Chapter 21: Hatching Eggs

Chapter 21: Hatching Eggs

Madam Si, Si Tian and other housekeepers finished cleaning up before they walked over to sit next to him.

"Brother, what's going on?" Si Tian looked at the calm man.

"The grain became new grain, but for some reason the Liu family's grain all became moldy and rotted overnight."

After Siming finished speaking, he looked at the two of them and smiled faintly: "Also, I have spread some news that the Liu family has grain but is unwilling to sell it."

"Right now, the people in the city are surrounding the Liu family's store and smashing it up. Even the police have been dispatched."

Madam Si was also taken aback when she heard this: "Are you saying the food has changed?"

"Madam, it has really changed. I went to see it this morning and it has all become new grain. Plus, the grain that was delivered later today is all new grain."

Adjutant Qi said with a serious expression.

"Are you going to distribute this food now?" Old Madam Si thought of what Juanjuan had done yesterday and calmly stopped asking questions.

"No. I only sell it at the usual price. This rice is all top-quality rice, and I sell it at eighteen dollars per dan."

"I'm also short of money. Although I made some money from the Liu family, who would be dissatisfied with having too much money these days? I also bought this rice with real money."

Siming had planned to give it to him before, but after thinking that he couldn't do that, he changed his mind.

"It just so happens that the shop given by the Liu family sells grain." Si Tian said as he picked up the teacup and took a sip of tea.

Adjutant Qi looked at the few people. The Liu family could have offended anyone else, but they had to offend their young lady. Now they don’t know how they will die.

Liu family mansion.

After Doctor Huai confirmed that there was no problem with the pills, he let the two children of the Liu family take them.

He waited for a long time, repeatedly checking their pulses before confirming that their pulses were stable. "Madam Liu, the two young masters are no longer in danger of death."

"But after this incident, my body was severely damaged. I'm afraid I'll have to take medicine frequently in the future."

Old Madam Liu looked at the two children, who had become so thin that they looked unrecognizable, and felt extremely distressed: "Is there no other way?"

Doctor Huai shook his head: "It's a blessing to be able to save your life."

"Madam, master, something bad has happened." The Liu family's housekeeper rushed in.

Seeing that they had things to deal with, Doctor Huai said goodbye and left. He didn't let anyone from the Liu family see him off. He went out, hailed a rickshaw, and went to the Si family.

Madam Liu saw the housekeeper frowning and asked, "What are you so anxious about?"

The housekeeper said, "All the food in our homes, warehouses, and shops has gone moldy and rotten. Now that the people in the city know that we have grain but are not selling it, they are already destroying the Liu family's shops."

"What?" Madam Liu felt dizzy. "Where's the master?"

"The master is still at the Si family and hasn't come back yet." The housekeeper answered honestly.

"Hurry up and call them back." The second concubine of the Liu family said hurriedly.

"Ah! Master, what happened to you? Someone come quickly! Master has fainted." The third concubine of the Liu family exclaimed downstairs.

The Liu family was in chaos, while the Si family was peaceful and stable.

Juanjuan squatted in front of a basket of eggs, with his head lowered, not knowing what he was thinking.

Si Jinchen and Bailing also squatted beside her.

"Miss, you have been looking at these eggs for a long time." Bailing didn't know why their young lady suddenly stared at the eggs.

Juanjuan turned to look at her: "Sister, are there a lot of little dicks in your balls?"

Bai Ling was confused by her question: "I bought these eggs from outside. I don't know if they can hatch into chicks."

"There are chicks here! If we raise them, won't we have lots of eggs that we can't eat?" Juanjuan asked seriously.

Si Jinchen looked at the eggs and said, "Juanjuan, we don't have chickens at home, so we can't hatch chicks."

"Why?" Juanjuan looked puzzled.

Bai Ling: "Hatching chicks requires the right temperature, neither too cold nor too hot. The mother hen's feathers can help maintain the temperature."

Juanjuan seemed to understand: "Anything with fur and body temperature will do?"

Bailing felt that this was right, but also seemed a little wrong, but she still nodded: "Yeah."

Juanjuan turned her head to look at Songsong who was lying on the ground and yawning.

Songsong felt her gaze: "Woof woof. What for?"

Juanjuan stood up and ran to Songsong, squatting down next to him. He stretched out his little hand and touched his fluffy fur: "There's fur, there's warmth."

Is Song Song full of question marks?

What does it mean?

"Songsong, please help me hatch the eggs!" Juanjuan negotiated with it with a smile.

"Woof woof. I'm a dog, not a hen. How do I hatch?" Songsong was shocked and looked at her in disbelief.

Juanjuan didn't care. He picked out the eggs from the bamboo basket, carried them and put them in Songsong's doghouse.

Songsong's doghouse is very soft. It was specially made for it by Mrs. Si. It is soft and warm.

Si Jinchen was at a loss whether to laugh or cry when he saw her walking with her short legs and holding the egg and putting it into Songsong's nest.

Should he stop it, or help?

Before he could figure out what to do, he saw Juanjuan sticking out his little butt and lying next to Songsong's nest, placing all the eggs.

Songsong was full of resistance: "Woof woof woof. I'm a dog, I can't hatch eggs."

After Juanjuan put it away, he came to hold it: "Just try it, what if something happens?"

Songsong tilted his head and looked at it, his forehead full of question marks: What are you talking about?

The end result was that Songsong was forced into the nest to hatch the eggs.

It also had to be careful not to crush the eggs. It planned to run away after the two little guys left.

But who would have thought that the two little ones and a lark would find a cushion and sit next to it.

It felt Alexander instantly.

Madam Si and the others searched around before finally finding the two children: "Juanjuan, Achen, what are you doing?"

"Look at Songsong hatching eggs." Juanjuan turned around and said seriously.

Si Tian thought he had misheard and turned to look at Siming: "Brother, what did you just hear?"

"Juanjuan, Songsong probably can't hatch the eggs." Siming walked over to them and squatted down.

He saw a loose circle full of eggs, which looked like they could be hatched.

Songsong nodded immediately when he heard it, but before he could be happy for a while, he heard the next sentence.

"Looking at it this way, it doesn't seem impossible to hatch." Si Ming added after taking a look.

"Woof woof. Have you ever seen a dog hatching eggs?" Song Song was angry.

Juanjuan stretched out her little hand and touched his head: "When the little penis comes out, I will reward you with a big chicken drumstick."

Songsong's angry expression froze for a moment, and he lay back obediently, closing his eyes to comfort himself.

Forget it, they might give up tomorrow.

Madam Si was at a loss for words, but she was curious about why he suddenly wanted to hatch eggs: "Juanjuan, why do you suddenly want to hatch chicks?"
