At Li Shuiwen's command, the five brigades of the Southern National Liberation Front dispersed into four groups and crawled forward in different directions.
Without alerting the enemy sentries, they used the bushes and weeds for cover and quickly approached the company wall.
"4!"
"5!"
Li Shuiwen pricked up his ears, listening to the sounds around him.
Suddenly, a sharp whistling sound came from afar.
“Bang bang bang bang bang—!”
The shells fired by more than a dozen M1931 81mm mortars accurately hit the Japanese sentries guarding the company's perimeter wall, causing a series of explosions.
"Beep beep beep beep beep—!"
"Baka! Enemy attack—!"
"Enemy attack! Enemy attack!!"
The Japanese soldiers from the rubber company reacted quickly, raising their guns and shouting at the top of their lungs.
"Bang bang bang bang bang—da da da da da—"
"Da da da da da—smack—!"
"Boom! Boom—Boom!"
The sounds of submachine guns and machine guns firing clashed and instantly resounded through the sky, bullets streaking across the heavens and falling into the distance.
"rush--!"
Li Shuiwen let out a low roar, and more than 400 men from the First and Second Battalions rushed out from the dark corners, weapons in hand, and quickly rushed up the slope toward the gate.
"Da da da—!"
"Clap clap clap—da da da—!"
"ah!"
Amidst the piercing screams, soldiers from the Southern National Liberation Front had just arrived at the gate when a large number of them were mowed down by hidden machine guns.
"Damn it, charge!"
Seeing his soldiers suffer heavy losses, Li Shuiwen's face turned grim. He gritted his teeth and ordered his remaining soldiers to rush towards the gate.
However, the narrow courtyard walls made it impossible to deploy too many troops, and the enemy had a geographical advantage, so the battle quickly reached a stalemate.
On the other side, inside the rubber company's factory.
Upon hearing the gunshot, both George Freeman and Karl Krupp were stunned.
"Quickly! Protect Mr. George and get him out of the company immediately!"
Twenty-odd Japanese soldiers rushed to George Freeman and hurriedly pulled him away, but it was too late.
Accompanied by a burst of gunfire, volleys of bullets pierced through the glass windows and iron doors, penetrating deep into the house and instantly taking the lives of several Japanese soldiers and dozens of workers.
Upon seeing this, Karl Krupp's face turned ashen, his eyes flashing with chilling murderous intent, and he clenched his fists tightly.
"Damn it! Damn it!"
At this moment, George Freeman had already been pushed outside the door. When he saw the situation outside, George Freeman's face turned completely liver-colored, and his lips trembled.
Several large holes were blasted into the outer wall, and countless Vietnamese soldiers with submachine guns were slaughtering the Japanese soldiers.
Even though they suffered heavy losses, they resolutely carried out the order to charge.
Looking at this group of fearless Vietnamese, George Freeman felt a deep sense of dread.
"Damn it!"
"Retreat! Retreat!"
"Withdraw and defend the factory!"
The Japanese company commander shouted anxiously.
At the command of the Japanese company commander, the remaining hundred or so Japanese soldiers immediately gathered their remaining forces and retreated towards the rubber company warehouse.
"boom!"
"boom!!"
"boom--!!!"
Mortar shells rained down, and bursts of dazzling fire flashed in front of the warehouse door, followed by explosions that sent up thick plumes of smoke.
Seeing this, the Japanese company commander almost fainted. Damn it, if this continued, he and his men would all be doomed.
"How long until reinforcements arrive!"
"Report, it will take at least five minutes for them to arrive."
"Baka yarou! What are you waiting for? Let the soldiers go up and hold off these guerrillas!"
"Hi!"
The Japanese soldiers, relying on the windows and walls of the warehouse, desperately resisted the advance of the Southern National Liberation Front, attempting to prevent the Southern National Liberation Front from breaking through the warehouse's defensive perimeter.
"boom--!"
A mortar shell landed near a Japanese soldier, and the huge explosion sent him flying into the sky.
"ah--!"
"Emperor, save me—!"
"Bang! Splat—!"
"Da da da da da—!"
"Clap clap clap...!"
"Charge! Charge in!"
"Kill these bastards! Avenge our fallen brothers!"
"Brothers, let's wipe out the Japanese devils!"
"Charge! Kill all the Japanese devils—!"
"Kill all the Hans!"
More than 100 soldiers from the Southern National Liberation Front rushed to the open area in front of the factory.
The Japanese soldiers opened fire on them wildly.
"Bang bang bang bang bang bang—!"
A hail of bullets rained down on the ranks of the Southern National Liberation Front soldiers, riddling them with holes.
"Pfft—!"
"Well……"
"ah!"
Blood blossoms bloomed in the air, splashing out and covering the ground.
"Kill them all!"
"Charge! Charge!"
"Charge—!"
Another group of people fell.
"Da da da—!"
"Clap clap clap—!"
"Pfft! Pfft—!"
The crimson blood stained the ground, and it also stained everyone's vision. Corpses lay on the cold soil, never to rise again, never to stand up...
"There's no time!"
As Li Shuiwen watched the hands of his pocket watch begin to tick, a strong sense of crisis welled up inside him.
