"Yang Chen, you should know why we came to you!"
The leader was Wang Gang, who had come to see him before. Behind him were more than a dozen men, all of whom were warriors in the territory.
"You brought so many people to my manor today. Are you going to have a fight or something else?" Seeing the other party's indifferent attitude, Yang Chen asked coldly.
"Fighting? No, that's not what our investigation team does." Wang Gang shook his head. They were just a group of soldiers, how could they defeat a general? "We've been commissioned by our alliance superiors to investigate your assets and see if there are any violations."

The group of well-dressed men behind him immediately passed by Yang Chen and entered the manor to investigate.

Bald Zhang Liang and the sisters ran out, blocking Wang Gang's way. Zhang Liang shouted at the top of his voice, "What are you doing, trespassing?!"

Zhang Liang finally recognized the person in front of him. He used to be a younger brother of his, but later left him.

"What are you checking? Could it be that I, your brother Liang, am a wanted criminal?" Zhang Liang's face was stiff, and his tone was full of questioning.
Yang Chen watched this scene and thought to himself, "So these two knew each other in the past? And it seems that Zhang Liang is Wang Gang's boss."
"Wang Gang, let me introduce you. This is my boss, Mr. Chen!"
Seeing Yang Chen approaching with his hands behind his back, Zhang Liang immediately pulled Wang Gang to meet his master: "What are you still standing there for? Why don't you call me Boss?"
Zhang Liang kicked Wang Gang's butt without giving him any face, but the latter dared not say anything despite being angry.
Even though he is now the temporary leader of the investigation team and his status is higher than that of an ordinary soldier, he has been bullied by Zhang Liang many times in the past, and he has developed a fear in his heart that cannot be easily eliminated.
"Mr. Chen...Mr. Chen." Wang Gang said in a low voice, looking up at Yang Chen who was smiling at him meaningfully.
"You idiot, you should call me boss!" Zhang Liang patted Wang Gang's head, and the latter's face darkened: "Boss."
"Okay, okay, go aside." Zhang Liang pushed Wang Gang aside like kicking a ball.
Then, he said to Yang Chen, "Mr. Chen, that coward is just like this. I often beat him up when he was a kid. He looks strong on the outside, but he's actually a weakling at heart."
"Really? I see." A smile appeared on Yang Chen's face.
The sound reached Wang Gang's ears and his face suddenly turned dark.
"Brother Liang, we are here to accept a mission. We cannot afford to offend the person in charge. Why don't you let the brothers follow the procedures and go in to investigate?" Wang Gang cleared his throat, walked up to Zhang Liang, and said hesitantly.
"It's okay. After all, we haven't done anything wrong. Why should we be afraid of an investigation?" Yang Chen said.
He knew that there couldn't be anything illegal in the manor, and he didn't want to arouse the suspicion of the investigation bureau and cause more trouble.
"Okay, listen to the boss. You guys just deal with it casually. Remember, I, Zhang Liang, never do anything sneaky, and our boss would definitely not do that either." Zhang Liang scolded.
Wang Gang felt so unlucky. This should have been his first time leading an investigation team on a mission. Why did he run into this troublesome childhood friend when he was in high spirits?
He just thought that he should finish his work and leave as soon as possible to avoid provoking this plague god.
"Yang Daili, Yang Dailan, the two of you go over and take a look." Yang Chen ordered the two guards.
When the investigation team and guards entered the manor, Yang Chen suddenly found that Xiaoke, who was hiding behind him, grabbed the corner of his clothes and pulled hard.
"What's the matter?" Yang Chen turned around and asked with his head down.
Xiao Ke's pitiful eyes were filled with nervousness. She said softly, "Mr. Chen, there's something I haven't had time to tell you. The previous owner of this manor was sentenced for illegal operations, and one of his illegal assets was inside the manor and had never been found."

Yang Chen was suddenly speechless, feeling that he was being tricked.
Will the illegal assets that were not found before be found this time? The answer is obviously yes!
