Three days later.
November 2, 1930 (the 29th year of the Republic of China)
The sun was shining brightly, and the sky was cloudless.
Lin Feng, along with Chen Sanyuan and more than 30 special forces members, secretly headed south.
There was no one to see them off, and no ceremony was held.
Everything happened silently.
Lin Feng sat in the Type 94 military truck and did a final check of the system's total inventory.

"Oh my god."
"All our savings are gone."
"Don't let the Japanese devils be chasing us when we get there!"
Seeing that the system's total inventory had become empty, Lin Feng couldn't help but gasp.
"Commander-in-Chief, shall we go?" Wang Lichen, the special forces captain in the co-pilot's seat, turned to look at Lin Feng.
"From today onwards, don't call me Commander-in-Chief or Chen Ergou anymore. Just call me Boss," Lin Feng said, looking at Wang Lichen.
"Yes, boss."
Wang Lichen was slightly taken aback, but then realized that their identities from now on were completely different from before.
"Set off."
Lin Feng gave the order.
Three Type 94 military trucks roared as they drove south.

December 5, 1930 (the 29th year of the Republic of China)
After more than a month of travel, we finally arrived at our destination – Kunming!
After the July 7th Incident, Kunming, a city located on the southwestern border, became an important rear area in the War of Resistance against Japan.
Many key factories in China relocated here, making Kunming one of the eight major industrial centers in the southwest rear area.
The scenery outside the South Gate of Kunming: ancient cypress trees grow along the winding Jade Belt River, and a pagoda shines in the sunlight in the distance.
The shops lining both sides of the street, and the rows of houses, make this once bustling and lively ancient city appear even more peaceful and tranquil.
At this moment, hundreds of fully armed Yunnan soldiers, carrying guns and live ammunition, stood at the south gate of Kunming.
These soldiers checked passing pedestrians and vehicles, keeping a close watch on Japanese spies to prevent infiltration.
"Stop! Stop!"
"Show me your identification."
The Yunnan soldiers at the city gate were shouting loudly.
A Yunnan Army officer, armed with a gun, was standing at the city gate, directing his soldiers to inspect passing pedestrians and vehicles.
Lin Feng and his three Type 94 military trucks were parked not far from the south gate of Kunming.
"Boss, look..."
"It's the Yunnan Army."
Wang Lichen, the special forces captain in the co-pilot's seat, looked back at Lin Feng.
"Lichen, you and the brothers wait outside. Don't let the Yunnan army discover our identities. I'll go into the city alone to make contact."
After giving instructions to Wang Lichen, Lin Feng opened the car door and jumped out.
The moment Lin Feng got out of the car, he felt several pairs of eyes staring at him, and those eyes were not friendly.
Clearly, Lin Feng was being treated as a spy.
However, Lin Feng ignored him and walked quickly towards the city gate.
"Halt! Who goes there!?"
"Hands up!"
As Lin Feng approached the city gate, he was immediately stopped by a burly Yunnan Army lieutenant with a single bar and star on his shoulder.
The lieutenant was looking at Lin Feng with a wary expression, his right arm already at his waist.
"Sir, I'm a good person!"
Lin Feng said with a smile.
Upon hearing Lin Feng's words, the guard lieutenant's eyes sharpened, and he stared intently at Lin Feng.
"A good person?"
Lin Feng nodded.
"I really am a good person."
"You don't look like a good person to me at all. Tell me, what do you do? The more I look at you, the more you seem like a Japanese spy," the guard lieutenant sneered.
"Well……"
Lin Feng touched his nose, took out a small yellow croaker from his pocket, and secretly stuffed it into the pocket of the guard lieutenant's clothes.
"Hehe, sir, do I look like a spy to you?" Lin Feng asked with a grin.
The guard lieutenant weighed the small yellow croaker in his pocket, and his brow immediately relaxed considerably.
"Um?"
"It doesn't look like it."
The guard lieutenant scrutinized Lin Feng carefully, then shook his head. "Alright, since you're not a spy, get lost."
"Okay, thank you, sir."
Lin Feng smiled, turned around and walked towards the city gate.
Upon entering Kunming, the tower-like buildings lining the streets, with their simple and imposing appearance, evoke a sense of historical vicissitudes.
