg yolk, saying, "Thanks!"
Xiao Hong laughed and said, "I didn't do anything for you!"
"It's just cooking! I know!" Jiaqi said with a smile, turning and leaving the kitchen.
Xiao Hong smiled as she glanced at Jiaqi's retreating figure, shook her head, and then returned to the living room to sit on the sofa.
"Ring ring..." Suddenly the doorbell rang.
"Who is it?" Xiao Hong muttered to herself in confusion.
She stood up, walked to the door, and opened it.
A young man wearing a white shirt and black trousers stood at the door, a smile on his face, looking at Xiao Hong.
"Excuse me, are you Aunt Xiaohong? I'm Lin Feng!" the young man said with a smile.
Xiao Hong looked at the handsome young man in front of her and said in surprise, "It's you?"
The young man nodded and said, "Yes, I'm here to see Jiaqi."
"She's upstairs! I'll take you up!" Xiao Hong said, then opened the door and let Lin Feng into the house.
Lin Feng walked into Xiao Hong's living room, looking around the house. He knew that Jiaqi's parents were in business, so her family was not well-off.
"She hasn't had lunch yet, has she? Wait a minute!" Xiao Hong turned and went into the kitchen.
Lin Feng glanced at the busy figures in the kitchen, smiled, and walked upstairs to the second floor.
Jiaqi lives in the easternmost bedroom on the second floor.
"Knock knock knock..." Lin Feng knocked on the bedroom door.
"Come in!" Jiaqi's voice came from inside.
Lin Feng pushed open the door and walked into the room. He saw Jiaqi sitting on the bed, wearing a pink bathrobe, with her long hair cascading down beside the pillow.
Jiaqi looked up at the boy in front of her, smiled, and asked, "Why did you think of bringing me egg yolks?"
Lin Feng walked to the bedside, placed the egg yolk on the table, and smiled, "I bought this egg yolk especially for you!"
Jiaqi stared blankly at the boy in front of her, then smiled and said, "Really?"
Lin Feng nodded seriously and said, "Of course it's true!"
"But... I already have an egg yolk!" Jiaqi said, pointing to the egg yolk on the table.
Lin Feng sat down in the chair and laughed, "Then I won't eat it; I'll give it to someone else!"
Jiaqi quickly waved her hand and said, "No, that's for me to eat!"
Lin Feng smiled at Jiaqi and said, "Jiaqi, I like you! I want to pursue you!"
Jiaqi froze, her beautiful eyes fixed on the boy before her, and asked incredulously, "Lin Feng, were you just confessing your feelings to me?"
Lin Feng smiled and said, "That's right, I want to confess my feelings to you!"
Jiaqi excitedly grabbed the blanket and laughed, "This is wonderful! I'm so happy! How did you know where I work? How did you find me? Do we know each other?"
Raymond Lam laughed, "Have you forgotten? You played the female lead in a TV series called 'Spy War'!"
"Ah! I see!" Jiaqi slapped her forehead in sudden realization.
In Jiaqi's mind, the scene from before came back to her.
She recalled playing the female lead in a spy film called "Spy War," and she even won an award for her performance.
Jiaqi thought for a moment, then smiled and said, "I remember now! Thank you!"
"It's okay! Will you agree to be my girlfriend?" Lin Feng asked.
"Yes, of course I agree!" Jiaqi nodded excitedly.
Lin Feng smiled and said, "Jiaqi, thank you for your understanding and support! You are a very outstanding girl, and I hope you will succeed!"
Jiaqi smiled and said, "I definitely will! Go for it!"
Lin Feng laughed and said, "That's good. You probably won't be able to have lunch tonight, but I'll treat you to dinner. You must do me the honor!"
"Yes!" Jiaqi nodded emphatically.
The two looked at each other and smiled.
Xiao Hong brought out the stir-fried dishes and called out, "Jiaqi, it's time to eat!"
"Oh!" Jiaqi quickly stood up and ran over to take the bowl and chopsticks.
The three of them went into the living room, sat down, and ate.
Lin Feng smiled and said, "Jiaqi, are you free at noon today?"
"No!" Jiaqi replied.
"No! Are you free tonight?" Lin Feng asked again.
Jiaqi hesitated for a moment, then said, "I'm busy!"
Lin Feng smiled and said, "It's okay, I don't have anything to do anyway! I'll pick you up tonight!"
Jiaqi laughed and said, "No need to trouble you, I can manage on my own!"
Lin Feng smiled and said, "No trouble at all! I'll head back now! Bye!"
"Okay, bye-bye!" Jiaqi said.
Lin Feng stood up, picked up his coat from the chair, and left Jiaqi's room.
After Lin Feng left, Xiao Hong asked, "Jiaqi, what does that boy do?"
"Him? He's a classmate from my school!" Jiaqi said.
Xiao Hong nodded and said, "No wonder, judging from his clothes, I thought he was a young master!"
"I see you know people quite well!" Jiaqi teased.
