Chapter 103 Drilling into his brain

Several motorcycles appeared behind the van.

Yin Lan tensed up instantly, "Could this be aimed at us?"

After all, the items in this van are quite valuable.

Zhao Gang focused on driving, not even bothering to glance at the rearview mirror, and replied, "Don't worry, it won't happen."

Yin Lan sensed something was wrong and kept glancing at the rearview mirror. Three motorcycles carrying six men and women dressed as hunters quickly arrived behind the van and were about to approach it.

Three motorcycles. The person on the lead motorcycle raised his hand and made a few gestures. Although Yin Lan couldn't understand what they meant, the other two motorcycles suddenly separated to the left and right, trying to pass through the van from both sides.

After leaving the planting village of Taoyuan Base, we officially embarked on the dirt road to the B area plantation. The road was narrow and bumpy.

The medium-sized van wobbled along the road, veering left and right to reduce the bumps.

The motorcycles that tried to pass couldn't get past them and almost fell off the road, forcing them to stop abruptly.

Otherwise, it would have to be mounted on a van body.

Two wheels against four wheels with sheet metal, the motorcycle has no chance of winning.

Yin Lan looked at the motorcycle that had been stopped, and the person on it, enraged, had already raised his gun.

She couldn't help but ask again, "Is this really not aimed at us?"

No sooner had the words been spoken than a piercing roar of engines was heard. Taking advantage of the moment when the van blocked another motorcycle, the two motorcycles overtook each other from the side of the slope.

The two motorcycles flew a hundred meters away, then quickly turned around and appeared in front of the van after controlling their speed.

It looks like they're planning to run the van over if it doesn't stop.

Yin Lan felt a chill run down her spine as she looked at the machine gun that appeared on the motorcycle ahead. What kind of luck did she have?

Looking at Zhao Gang, who remained calm and composed, showing no intention of stopping or accelerating, and steadily maintaining a snail's pace of 30 km/h, Yin Lan silently lit a row of candles for herself in her heart.

Yin Lan thought to herself, "You better not be showing off, but actually have the ability to deal with the hunters on these three motorcycles!"

Strangely enough, despite the anger and tension, and with the van and motorcycle about to collide, the three-year-old girl sitting next to her didn't react at all.

Yin Lan quickly glanced down at Zhao Xiaoxiu beside her.

Noticing her gaze, she tilted her head slightly, revealing a cute, pinkish-white face, and blinked her round eyes at her with a silly smile.

Yin Lan silently pulled out the pistol tucked into her waistband; she couldn't count on this mentally challenged father and daughter.

She can only rely on herself!

The unexpected happened just before Yin Lan was about to lean out of the car window to strike first.

With a "whoosh!", before anyone could even see where it came from, a thick, blood-red fleshy claw shot through the muzzle of the gun with lightning speed, bypassed the person on the back seat of the motorcycle, and with a swift motion, swept both the person and the gun away, slamming them into the roadside bushes.

The two drivers were shocked and startled by the sudden turn of events, and instinctively slammed on the brakes to stop.

Unexpectedly, the van suddenly accelerated and crashed into us with a loud bang.

The two hunters on the motorcycle cursed as they quickly abandoned the vehicle and fled.

The sudden collision caused an impact, and Yin Lan, who was about to lean out of the car window, was violently thrown back into her seat.

She was startled, but still subconsciously looked down at Zhao Xiaoxiu, who was silent beside her.

She's just a child, after all; she might have been thrown out by her dad's sudden acceleration and collision.

When I looked down, I saw that the person was sitting properly in their seat, and had somehow fastened their seatbelt.

"Auntie, here's the seatbelt." Zhao Xiaoxiu effortlessly pulled out another seatbelt and handed it to Yin Lan.

"...Seat belt?" Yin Lan was a little confused. Was it really necessary to wear a seat belt at this snail's pace of the van?

She instinctively took the strap and fastened it, but just as she finished doing so, the van that was accelerating forward suddenly slammed on the brakes.

If the cargo on the vehicle hadn't been securely tied, it would have all crashed forward with that sudden movement.

And she will also use her face to smash against the cold back of the front seat.

Zhao Gang opened the car door and got out. Zhao Xiaoxiu hurriedly called out, "Dad!" and handed him the long gun.

Zhao Gang took the gun and even patted the cub's head to praise her for doing a good job.

Only then, under Yin Lan's shocked gaze, did he transform his left hand into a terrifying, blood-red tentacle that danced wildly, while his right hand raised a gun and strode toward the six hunters.

"Don't shoot!"

On the only intact motorcycle, the female hunter suddenly jumped off, raised her hands, and shouted loudly.

"We just want to ask you a couple of questions, nothing more, I swear!"

Her eyes were full of pleading; she was the female hunter who had stopped Zhao Xiaoxiu and her father at the city gate earlier.

The two hunters who had been thrown into the roadside bushes by Bloodtouch struggled to their feet. One of them clutched his chest, which was throbbing with pain, and looked warily at the Bloodtouch flying behind Zhao Gang.

Noticing his gaze, the closed fleshy bud at the tip of the blood tentacles suddenly opened wide, revealing the blood-red eyeballs inside, staring at him.

The man gasped in surprise.

The female hunter's heart sank. She gestured to her companion on the motorcycle to help the others over, then looked at Zhao Gang and forced a smile, apologizing:

"We didn't expect to cause you any misunderstanding. I apologize in advance. We're sorry."

"I just want to ask you one more question about my three missing companions. We'll leave after that, okay?"

As she spoke, she led a male hunter toward Zhao Gang.
