Chapter 106 Evidence Found

"Stop messing around, this is my dad."

After hearing this, Liang Nannan blinked subconsciously, then picked at her ear in disbelief.

"What did you say? I might be hallucinating."

The interrogating police officer twitched his lips, then resignedly repeated, "This is my dad, my biological dad."

Liang Nannan then realized she wasn't hallucinating. She turned around and looked carefully at the police chief, then at the interrogating officer, and noticed that the two did indeed have some similarities in their features.

Could they really be father and son?

The moment the thought crossed her mind, the more she looked at the two of them, the more she felt they looked alike. So, she reached out and awkwardly covered her face, then cautiously approached the interrogating police officer and said through gritted teeth, "Why didn't you say so sooner?"

After saying that, Liang Nannan put her hand down, tugged at the corners of her mouth, and smiled, saying, "I was just joking, just joking. So please don't be angry, don't take it to heart."

Upon hearing this, the police chief gave Liang Nannan a complicated look before walking over to the lawyer and whispering something to him.

Liang Nannan breathed a sigh of relief and wiped away non-existent cold sweat from her forehead.

"Holy crap, that scared me to death."

After saying that, he turned around and glared at the interrogating police officer openly: "Tell me, why didn't you tell me about your relationship sooner? Were you deliberately trying to embarrass me?"

The interrogating police officer hurriedly clasped his hands in protest: "How could that be? I never expected my dad to kick me."

Liang Nannan glanced at her, hummed twice without saying anything. The interrogating police officer thought she was angry, so he softened his tone and patiently coaxed her.

The police chief, who was standing nearby, immediately looked away when he saw this scene; he simply couldn't bear to watch.

This is absolutely not his son, absolutely not!

After silently grumbling to himself, the police chief, adopting a businesslike demeanor, looked at the lawyer beside him and said, "Attorney Zhang, look, the evidence has been found, we..."

Attorney Zhang glanced at the video on his phone, then at the girl nestled in Shang Zhengqiang's arms, pursed his lips, stood up, and apologized to the police chief.

"Now that the evidence has been found, I have nothing more to say. I apologize for disturbing you and will take my leave."

After saying that, he didn't even glance at Shang Zhengqiang before striding away.

Seeing this, Lian Xin had a bad feeling. She nudged Shang Zhengqiang, and as soon as he was distracted, she jumped out of his arms.

Shang Zhengqiang frowned slightly, a hint of displeasure flashing through his mind.

Seeing this, Lian Xin quickly leaned close to his ear and whispered something, which improved Shang Zhengqiang's expression.

Seeing that his lawyer was gone and everyone else was looking at him, Shang Zhengqiang coughed and asked expressionlessly, "What happened?"

The police chief sneered, then handed the phone to Shang Zhengqiang: "Sir, you should take a look for yourself."

Shang Zhengqiang looked down and saw that Liang Nannan was looking at him triumphantly. Lian Xin, who was standing next to him, felt a jolt in her heart and quickly moved closer.

When she saw the video on her phone showing her pushing Song Yuli down the stairs, her face turned pale.

She instinctively grabbed Shang Zhengqiang's clothes and said, "Godfather, save me."

Shang Zhengqiang was initially angry because Lian Xin had lied to him, but when he saw Lian Xin's aggrieved look, his anger vanished completely.
