Chapter 19 She's Pregnant

Since her conversation with Lian Xin that night, Lian Xin had never contacted her again. At school, Lian Xin had always quietly acted as an invisible person, only occasionally looking at her with a particularly sinister gaze when no one was around.

Song Yuli pretended not to know anything about this. She studied hard every day, running back and forth between school, library and home.

Whenever he had time, he would talk to Liang Nannan about life and the future, and occasionally he would continue to discuss academic issues with Xu Yang. Life was ordinary, but fulfilling.

Before he knew it, two months had passed. That evening, while Song Yuli was reviewing English at home, he suddenly felt nauseous and wanted to vomit.

She thought she could endure it, but she overestimated her endurance and ended up covering her mouth and running into the bathroom.

Seeing this, Song Yuli's aunt Liu Ping asked worriedly, "Ali, what's wrong?"

Song Yuli frowned slightly, covered his mouth and shook his head, saying weakly, "I'm fine. I probably caught a chill because I haven't closed the window when I sleep at night recently."

Liu Ping didn't think much of it upon hearing this. Seeing Song Yuli's pained expression, she asked, "Do you want to take some medicine?"

Upon hearing this, Song Yuli's brows furrowed immediately, and a hint of disgust flashed across his face.

"No, Auntie, you go to sleep first, don't worry about me."

The moment he finished speaking, the feeling of nausea returned, and Song Yuli hugged the toilet, vomiting violently.

Seeing that she was unwilling to take the medicine, Liu Ping could only stand aside anxiously.

Vertical day.

Song Yuli arrived at the classroom and had just sat down when Liang Nannan approached him with a concerned expression.

"Ah Li, what's wrong? You look so pale."

Song Yuli sat in his seat, propping his head up with one hand, and said weakly, "I guess I caught a cold."

Upon hearing this, Liang Nannan pursed her lips and said, "The weather has been so unpredictable lately, with so many people in our class catching a cold. You should take care of yourself too, as we have the college entrance exam coming up soon."

Song Yuli nodded.

At noon, after school, Song Yuli and Liang Nannan went to the school cafeteria for lunch.

On the way, Liang Nannan kept chattering away, and Song Yuli felt dizzy, his eyelids started to droop.

Finally, she couldn't hold on any longer and fainted.

In the moment she fainted, she seemed to hear Liang Nannan's heart-wrenching screams.

It wasn't until after 3 p.m. that Song Yuli finally woke up.

As soon as she opened her eyes, that nauseous feeling returned. She frowned, forced herself to sit up in bed, and then found her homeroom teacher, Lu Yueling, standing to the side with an unpleasant expression.

Upon seeing this, Song Yuli's heart skipped a beat, and he asked nervously, "Teacher, what's wrong with me?"

Oh my god, could she have some kind of terminal illness? Otherwise, why does the homeroom teacher look so grim?

Upon hearing this, Lu Yueling looked at her with a complicated expression, hesitant to speak.

Song Yuli's hands tightened involuntarily. She bit her lip and asked cautiously, "Teacher, do I have some kind of terminal illness?"

Seeing her cautious demeanor, Lu Yueling took a deep breath and said coldly, "You're pregnant!"

In the next ward.

Upon hearing this, Lian Xin instinctively gripped the doorknob, her eyes flashing slightly.

She seemed to have heard something extraordinary.

A slight upturn at the corners of his lips formed a strange, enigmatic curve.

Song Yuli, you're dead this time!
