Chapter 417 Apologize to My Sister

Song Yuhao shook his head, then kicked the thief who was pretending to be dead hard: "Stop playing dead, apologize to my sister right now, or I'll beat you to death!"

Song Yuli was taken aback, and a warm feeling involuntarily washed over him.

No wonder he suddenly chased after her; it was because of her.

The thief lying on the ground pretended not to hear and continued to play dead.

Song Yuhao frowned and kicked him again without any politeness, his expression fierce: "Did you hear me? Apologize to my sister now, immediately!"

This kick was much harder than the last, and the thief cried out in pain. However, when he saw Song Yuhao's murderous gaze, he mumbled an apology: "I'm sorry."

Song Yuhao then let the thief go. Just as Song Yuli was about to leave with Song Yuhao, the victim of the theft ran over.

Seeing the thief being subdued, Ding Xiling couldn't help but kick him twice: "You dare to steal from me? You're courting death! I've already called the police, so you can just wait to go in!"

After she finished speaking, she took her bag from a young man, looked it over, and found that nothing was missing.

Actually, given her status, losing a bag wouldn't be a big deal. However, the bag she was carrying today had a different meaning; it was a gift from her deceased grandmother for her eighteenth birthday.

She sincerely thanked the men who helped subdue the thief and transferred some money to them. When she turned around, Song Yuli and Song Yuhao were no longer visible.

Ding Xiling stomped her foot angrily, feeling somewhat unhappy.

She saw it all clearly. If that young man hadn't chased after him, no one would have helped subdue the thief. So, no matter what, she wanted to thank that young man properly.

After looking around, she finally locked onto a direction and gave chase.

Over here, Song Yuli scolded Song Yuhao as they walked: "Honestly, why did you chase after him all by yourself? Luckily, the thief didn't take anything with him, otherwise how would I explain it to my uncle and aunt?"

Song Yuhao pouted, somewhat unhappy: "Who told him to push you so inconsiderately without saying a word?"

Seeing that Song Yuli was about to say something, Song Yuhao quickly spoke up: "Oh, I'm so hungry, sis, are there any restaurants around here?"

Before Song Yuli could say anything, a panting figure blocked their way.

"Phew, you guys walk so fast, I'm exhausted."

Ding Xiling was panting heavily, and her once smooth forehead was now covered with beads of sweat.

Upon seeing that she was a stranger, Song Yuhao instinctively pulled Song Yuli behind him, looking at her warily: "Who are you? What do you want?"

Ding Xiling, who was on guard: "..."

Wasn't she supposed to be a heartthrob? Why is this boy looking at me so coldly, as if she owes them money?

Song Yuli looked at her curiously, feeling that she looked familiar, as if he had seen her somewhere before, but he couldn't quite make her grow up.

Ding Xiling naturally noticed Song Yuli as well, and then raised an eyebrow: "Mrs. Nan, we meet again, what a coincidence."

Seeing Song Yuli's bewildered expression, Ding Xiling took the initiative to speak up: "More than half a month ago, in the corridor of XX Hotel, I helped you stall Jiang Yishuang."
