Upon hearing this, Lin Feng's legs went weak, and he almost fell to the ground.

"Can I see him?" Lin Feng asked.
"I'll arrange it right away." Lin Wen nodded and then dialed Lin Feng's cell phone.
"Hello, is this Lin Feng?" The call connected, and an old voice came through.
"Yes, it is." Lin Feng took a deep breath, trying to calm himself down. "Uncle Lin, how are you now?"
"Sigh, you've really worked hard these past few days, taking care of Xiaoqian for me. It's really been a lot of work for you," Lin Feng said.
"Uncle, please don't say that." Lin Feng hurriedly waved his hand.

Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, Lin Qian's tears instantly fell.
"Foolish child, how could you make such a decision? I disagree!" Lin Wen roared. "You're still young, you have a long road ahead of you, your future is bright, and your prospects are limitless. The future of the Lin family still depends on you to inherit it."
Lin Feng shook his head: "Uncle, you don't understand. My future is beyond my control, but Lin Qian is the only daughter of the Lin family. You know how important Lin Qian is to the Lin family. Now, only I can save the Lin family. I think this is also Mom and Dad's wish, right? If I sacrifice myself, they will have no regrets."

After hanging up the phone, Lin Qian immediately rushed into Lin Feng's arms.

"Xiaoqian, don't thank me. I just wanted to make you happy," Lin Feng said gently with a smile. "Besides, this is something I owe your parents, and it's my responsibility, so I had to do it."
Lin Qian nodded: "Brother, I believe you."
"Alright, let's hurry over there, don't keep Uncle waiting." After saying that, Lin Feng took Lin Qian's hand and rushed towards the ward.
When Lin Feng arrived outside the ward, he saw Lin Qian's mother sitting by the bed, looking anxious.
When Lin Feng's mother saw him arrive, her eyes immediately welled up with tears: "Lin Feng, my child, why are you only coming now?"
"Mom, what's wrong?" Lin Feng asked his mother, puzzled.
"You still dare to say that? You just abandoned Xiaoqian and ran off without a word. If you hadn't come back, I really would have taken Xiaoqian home," Lin's mother said with a mournful face.
Lin's mother was genuinely worried about Lin Qian. Lin Feng's departure was like a thorn in her side, making her restless and unable to eat or sleep properly.
