Allen Meeks nodded: "Mr. Lin Feng, we need some information from you now. We want to know how your business is progressing in China."
"Are you trying to investigate my background?" Lin Feng asked upon hearing this.
"That's right, we want to investigate some information about you!"
Allen Meeks nodded and said, "We want to see how far you've progressed in China."
"Alright, since that's the case, I'll tell you everything I have."
Then, Lin Feng took out a pack of cigarettes from his pocket, took one out and put it in his mouth. He then handed one to Aaron Meeks and lit his own cigarette.
"I've been in China for three years now," Lin Feng said slowly. "I've worked and lived in China for a period of time."
"You lived in China for a period of time?" Alan Meeks was somewhat surprised to hear Lin Feng's answer.
"Yes!" Lin Feng nodded and said, "Back then, after I had achieved a certain level of success in China, I came to the United States, intending to continue working hard there. But just as I was about to leave China, an unexpected thing happened."
"What is it?" Allen Meeks asked after hearing Lin Feng's words.
"I failed in one mission!"
"Failure? Failure is the mother of success," Allen Meeks said calmly.
"Yes, I failed because I underestimated my opponent!"
Lin Feng nodded: "In that battle, I lost my comrades and my unit, and was ultimately forced to defect to the American forces!"
"I was arrested by the US military and imprisoned in a US military prison," Lin Feng said slowly. "Moreover, the US military forced me to do many shameful things, such as drug use, prostitution, and soliciting prostitutes, etc..."
"You were actually imprisoned by the US military?"
Hearing Lin Feng's words, Aaron Meeks was somewhat surprised: "No wonder we haven't been able to contact you for so long; it turns out you've been taken into custody by the US military."
"Not only that, I was also injured and almost lost my life."
"There, there are all sorts of torture instruments there every day," Lin Feng shook his head.
"I don't remember those things anymore, but I do remember one thing!"
"What is it?"
"I'm sentenced to death!" Lin Feng said in a deep voice. "I was tortured by the US military and sentenced to death!"
When Lin Feng finished speaking, his face turned extremely ugly. Clearly, this was a deep-seated pain in his heart that would always make him angry whenever it was mentioned.
Allen Meeks looked at him: "I can understand your feelings; after all, you've been through something like this."
Alan Meeks's words were very skillful, neither provoking Raymond Lam nor angering him.
"I once thought I would be sentenced to death by the US military," Lin Feng took a deep breath, "but I never expected to come back alive."
"I was rescued by a group of people while I was in a US military prison."
"Those people are all Chinese soldiers."
"Those people were very powerful. They found me on the second day of my imprisonment and helped me get out of jail."
"They saved me!"
Lin Feng took a deep breath: "And they helped me when I was down on my luck!"
As he said this, Lin Feng's eyes grew increasingly cold, and his body trembled slightly.
Lin Feng was filled with hatred; he wished he could tear the American soldiers to pieces and let those damned guys die.
But he couldn't, because the forces behind these guys were too enormous, even terrifyingly powerful, and he simply couldn't shake those massive entities.
"Who saved you?"
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, Allen Meeks frowned and asked, "How did you find out about this?"
"Those people were Chinese. They were Chinese who saved me," Lin Feng said through gritted teeth. "I was attacked in America, and those people were Chinese. They were Chinese who rescued me!"
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, Allen Meeks paused for a moment: "Mr. Lin Feng, you should know we are police officers."
"I know!"
Lin Feng said, "But I'm not afraid."
Lin Feng's attitude was very firm, and he was not afraid at all.
Hearing Lin Feng say this, Alan Meeks was slightly taken aback. He hadn't expected Lin Feng to be so bold as to show such an attitude in front of him. Had he forgotten his own situation?
"Then can you tell me how those Chinese people rescued you?"
Aaron Meeks asked again, his tone very polite, without revealing any displeasure.
"A friend of mine is the Chinese ambassador to the United States," Lin Feng began.
"The Chinese ambassador to the United States? Is your friend an American of Chinese descent?" Aaron Meeks asked again.
"Yes!" Lin Feng nodded and said, "His name is Lin Feng, and he's also Chinese. With his help, I escaped from that prison, which can be considered a long-cherished wish fulfilled."
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, Allen Meeks remained silent for a moment before asking, "Does your friend have any special abilities?"
"Special ability?" Lin Feng thought for a moment, then said, "He possesses the ability to manipulate lightning!"
Alan Meeks nodded; he believed Lin Feng's words.
Alan Meeks is also a computer expert and a top-tier hacker.
