Chapter 149: The Follow-up of Pifeng Territory

Done, that's a win.

The grown man kept on talking.

Shen Tangtang clapped her hands, opened the system mailbox, and checked the challenge rewards.

A+ grade energy stone (energy amount: 5000).

The rewards were better than all the previous challenges, and I actually got an A+ grade.

Not bad, not bad.

Shen Tangtang happily withdrew from the challenge, completely unaware that in another sea area, a man who had just appeared on the ghost ship was cursing angrily.

After returning to the safe house, Shen Tangtang washed up and continued to absorb the energy stone she had obtained today. Bao Bao, who sensed the energy, also turned off the computer, ran over and lay down next to her, squinting his eyes comfortably.

The next morning, Chen Tangtang took Bao Bao into the forest to look for resource boxes and collect as usual.

Thinking of the Blue Star player I had rescued before, I suddenly wanted to go over and see how she was doing.

Shen Tangtang shouted to Bao Bao: “Follow us, let’s go see how the neighbors are doing today.”

Bao Bao tilted his head in confusion. Weren’t the neighbors all killed yesterday?

Although he was confused, Bao Bao hurried to catch up with the person in front.

Shen Tangtang was not in a hurry. She killed the mutant beasts she found, and tested and collected edible food she saw.

Three hours later, Shen Tangtang arrived in front of an ownerless safe house.

The courtyard wall had been toppled over and the yard was overgrown with weeds. The door of the safe house was half-open, and through the crack in the door one could see the chaos in the living room. The floor was covered in dried, black blood.

These were not traces of destruction caused by mutant beasts. Clear bloody footprints could be seen on the floor, which were obviously from male players, and there were two male players at that.

Shen Tangtang looked around. The safe house was just an empty shell, without any furniture, and the kitchen was also empty.

Thinking of the address that Pi Feng had revealed in the chat room, Shen Tangtang also guessed what was going on.

Disclosing the address itself is risky. It is difficult to provide timely assistance and it is more likely to cause trouble.

I searched Pi Feng's name in the chat room, and sure enough, there was no such person.

Shen Tangtang waved to Bao Bao who was running around in the yard, "Bao Bao, let's go."

"Tangtang, aren't you here to visit your neighbors?"

Baobao ran over happily, holding a big peanut he had dug out from the vegetable garden. He looked around but didn't see any other creatures.

"I won't look for it anymore."

Shen Tangtang doesn't care about the Tao.

I looked down and saw Bao Bao holding the peanuts, and squatted down to check them out in surprise.

What a surprise! She had been in the forest for so long and had never found any mutant peanuts. She didn't expect to find some in this unowned territory.

"Baobao, where did you find it?"

"Squeak? I dug it from the vegetable patch over there."

Baobao quickly used his big tail to cover the mutant peanut. I don’t know what method he used, but the mutant peanut was hidden by him.

Shen Tangtang was no longer surprised by this scene, so she stood up and walked towards the vegetable patch that Bao Bao pointed to.

This vegetable garden is behind the safe house and is divided into four plots. There are a lot of weeds in the fields, and there are several peanut plants growing in each plot.

Chen Tangtang had never planted peanuts before and was not sure whether they were ripe, so she pulled out one. The peanut had well-developed roots, and mutant peanuts as thick as fists emerged from the soil along with the plant.

The peanuts on the top have turned yellow and have clear textures, but the peanuts on the bottom are obviously unripe, white and plump, and emit a unique fragrance.

Pick an unripe one, clean it, and inspect it as usual.

[Test results: The radiation level of the mutant peanuts is 0%, making them edible.]

"Bao Bao, come here."

Shen Tangtang called Baobao over.

When she was pulling out the mutant peanuts, Baobao was squatting on the side watching. When he heard her calling him over, he ran over happily.

Bao Bao's paws suddenly stepped on the mud, and all four of his paws were immediately covered in mud. He shook his front paws and then his hind legs uncomfortably.

Seeing the little guy's uncomfortable look, Shen Tangtang grabbed the back of its neck, shook off the dirt, and put it in a dry place nearby.

He handed over the peanuts in his hand and asked, "Try it. Is it edible?"

Bao Bao grabbed the food in his paw, sniffed it, and started chewing it. While chewing, he replied, "Zhi, it's edible. It's delicious."

This unripe mutant peanut has no peanut kernels yet, it's all white flesh.

As I ate bite by bite, the fragrance of the mutated peanuts wafted out.

Shen Tangtang didn't hesitate and also washed an unripe peanut.

Yes, it has a sweet taste when eaten raw.

The peanuts were not fully ripe yet, so Shen Tangtang simply pulled them out and transplanted them into the space.

Walking out of the ownerless safe house, Shen Tangtang suddenly felt a sense of grief for the rabbit's death.

The owner of this safe house was a player whom he had saved once on a whim. Unexpectedly, she was gone in just a few days.

And it was possible that it was done by a Blue Star player, which made Shen Tangtang feel sympathy for some players in the chat room who had exposed their addresses.

When I returned to the safe house following the location, it was already dark. I fought with the fog creatures and collected hundreds of crystals.

The bonfire was lit and the sounds outside gradually disappeared.

Baobao was so tired that he lay on the ground and leaned against the campfire to keep warm.

Shen Tangtang held it and went into the bathroom to wash up.

Bao Bao soaked in his own private bathtub and tried to run out.

Shen Tangtang slapped it on the forehead and said unhappily, “Behave yourself, your tail hair is all tangled.”

“Squeak, squeak, squeak…”

Bao Bao kicked his legs, looking like he had lost all hope in life. He hated bathing the most. His fur got wet and stuck to his body, which was not comfortable at all.

I used a towel to dry the little guy, then threw him out of the bathroom and said, "Go find something to do yourself."
