Chapter 86 People from the Southern National Liberation Front

Three days passed in the blink of an eye.

Lin Feng returned to Laizhou City from the Dragon Valley Armory, looking haggard.

Upon arriving at the headquarters building, I saw Navy Commander Yang Wenhai leading his men in unfurling a banner.

"We need warships!"

"We need warships!!"

"We need warships!!!"

"..."

Seeing this, Lin Feng felt uneasy, but he had to force a smile: "Commander Yang, what's going on?"

Yang Wenhai's face was flushed with excitement; he was clearly overjoyed: "Commander-in-Chief! We need warships!!!"

Go cool off somewhere else.

Lin Feng interrupted him directly, walked to his office, took out a cigarette, lit it, and took a few deep drags.

I had barely sat down in the chair when someone rushed in.

Wang Lichen, covered in sweat and panting, reported to the Commander-in-Chief: "A Vietnamese man wants to see you and has been waiting for several days."

"Vietnamese?" Lin Feng raised an eyebrow. "Who?"

"He said his name was Nguyen Van Hung and that he was there to negotiate on behalf of the National Liberation Front of South Vietnam."

What exactly is the Southern National Liberation Front?

Lin Feng was stunned. "They're actually negotiating with me?"

"Uh... well, I don't know what they are either. I've only heard that they're a political party."

"never mind."

Lin Feng rubbed his tired eyes. "Bring them in."

Wang Lichen agreed and turned to leave.

Soon, Wang Lichen led Ruan Wenxiong in.

"Hello, Commander-in-Chief Lin." Nguyen Van Hung said in Vietnamese as he extended his right palm to Lin Feng.

Lin Feng did not reach out to shake his hand, but merely glanced at him indifferently.

Ruan Wenxiong's face immediately showed embarrassment. He awkwardly withdrew his hand and said with a forced smile, "Commander-in-Chief Lin, I have long admired your name. Today, my wish has finally come true. It is truly an honor."

"We only speak Chinese here, understand?" Lin Feng's eyes were indifferent.

“Uh… I’m sorry, my apologies.” Nguyen Van Hung extended his right hand again, smiling, and said, “My name is Nguyen Van Hung.”

Lin Feng continued to stare coldly at Ruan Wenxiong, ignoring him.

Ruan Wenxiong's cheeks twitched twice as he suppressed his anger. "I am here on orders to negotiate with you. Is this how Commander-in-Chief Lin treats his guests?"

Lin Feng waved his hand, signaling Wang Lichen to step back.

After Wang Lichen closed the door, Lin Feng slowly exhaled a smoke ring. "Mr. Ruan, let's get down to business."

After a moment of silence, Nguyen Van Hung said, “Commander-in-Chief Lam, our National Liberation Front of South Vietnam hopes that your army can join us to resist the invasion of the aggressors. We are willing to offer you a committee seat to join us.”

"A committee member? Heh heh heh..."

Lin Feng's lips curled into a mocking smile. "Mr. Ruan, I'm afraid you've come to the wrong person. I wouldn't dare join your so-called Southern National Liberation Front."

"Why does Commander-in-Chief Lin keep people at arm's length?" Nguyen Van Hung said with a sinister smile. "Our Southern National Liberation Front holds a pivotal position in the South, and the people support us!"

Is it useful?

Lin Feng interrupted Ruan Wenxiong without hesitation, "What do the people look at? They don't look at the organization, they only look at the results of the battle. Our National League Army annihilated the Japanese regiment. What about your Southern National Liberation Front? Can you do that?"

"you……"

Ruan Wenxiong instantly flew into a rage, stood up abruptly, and glared at Lin Feng, "Commander-in-Chief Lin, I only call you Commander-in-Chief Lin out of respect! But don't forget, your National League Army was just lucky, it just so happened that the Japanese forces were weak. If it were us, the Southern National Liberation Front, we could have fought much better!"

"Oh? Is that so?"

Lin Feng narrowed his eyes, staring intently at Ruan Wenxiong, "With the firewood sticks you have?"

Ruan Wenxiong laughed in anger, "Fire sticks? Hahaha... Good! Commander-in-Chief Lin, let me tell you, we just spent a lot of money to buy a batch of weapons: 200 M1924 light machine guns, 120 Hotchkiss M1914 heavy machine guns, 80 M1931 81mm mortars, and 30 field guns and howitzers!"

"Excuse me! Is this a fire poker!?"

Lin Feng's pupils suddenly contracted.

? ? ? ? ?

Oh?

So it was you who gave me the money?

I really have to thank you all.

Nguyen Van Hung continued smugly: "I advise you to obediently cooperate with the work of our Southern National Liberation Front, otherwise..."

"Big brother! You are truly my brother! With you providing me with food, I, Lin Feng, will do anything, even risk my life!"

Before Ruan Wenxiong could finish gloating, Lin Feng suddenly jumped up and excitedly patted Ruan Wenxiong on the shoulder, "That's awesome! Don't worry, leave your business to me, Lin Feng, I guarantee I'll complete the mission!"

Ruan Wenxiong: "..."

"Someone come here." Lin Feng beckoned.

Wang Lichen hurriedly pushed open the door and walked in: "Commander-in-Chief."

"Prepare the car; we're going to the logistics department in Laizhou City."

Lin Feng winked at Ruan Wenxiong, "Come on, bro, I'll show you something good, I guarantee you'll like it!"

"nice one?"

Ruan Wenxiong frowned in confusion.

A dozen minutes later, Lin Feng and Ruan Wenxiong boarded a truck and headed straight for the logistics warehouse in the suburbs.

The two got out of the car and went into the warehouse, where the guards opened the huge iron gate.

Nguyen Van Hung was stunned by what he saw inside the iron gate; his eyes nearly popped out of their sockets.

"Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap! Holy crap!"

The warehouse was piled high with all kinds of rifles, grenades, bullets, light and heavy machine guns, mortars, and even large-caliber heavy artillery, and everything was brand new. There were hundreds of large-caliber heavy artillery pieces alone!
